Using my FT on Richarlison I'm gonna delay other plans and trust the rest of my squad for one more week. I've ended up having 3 Bournemouth players, and am a bit wary of counting too much on them v Chelsea.

    A) Would you play Cairney (bha) over King or Fraser?
    B) Play Doherty (whu) over Cook?

      Play Doherty

Cheers, how about Doherty over King/Fraser? That was actually what I meant to ask :p

You disagree with Holmes over here ^. I guess it's not a no-brainer. Need to thinks this over for a few days 🙂

Tricky. But consider the defensive and attacking parts separately. It could be 0-0 which is no good for your attackers or 3-3 which is terrible for your defenders. I don't like Cairney as a pick but Fraser is my 2nd sub this weekend as I don't see him doing anything.

I would probably bench Cook and play Fraser and King. But this situation will happen again and you need to either lose Fraser or King or upgrade Cairney to a player you are happy to play.

        Thanks for the reply.

I was going for Cairney + King -> Haz + Kamara. Now it's going to be Richarlison to Hazard with my big fat bank account.

I guess I'll have to decide on playing both B.mouth attackers or go with 4 at the back.

    A bit out there but...

    Hennessey
    Mendy Robertson AWB
    Salah Mané Fraser Jota
    Aguero Mitrovic Lacazette

    Any thoughts?

I agree it's a bit of a punt but I've held him since GW1...I believe him and Auba will be the partnership that Emery will eventually go for

Laca is a bad pick since Emery doesn't start him, and Mane is in poor form but was lucky with those goals.

      That's 20 mil wasted IMO

          7 years, 6 months ago

          I will explain:

          1. He doesnt know what he is talking about.

          2. He hasnt watched liverpool

          3. He wants to irritate mane owners

          4. He thinks form means just 1 game. Salah was bloody useless for a third of last season by that logic.

          5. He is angry that he doesnt have mane and missed out on 0.3

My advice ignore and continue to enjoy one of the form players this season

Disagree. Mane gets dispossessed far too often.. is a bit of a headless chicken at times. The reason he does well sometimes is he gets into positions and poaches..firmino will outscore him in the next 10 games..

I get the irony because of your name but even if this is a serious response and an accurate prediction it does not change the fact that mane is a form player right now. Firmino could outscore mane over the next 8 and both could be in great form still. Mane is a great pick. As is firmino

Check the thread. My advice to la roja was to ignore you. I have seen enough to know a proper conversation is pointless. You engaged me. Happy to leave you alone. Hope the mane pick works out for you 😎

It wouldn't be the first time for him to stop scoring after a good run. Underlying stats and eye test don't support that this 1.0 gpg average will continue for much longer.

He doesnt need a goal a game to be on form. That would be 38 goal season. If that is form then i agree he wont score 38

Inclined to Agree to some extent. Not sure Mane is worth the extra dosh over some lower priced options. I certainly don't think he is worthy of the captaincy pick in the kind of numbers we saw this game week.

Your comment is certainly not stupid.

Is this ok for next week? Or do I just swap Richarlison > Walcott and be done with it. Other option Cairney > Kante.

    Patricio
    Mendy, Robertson, Alonso, PVA, WBA
    Salah, Mane, Maddison
    Aguero, Zaha

    Hamer, Cairney, Kamara, Richarlison

    1. Holmes

Looks fine enough to save FT. Lets see how Kante plays

    2. Kun, Ayew Nigerian?
      • 10 Years
      7 years, 6 months ago

Yes do Richie to Walcott if Wally is about to rise again this GW.

I had same issue this GW with 1.5iTB. So I just did Bavies to Alonso for doing sake and saved the extra FT.

This new GW, I still have two, so I just did Richar to Walcott to catch the price rise.

Early transfer but I have one more to correct any errors.

      1. Demel
        • 14 Years

Davies isn't an error. He is am excellent option.

        1. Kun, Ayew Nigerian?
          • 10 Years
          7 years, 6 months ago

Yup. Just unlucky not to win any attacking points yet.

I didn't say he was an error. I only said in case my early this week is a mistake, I've got another FT to clarify things.

  4. Demel
    • 14 Years

I have 2 FT and am struggling to use a transfer which isn't a sideways. Bailly stands out but United's fixtures are great. The same is true for Luiz. I am reluctant to shift either.

    Any suggestions? 0 ITB.

    Ryan
Bailly - Mendy- Robbo - Luiz
    Hazard - Maddison - Pogba - Salah
    Aguero - Jiminez

    Button - AWB - Fraser - Kamara

Maybe Fraser to cheapo and Pogba to Silva?

      1. Demel
        • 14 Years
        7 years, 6 months ago

Losing Fraser to a chapter player is a big downgrade to me. He rotates the subs bench perfectly with AWB. I like a decent bench. I like Silva but he isn't nailed on. Pogba has great fixtures and scores points. He is the modern day Yaya. You don't expect it when you watch him but he gets them none the less. I think those 2 trades are sideways at best.

