I am playing my wildcard for this week. My team:

    GK:Ederson,Ryan
    DEF:Alonso,Mendy,Robbo,Bellerin
    MID:Hazard,Mané,Mkhi,Walcott
    FWD:Agüero,Madine

As you can see I have lett 3 spots in my team blank. I need one more defender, midfielder and striker.

So now down to the question...

    A).Trippier/Fraser/Quaner
    B).AWB/Neves/Zaha

    Would really appreciate some comments!

Trippier seems overkill with the defence you already have so B.

Yes but those will just be bench fodders in a 5-4-1. Do you think I should go with A or B?

Do you need Ryan in there? You'd be playing Ederson constantly. AWB seems a given as a 4m starter.

Too much money spent on gk. Ederson + 4.0

Auba could easily outscore Kun by the end of season. First scorer last season given the minutes he played.

Yeah that was last season, no point looking at that it’s gone. All about this season and just look at the points both have made. Aguero has had operation over the summer and has now come back to his best. Auba under emery isn’t working but I would say if he scores this week he could very well pick his season up and score goals on a regular basis. All I’m saying is go with current form

In FPL you never know when a players starts to be in-form. I captained Kun when he was owned by less than 30% of teams and now 50% own him. All I am saying is that Auba could start being in-form on this gw... you need to be ahead of others...

In what conceivable way is AWB the "safe bet"? What he is, is an overdone FFS community bandwagon that no-one would have the slightest interest in were it not for the fact that he started the season at 4.0m and is one of only 2 current starting defenders at that level.

He has played 9 PL games in his entire career, in which he has averaged under 2.8 points per game, with 1 assist, 1 yellow and 1 red card. He plays for a team that will probably be average for CSs this season - not one of the best and not one of the worst. And that's it.

AWB is a decent bench defender because of his price. If he keeps his place long-term he could possibly be a rotation defender. And that's it. But thinking of selecting him over Shaw, or Jimenez, or Ings, or Josh King, or Pereyra (all of which I have seen recommended this week)? Senseless, unless you are very, very sure Palace will keep a CS. Because AWB is pretty unlikely to get more than appearance points otherwise. 😕

good points, thanks, yeah i brought him in originally as bench fodder, as most did, thats why he was on my bench gw1 !

Had a real issue with Richarlison and being able to transfer in a good replacement (had zip itb).

Read the hot topic on the congested fixture list for Liverpool and decided to transfer out Richarlison + Mané for Pedro + Mkhitaryan and 2.5 itb.

Transferring out Mané for a hit is surely the most stupid thing ever?

If it isn’t showing any then they might have played their wildcard.

Yeah always best to assess first like I definitely need 2 premium defenders though my backline is awful.

Ahaha I was proper tempted like but im gonna wait till after the deadline to do it just think during the international break we'll see a lot of injuries to FPL players and that i could end up with a few red flagged players before GW 5 even begins

I'm starting Ings as feel like it's either 0 min or ~70 min given the type of injury he has.

Is it worth doing Wilson and Fraser double up on WC? Means I can do Mane to Hazard next GW if needed.

    B) Bertrand (cry)
    C) Wilson (che)
    D) Stephens (FUL)

Neves. It’s only blisters the injury to Ings I believe but they have a few options up top Southampton and he may get benched
