The most captained and most transferred in player of Gameweek 2 will both be at the heart of the action as the latest round of matches draws to a close.

Sadio Mané (£9.7m) was snapped up by 487,000+ Fantasy Premier League managers after his brace against West Ham in Gameweek 1, and he is in the starting line-up tonight.

Liverpool face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park having won 2-1 on their last visit back in March. The events of that meeting bode well for Mané and the 54 percent owned Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) who both found the net.

Not surprisingly, the Egyptian is the most captained player in Gameweek 2, with 1.4 million managers handing him the armband.

Andrew Robertson (£6.0m), backed by 17 percent of Fantasy managers, also registered an assist during his last trip to Selhurst Park, as well as in Gameweek 1 of 2018/19.

There will also be much interest in the exploits of each side’s forwards tonight with Roberto Firmino (£9.5m) the second most-owned option in this encounter, his 35 percent following second only to Salah. Wilfried Zaha (£7.0m) is not far behind the Brazilian in third place with a backing of 31 percent.

After emerging as a fantastic budget option in Gameweek 1, Aaron Wan-Bissaka comes into his second match of the season now priced at £4.1m and in 22.5 percent of squads.

Tonight’s Monday night match should definitely have a big impact on the outcome of Gameweek 2.

CRYSTAL PALACE XI (4-4-2): Hennessey; van Aanholt, Sakho, Tomkins, Wan-Bissaka; Schlupp, McArthur, Milivojevic, Townsend; Zaha, Benteke.

LIVERPOOL XI (4-3-3): Alisson; Robertson, Gomez, van Dijk, Alexander-Arnold; Milner, Wijnaldum, Keita; Mané, Firmino, Salah.

Is it worth taking Eriksen out for -4?

If so what’s the best option? I wish I had money in the bank for Mane 🙁

King + stephens to maddison + kamara. For - 4

Both king and stephens will drop this week so it hard to get players som same value in the midfield? Or should I just hold?

They didn't score directly from it though. You could say the same about benched defenders in that case.

It's like when they used to give a red card and a penalty (double punishment) to goal scoring opportunity fouls. That's since been rescinded and is now a yellow.

However fpl still clearly dishing double punishment.

I mean if the player was subbed rather than sent off.
You can't specifically blame a sending off the reason for a team to then concede, especially when it isn't directly after.

How often do we see teams play better with 10 men. Shouldn't be doubly punished in my opinion.

Maybe if you'd read the rules first you could have made the decision not to play this silly game.

A player gets sent off after 5 minutes, team then concedes 6 goals - is it fair than the 'culprit' should not be penalised for goals conceded?

Oh it's not a gamebreaker for me, and haven't really looked into this instance before tonight.

And no, because he's not on the pitch, we pick players not teams.
The -3 alone is enough punishment. For no sending off, a team would have to concede 6 for the equivalent deduction alone.

According to PaddyPower, Man Utd have a 32.3% chance of keeping a CS against Spurs (H).
Huddersfield have a 41.7% chance of keeping a CS against Cardiff (H).

Does that justify starting Hamer vs CAR over DDG vs TOT?

It's a bit difficult to assess Huddersfield defensively as they've played Chelsea and Man City.
However, I'm guessing that Mourinho is going to set up much more defensively vs Spurs than Wagner is vs Cardiff.

          Pretty tough decision...
On the one hand, Old Trafford was a fortress last season. But Man Utd will be without Matic vs Spurs.
Cardiff have only managed 1 shot on target in 2 games, while Spurs have managed 16.
No team has managed more shots inside the box than Spurs over the first 2 GWs.
Cardiff are the only team that haven't scored yet too.

Man Utd have kept clean sheet at home to Tottenham for last 4 seasons, and they’ll put extra focus into their defence after the Brighton game you’d hope. So stick with De Gea I’d say

What's the priority? Currently thinking King to Zaha tonight to avoid the drop, despite the fact that King has a great fixture. Cairney to Kante also an option.

And as a fan I can say not scoring against this West Ham defence is pretty uninspiring

cramp. it’s hard work playing defensive midfielder while the other 2 score the points

If Mendy Robertson Alonso Trippier were 6.0 mids, we’d be considering all of them, and they all get as far forward as wingers, and happen to get CS points from some of the best defences in the league..,

    Actually possible to field:

    DDG
    Robertson Mendy Alonso Trippier
    Salah Mané Richarlison Fraser/Kanté
    Aguero Zaha

    Worth a thought.

Yes. Looks good, in mid and forward spots to, even with a heavy defence.
