A large portion of Fantasy managers are backing the key Spurs’ men for their Monday night trip to Manchester United.

Harry Kane (£12.5m) comes into the match as the most popular player and captained by just under 500,000+ managers.

Only Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) and Sergio Aguero (£11.2m) were backed by more in Gameweek 3, and the England captain needs two goal involvements to outshine them both.

Kieran Trippier (£6.0m) is the next most fashionable member of the Spurs squad, 24 percent of Fantasy managers hoping for a repeat of recent free-kicks scored against Croatia at the World Cup and Fulham in Gameweek 2.

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea (£6.0m) remains owned by just over a quarter of managers, despite not yet keeping a clean sheet in 2018/19. Although with Spurs bringing plenty of attacking talent to Old Trafford, this match is unlikely to be the last straw for him.

The Spaniard is one of just two United players with double-figure ownership. The other one is Paul Pogba (£8.1m), currently backed by 18 percent following back-to-back converted penalties.

There will be some interest Christian Eriksen (£9.4m) and Dele Alli (£9.1m) with the Dane still just ahead of his English team-mate’s ownership, inspite of losing some set pieces duties to Trippier. Eriksen sits in 11 percent of squads with Alli in 7.6.

The secondary defenders (in terms of popularity) for each side are Luke Shaw (£5.1m) and Jan Vertonghen (£6.0m). The United man is in 8.7 percent of teams with Vertonghen in 10 percent.

SOMETHING ABOUT JOE AND WILLY BOLY.

Lamela injured in warm up. Son still away. He starts Sunday. If he scores he could be 0.6 higher by gw5.

Agree it is likely short term but reckon Walcott for instance is a better bet?

I've had him from the start and as long as he keeps starting I will consider him one of the biggest bargains in the game. But right now we are certain of just one game, because Son is back for GW5.

    A) Worth a -4 hit?

    Kamara > Mitrovic
    Richarlison > Schneiderlin

And switch to 433 so Schneiderlin on bench.

    or

    B) straight swap Richarlison > Perreira/Walcott/Pedro/somebody else

    Current team:
    Patricio
    Mendy Alonso Robertson Shaw
    Salah Mane Bilva Richarlison
    Aguero Zaha
    (Norris Wan-Bissaka Kamara Jorginho)

Walcott has to be the most popular transfer in. Two home games in a row against Huddersfield and West Ham. Essential.

      Interesting.

Essential now extends to anyone that has two decent home games in a row.

These FFS buzz words (nailed is another one) are massively overused. He could be decent, if you ignore his stats, but he is not essential. Nor is he looking at "almost definite returns".

This. I seem to recall he was “essential” at the latter part of last season too.

Nobody is essential. It’s a stupid phrase. Especially not an injury prone, inconsistent has been like Theo. Who may even share minutes with Bernard.

As an Arsenal fan it’s easy to see why Walcott might not have the best stats, he’s not that type of player. Whenever he had a good run in the side he was always one to have in your team, makes it a no-brainier to have in now at everton in-form with great upcoming games.

I have have Salah/Aguero, like most. I have the cash to get Hazard in for Mane and am incredibly tempted but it'd take a hit with Richarlison needing replacing so I'll probably hold off. Kane's a stud, but Aguero's fixtures are better and he hasn't been rotated yet so I'm happy with him as my only premium striker at the moment.
