Bring in Kepa for De Gea? I have 3 Liverpool and 3 City players, so Ederson and Alisson are out of the equation. Chelsea's next couple of games look good for clean sheet points while Man Utd look shaky at the back and have tough fixtures.

Good points guys. I might just stick with De Gea. Matic and Valencia are set to return, so they should be more solid defensively.

Next GW looking to do Aubameyang for Firmino, then week after Robertson for Bailly.

Not planning to do immediately as 0 FT's - though feel it's possible Robertson might be worth the hit.

Mahrez - your guess is as good as mine with regards to playing time. Luiz - if you’re not playing him v Newcastle isn’t it worth upgrading elsewhere? Like the rest!

VVD is good but Robertson would give you more likely points IMO

Mahrez isn’t proven yet, don’t gamble and go for an obvious points scorer

Bench cost is high, put so of that into upgrading Mahrez

Which is the best and most nailed 4.5m midfielder ?

    d) other, who ?

    Thanks guys.

I think Stephens but it depends whether you mind the imminent drop or not. If I was on my wildcard this week I'd wait until he potentially drops and get him.

As it is, I've got Westwood who is nowhere near dropping. (and probably/hopefully nailed enough)

    2. Dynamic Duos

I really don't like any of them and I will be upgrading Stephens to Kante, but if you do want one then Stephens.

      1. Pierce34

I would guess we're talking about bench fodder instead of play every week. If it's to play, I probably wouldn't even have Kante unless there was some evidence he could intentionally score.

Wanted to address something I heard on the Scoutcast last night. Az said Bernardo Silva played wing back against Huddersfield but in possession, which is pretty much all of the time for Pep's City, the shape was more of a 4-4-2 with Fernandinho dropping deep and Mendy and Bilva playing as wingers. Members can have a look at their average positions here:

    https://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/matches/987609/

Bernardo Silva was the most advanced City player bar Aguero. Only Mendy had more touches in the final third.

If you're selling him because you think he'll be rotated or just because you don't think he'll score many points that's fine, but if it's because he's playing wing back in the 3-5-2 you should think again.

Wingback or winger he looked uninvolved but I'll give him 1 or 2 more games to see if it was a new gameplan crafted specially for Hud or all bottom teams

I think it's crazy people are looking to get rid. He may be rotated of course, but as of yet there is no indication of that happening. Even if he is rotated he may still be good value given how free scoring Man City are and the fixtures they have.

I don't get it either. He missed a big chance against Huddersfield, scored against Arsenal, assisted in the Community Shield, played 90 mins in all three games, and costs 7.6m.

He missed a big chance right at the end but spent most of the game not directly involved in the best attacking chances. When there are so many options doing well in a similar price range, its not that surprising

Another thing in his favour is his versatility. The fact that Pep played him in two completely different positions for the first two games should be seen as a positive not a negative, I think anyway.

No im not on a wildcard. If I was wildcarding I would be considering gaining a good lead with these fixturesm
Liverpool next few games after next week are pretty bad. Mane is only player likely to lose value on by removing as salah and robertson shouldn't b increasing. Easy few transfers once it clears up for Liverpool.

Hey all! Would love a few opinions on my current dilemma: I have a $9M-shaped hole in my midfield, which otherwise currently looks like this:

Salah, ________, Rich, Sess, Neves. Also have City attacking cover, Chelsea and 'Pool defensive cover. Two FTs.

Pedro, Miki, Mane, other? I'd love a bit of a differential pick in there but honestly not sure who'd fit the bill as a relatively long-term hold in that spot...all suggestions welcome, cheers!

    Thanks guys!

    My current team is:
    Patricio
    Lowton-Robertson-Mendy
    Maddison-Salah-Richardlison-B Silva
    Kun-Arnie-Firmino

Whats putting me off is Firmino at home fixture now. And Liverpool firing on all sylinders. Arnie has not convinced me. Tempted to go Arnie-> Zaha

I don't know how people can already use their wc, personally though there are some players I'm not happy with, I currently just see too many possible options for the replacements

Are you saying he meant he'll start and get subbed off? Hmm. Or it could mean the other way, like it happened in the last game.

I'm not sure, but I assume he may start the next game. He's very likely to be subbed at 60-70 minutes though.

Next week Valencia might be back, so Shaw won't play anyway and his price might drop. I'd make a transfer.

I like Monreal, but others on the site have been really negative about Arsenal defense, so Luiz might not be a bad choice. I assume you already have AWB, otherwise PVA is also good. Of the 3 you mentioned, Pereirra seems most likely to increase in value if that's a consideration.

I don't want to be argumentative, but I'm a paid up member and I think that accuracy of information should be important, especially in members only articles. In this post I read: "8 saves made by Fabri (£4.5m) in Gameweek 2 was a second successive Gameweek high.", which I understand to mean that Fabri has made the highest number of saves of any goalkeeper in both gameweeks.

I own Hamer and in GW2 he made 9 saves, meaning that despite conceding 6 goals he still scored 2pts. A little more careful analysis please.

It's one mistake. This site remains the best source of FPL info and it's a tiny detail... for a tiny price. Haven't seen you post at all until now so why don't you contribute to the community a little bit then make demands for barely any reason.

Fair enough then. I just think you've found a mistake and maybe should point it out subtly instead of making a professional complaint about the money you've spent. This is a friendly forum filled with discussion and you could have sent this message privately rather than post here about it.

Wilfried Zouma. Not one time, but two. Lots of player prices wrong. It’s not one mistake, it’s lots of mistakes.

Okay a name wrong... it happens and everyone knows what they means. I see mistakes on national newspapers. Like every single one of them. (recent Guardian article not including)... Give me an example of player price being wrong here.
