          Yeah true. Just as you have TAA, Dilva, Kun and even Mendy could be dropped, it would be nice to have 5 playing defenders.

      Yeah looks good , also on WC but struggling to get Auba in without dropping Mane so went Mkhi instead but could still change that! Just monitor the price if Auba , might even drop on Friday evening for a 0.1 saving 🙂

    How long until the scare-mongering re Salah continues? His ownership is 54% and there are other elite players inching closer to his ownership - Aguero in particular (42%). For his ownership, he hasn't done much off note so far and there are cheaper elite options with much better fixtures + form as things stand.

      From watching the games in the first 2 weeks, I haven't seen a better FPL attacker pick than him so far.

        Points not reflecting the same though. One can argue that he can go absolutely mad and score hatties over the next couple of weeks or blank.

        But he hasn't done much as yet to justify his price tag.

          Looking at only points is called points chasing. You have to analyze his performances instead to predict future points.

          He's the furthest forward in that Liverpool attack. Just like last season. Mane isn't. Mane does look in slightly better form though, Salah looks slightly less sharp than usual, but from an FPL point of view, he's still getting the big chances more often. If not for that red card before a 1v1, he would've probably scored.

          His xG is the highest in the league too.

            I get it and I've watched the games, looked up the stats.

            He's done incredibly well but not delivering the goods he should be, at that price. All I'm saying is people playing the scare-card each time one mentions the thought of an FPL team without Salah. As long as one is able to distribute funds well and have decent captaincy options each week, they'll do well.

              Perhaps, but would you really be surprised if he got 20 points vs Brighton like Aguero did last week? It still won't end your season, but that's up to you. A bit too early to be debating whether to sell him.

                Saying 13m is too much tied up with one player.

                He might well get 20 points against Brighton but I'll be happy if my captain scores a 10 or 12 and I end up with a good score overall. Can't have them all after all.

      I'm not saying 17 points in 2 games is bad returns. But is that good enough for a player that costs 13m and leaves you with pretty much nothing to spend elsewhere in your squad.

      I'm only pointing this out because people talk of him like he's gonna score 50 fooking FPL points every GW and not owning him will lead to a disaster.

      For me the thing with salah is the consistency of his points. Makes for an excellent captaincy choice as you dont worry about the feast or famine scenario with manh of the big hitters.

        Yeh with 4 I’d have to play 2 from Periera,W-B,Fraser and Ings every week.
        But with being on a WC feel that backup is essential in not taking to many hits due to a non playing bench

      Similar position to you and we have nearly identical teams/ideas for a team. I would go with 3 because your defence is already stacked enough and doesn't really need more investment in it.

    To avoid price falls, is it better to have a player with high ownership percentage because it would take more transfers for the player to fall?

        Shame to play Kante and Periera each week, although has some potential. Luiz over Alonso is a decision that usually leaves you 30 points back, so not sure I am willing to sacrifice there.

          Yeah don’t drop Alonso. Just think having to play Kante looks bad 🙂 But yeah all of those big hitters play well, your golden. Any chance you can do Tomkins to WB and Kante to maybe Fraser? Would seem much better.

        Thanks. I did have Bilva, had a look at the numbers, and mkhi's are surprisingly good, especially considering the opposition. Then there's the rotation risk, I think Pep's preseason comments have past their sell by date, and Bilva is due a break. Not that mkhi is immune, competition in the arsenal front line, with laca, iwobi and ozil. The imminent price rise for mkhi swing it for me in the end. I reckon he'll get another before the weekend too.