Same defense as yours. I was going to downgrade Bailey to upgrade Luis to Alonso but I think I’ll hold for now

        • 14 Years

I have been tinkering with that. But the 0.1m makes a big difference and I think you lose out overall. I have been considering both Spurs and Arsenal full backs as well. But they come with risk.

    3. Ohh1454
      • 8 Years
      7 years, 6 months ago

Would look to get rid of luiz and bailly if I'm being honest alonso would be great to get in for luiz you could bring in a wolves defender for bailly and they rotate brilliantly with awb but I think it's 0.1 to much keep an eye and see if any wolves defenders drop in price

      1. Demel
        • 14 Years
        7 years, 6 months ago

I can do Bailly Luiz > Alonso & Doherty.

        I am tempted.

But it means playing 2 of AWB/Doherty/Fraser/Jimenez each week.

Currently I just have to play 1 of AWB/Fraser/Jimenez.

Hi guys is this lot worth a wildcard?

Mainly to re distribute firmino cash for zaha + hazard and clear some deadwood such as hamer peltier patricio and maybe neves.

I had already used FT for rich to walcott..and contemplating neves to pedro for -4 depending on today's game..

    Patricio (hamer)
    Alonso vvd mendy tomkins (peltier)
    Salah mkhi walcott (neves westwood)
    Aguero firmino king

        Yeah, my thinking also.

Not sure if Leicester "cover" is necessary but appreciate the feedback. Maddison was a differential call given fixtures but not sure it's working out.

dont care about the points rupert, more the playing minutes and the eye test imo
if he scores big everyone and there dogs gonna get him in and the price might rise to early the smaller the score the better

The eye test is important for me too.
I'd actually want to think about getting him in for Bournemouth, thats why I'm asking how many he'd have to score to prioritise getting him in over selling Rich. Basically price vs points I suppose.

What I'm trying to get at is, if you own Richarlison, how well would Hazrad have to play for you to elect him over getting rid of Rich?

I don't own him, but if I want Hazard as well, I'd probably do both moves for a hit. A suspended Richarlison out for a hit is worth it.

I've had Aubameyang since day dot, primarily to not need to waste a transfer come GW3 when I wanted him in. I hoped for some returns in GW1-2 but totally appreciate it was not expected given the tough start.

West Ham are toilet at the moment, his stats, eye test and general involvement I thought were very poor. Up against two new CB pairing as well and still couldn't get anything.

What are we doing with Auba?

Maybe start but not last the 90. Great differential - for now. I think if he does start people will flood to get him in.

You'll probably be best him on the judy, that way less people will flock to bring him in for the juicy home fixture next week.

Finally some chaos hehe. Thoughts on the below? have 1ft and 4m itb

    Patricio --- Foster
    Mendy • Robertson • Shaw --- Peltier • AWB
    Salah • Richarlison • Mkhi • Pedro --- Stephens
    Zaha • Kun • King

    A: Richarlison >> Wally / Dilva / Hazard
    - everton, City, Chelsea have 2 great home fixtures
    - Would like more chelsea/city cover if possible. So

    B: Robertson + Richarlison >> Alonso + Wally / Dilva (-4)
    - Lpool have tough fixtures so happy to lose robbo for alonso for a hit

    C: Peltier + Richarlison >> Alonso + Wally (-4)
    - Takes out two non-starters
    - Too much money in defence imo then
    - Gives a benching headache (bench King this week and robertson next week)

    Leaning towards B

      prefer A or C
Robbo looks to me to be a season keeper; assists, bonus points etc. and you will only want him back in a few weeks time

yeah you could possibly be right.

If i do C, my def of
Alonso , Mendy, Robbo, Shaw, Awb..seems heavy so will likely have to play 4 atb. and then benching headaches..plus is it the best use of resources if am benching a 6m player each week.

        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

Yeah Haz might be tempting depending on how today goes but everton have great 2 home games coming up so quite a risk to have no everton attacker. Hence was leaning for B/C as it will allow me to bring in Chelsea and everton.

        Another alternative is doing either
D: Rich + King >> Wally + Morata (-4)..but bmouth have very decent fixtures from gw5 onwards

        E: Rich + Stephens >> Wally + Bilva/Pogba (-4)...benching headache though

Is Gundogan an option until KDB returns?

For his price 5.5, even if he only plays 2/3 games, and given Man City's fixtures, he should be easily worth his price and deliver some attacking returns as seen yesterday with his assist.

Aguero v Newcastle in his starts at the Etihad

    11/12 - goal and assist
    13/14 - goal
    14/15 - goal and assist
    15/16 - 5 goals
    17/18 - 3 goals

Thinking of Swapping Mane for Hazard. Have the cash for a straight swap now. Mane is 9.6, Hazard 10.5 & I have 0.9 in bank.

However it's telling me Mane is worth 9.8 but I'm only getting 9.6 for him. I don't know how pricing works. Will that go up if I wait or do I make the transfer now? I'm paranoid about Hazard doing something today & going up in price

          No.
You bought at 9.5? He's only gone up 0.3 to 9.8 and you get 0.1m for every 0.2m increase. Hence your current selling price is correct at 9.6
