Palace look a real good side this year. It's a credit to hodgson really.

      Benteke though... Wow.

Palace have 3 keepers of very similar quality so I wouldn’t say Hennessy is even nailed - one bad game and he is in the bench

Is it ludicrous to ditch Salah after the Brighton game for the rough fixtures and get him back in on a WC during the Int break after GW8?
I have Mane & Salah currently but value in Mane if he continues to produce more points than Salah, it may be viable to ditch Salah for say Hazard and use the 2.5m to put towards an Alonso in DF or Aubameyang in attack.

No doubt but at 13m it might be an option to get rid for the fixtures mentioned. Just a thought at this stage and a massive haul against Brighton the weekend would derail the sell train pretty quickly lol

My wit is lost haha! I mean I think it's a very decent move to sell Salah for someone like Hazard next week until after GW9 at least! Many play far too scared on here!

I will probably sell also..and get Mane and Haz. Then after gw8 use my wc and get Salah back. That is my initial plan, but will wait and see.

        Because he's Mane

          - because his conversion rate is unsustainable and
          - 3 goals in 2 games means a projected season number of 57 goals, which isn’t going to happen 🙂

          1. BERGKOP
            • 15 Years
            8 years, 4 days ago

That goes without saying. Of course he won't score at the same rate for the whole season but while he's in form, why would you get rid?

            1. Hotdogs for Tea
              • 11 Years
              8 years, 4 days ago

I was asked why I didn’t think he would continue scoring, so answered. It was in relation to selling Salah because Mane is outscoring Salah at the moment, but I don’t think it will continue because his existing out put will not be sustained.

I haven’t owned Mane this season - went for Eriksen instead lol

      3. The Left Duke #3

I avoided Mane completely last season opting for Firmino & Salah for most of the season. As a Lpool fan and watching Mane a lot, I just thought he was too frustrating and seemed a bit jealous of the Salah impact. Towards the end of the season and the WC, Mane seems to have chilled out a bit and just looks really self-assured which is translating into the performances we've seen and FPL points. I just thought during the summer that this will be a great season for him in Klopp's system and at 3.5m less than Salah, I think it might be an option to go with Mane over Salah for a small period. I've had both from the off. Can't see Salah's price increasing really but Mane is up 0.3m already.

Not at all... less about the fixtures though, more to do with the fact that some other premium players can start firing with their good fixtures and it's impossible to afford them all with Salah.

      Mane - Richarlison - Hazard - Mhiki
      Aguero - Aubemayang - Mitrovic

is affordable if you also downgrade Robertson into AA and go without Alonso. Looks pretty enticing to me.

Looks very enticing or even ditch Mitrovic to Kamara and go 442

Depends I suppose, if Salah doesn't put in a big score soon, I can see people jumping off, especially with Mane in form and Haz back, maybe Pogba and Sterling kicking off etc.
Could potentially sell him and get him back after his tougher fixtures and make a bit of cash too. Not sure if I'd be brave enough though

Currently have this set up for GW3:

    Lloris
    Coleman - TAA - D Luiz
    Salah - Richarlison - Mkhi - B. Silva - Cariney
    Zaha - Aguero (c)

    Steklenburg - Arnie - Peltier - Wan B

    2.5m ITB with 1 FT.

My original plan was to go Arnie to Ings this week and Zaha to Auba next week. Now I am looking at my team and doubting that, as I could do the following upgrades

    A) Stick and bank FT
    B) Peltier to Mendy
    C) Cairney to Pedro
    D) Lloris to someone who hasn't got such tough run

Problem with B & C is that it takes away a good chunk of my 2.5m which I want to bolster the attack.

for the next few I do yeah I've seen a fair bit of auba this season I think it's a matter of time before he bags a brace

        - hazard not overly concerned about don't think he's fit to play 90 yet but I may bring him in on a free for a straight swap with salah next week if he does well against newcastle

        - mane - just binned him on my wc and it dont feel right but needs must im happier with my team now and feel salah(c) covers a good amount of points

On a wildcard, I reluctantly lost Mitrovic to Ings purely because I couldn't find that extra 1m. Mitro was last seen with 6 points on my bench, dammit.

In other words, yes, Mitro will outscore Ings.

I should not have went near my team:
I now have two potential wildcards

A - the safe strong bench option
    Ederson* (Hamer)
Robertson* Mendy Alonso (Wan Bisaka, Pereira)
    Mane Richarlison Mhkitaryan Pedro* (Frazer*)
Wilson Aguero Aubamgeyang (when he drops)

B - the all in clearly defined starting eleven

    Fabri* (Hamer)

    Pereira Alsonso Mendy (Bennett* Wan-Bisaka)
    Mane Richarlison Mhkitaryan Hazard* (Aitiye*)
Wilson Aguero Aubamgeyang (when he drops)

    So it is
    A)
    Ederson, Robertson, Pedro, Frazer

    B)
    Fabri Bennett, Hazard, Aitiye

impossible to answer unless you disclose who plays instead of Kamara.

      Presumably he is bench fodder?

Kamara would be a bench fodder. Other two FWDs in either case are Agüero and Mitrovic

Brought in Bilva last week, but already looking to bring in Mkhi for him.
Too soon to ditch/ too sideways?

City midfield is a lottery, B Silva is one of the longest odds in that lottery

Good point, Mkhi more pivotal for Arsenal's attack probably.

Disagree, #8s is where they're short, Mahrez doesn't appear to have been bought for that purpose so it's Dilva & Bilva until KDB is back IMO.

Not worth holding due to rotation risk, the return of D Silva and any of the other mids being selected - just sold him on my WC 🙂

Currently have this set up for GW3:

    Pickford
    Mendy - Robbo - Daniels
    Salah (c) - Richarlison - Pogba- B.Silva - Mane
    Aguero - Wilson

    Steklenburg - AWB - Kamara - Bednarek

    0,5 ITB. 1 FT.

    Save FT or any suggestions?

    Any suggestions for transfers???
    Pickford/Speroni,
    Mendy, Robertson, Kabasele, Wanb, Diop
Salah, Richarl, Lucas mour, Ozil, Hudson odoi
    Aguero, Zaha, Firminho...

Thinking of getting rid of diop, firminho, lucas and ozil, for potentially Alonso, Mitrovic, Hazard and Brooks. Think its worth the -8??

"Lewis Dunk [ankle] hasn't trained this week but it's not as bad as we first feared. Leon Balogun is expected to make his first PL start alongside Shane Duffy at Anfield. "He has made a good impression from the first day, he's played at a good level and Sunday wouldn't have fazed him. He's taken it in his stride and it's the reason we brought him in." #BHAFC

    Robertson Mendy Davies (Peltier, AWB)
    Salah Mane Bilva Richarlison (Guendouzi)
    Ings Aguero Arnautovic

As a Salahless team I have a choice between Aguero / Mane / Auba

I am currently leaning to Mane because he is at home and as Auba/Arsenal haven't hit the ground running.

    thoughts?

Liverpool will score. He will be involved.

Auba has one goal in him tops.

Less comfortable with City as away from home.
