Eden Hazard (£10.5m) and Mateo Kovacic (£6.0m) make their first starts of the season as Chelsea attempt to win on Tyneside for the first time in the league since 2011/12.

Willian (£7.5m) and Ross Barkley (£6.0m), as would perhaps be expected, are the two men to make way as Maurizio Sarri otherwise rolls out the same team that beat Arsenal last weekend.

Marcos Alonso (£6.6m), who comes into this match on the back of successive double-digit hauls, is now the second-most popular defender in Fantasy Premier League after being bought by 470,266 new managers ahead of Gameweek 3.

Chelsea assets are popular in the Fantasy community after their 100% start to the season: five of their front six (the exception being Kovacic) have been bought by more than 100,000 FPL bosses since the Gameweek 2 deadline passed.

It’s all change in the Newcastle United starting XI, with six alterations to the team that drew 0-0 with Cardiff City. The injured Jamaal Lascelles (£5.0m) and Jonjo Shelvey (£5.5m) are among the players to drop out, while there are starts for new signings Fabian Schar (£4.9m), Federico Fernandez (£4.5m), Ki Sung-yeung (£4.9m) and Salomon Rondon (£5.9m).

Rafael Benitez seems to be rolling out a five-man defence, too, switching from his regular 4-4-1-1 system.

Slavisa Jokanovic has also rung the changes at Craven Cottage, with Ryan Sessegnon (£6.4m) and Fabri (£4.5m) among five players to drop to the bench. Denis Odoi (£4.5m) returns from suspension, while Marcus Bettinelli (£4.5m) is a surprise inclusion between the sticks. Andre Schurrle (£5.9m) also returns.

The Burnley team news is much more straightforward: Sean Dyche has named an unchanged starting XI for the third league match in a row.

Chelsea XI (4-3-3): Kepa; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso; Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic; Pedro, Morata, Hazard

Newcastle United XI (5-4-1): Dubravka; Yedlin, Schar, Fernandez, Clark, Dummett; Ritchie, Ki, Diame, Murphy; Rondon

Fulham XI (4-3-3): Bettinelli; Fosu-Mensah, Le Marchand, Odoi, Bryan; Seri, McDonald, Cairney; Vietto, Schurrle, Mitrovic

Burnley XI (4-5-1): Hart; Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Ward; Westwood, Cork, Gudmundsson, Lennon, Hendrick; Wood

I'm inclined to hold on to Richarlison. Saves me 2 transfers (Out and back in) and my bench fodder Wan Bissaka has 3 good fixtures.

    Thoughts?

Wan Bissaka not necessarily coming straight back into the team. Plenty of good options who can come in

Pedro v Walcott with the extra information from today means Walcott is the one? Or someone else?

Yeah I waited for today to decide and annoyed I missed the Walcott price rise now.. Pedro taken off early wasn't a good sign, although Willian wasn't great tbh..

Still Walcott it is for me.. a bit of a nostalgia pick too so it's nice

Depends... Maybe the extra information will push people to switch formation - e.g. Richarlison to 4.5 and 4.5 forward to Mitrovic.

Pedro is always under threat of minutes and starts competing with Willian. Theo has had 2 really good games for Everton, although his minutes might also be under threat in the future (from Bernard).

I know we aren’t done with GW3, but interested in people’s thoughts on goals/scoreline for Chelsea v Bournemouth in GW4. Trying to decide whether to bench my two Cherries assets and play 5-3-2 or whether to play Fraser and a 4-4-2.

Mkhi always looks like a good option before you get him in, then immediately goes missing in 'easy' fixtures. At the quality everyone expects of him, he should be 8-9m, as he was at Utd. But he is so so inconsistent.

Peltier and Tomkins can stay on bench. You can even keep Rich for 2 weeks.

    Have 1 FT so:

Rich, Firminho, Hudson Odoi > Hazard, Jimenez/Ings/Vietto, Kante/Cairney worth a 8 point hit??

No, especially so if wouldn't play Kante/Cairney anyway.

I captained Mitrovic this week, feels incredible!
The rationale behind was Burnley’s european duties and Joe’s goals imminent table, as well as the eye test.
While I’m at it what do you guys think of Bilva+Richarlison to Hazard and Pereyra?
    Current team is:
    Foster Fabianski
    VVD Robertson Mendy Alonso AWB
    Neves Mane Richarlison Pogba Bilva
    Mitrovic Aguero Wilson
Doubling up on LIV defense has been great up to now and a great differential, of course this means going without one of the two « essential » LIV mids. I personally think that 13m for a player is way too much and takes a little fun out of my team.

Am a little tempted to switch to a 4-4-2, take Rich and my 4.5 defender out and just climb aboard the Alonso wagon.
Favourite player, crazy average position, top fixtures and likely price rises... very very tempting.

I did a similar move last week - when looking for Jota replacements, I quickly realised that none of the sub-6.5 mids were likely to outscore Alonso, so I switched to 4-3-3 and got Alonso in. You probably won't regret it in the long run.

Looking at doing Bernardo Silva to Mkhitaryan or Ramsey this week.
Bernardo Silva looks quite unlikely to start next weekend after being hooked off early against Wolves, with Sané Sterling and Mahrez all pushing for a start.
However trying to second guess Guardiola’s line-ups has always ended in tears previously. Both Ramsey and Mkhi aren’t 100% nailed yet themselves, and the thought of dropping Bilva to a player who doesn’t start is gut-wrenching.

Do people think this is a good move, and if so which of the two Arsenal kids would you bring in? I have no Arsenal coverage, and Mendy/Aguero - thoughts appreciated.

Nah I don’t believe the premise.
I think Bilva is just as likely to start as anyone else in that midfield + Jesus.
      It was a tactical substitution.

An excellent fixture coming up for him - and as you say, neither of Mkhi/Ramsey are nailed themselves. Sure Laca starts next week
