Anyone know how accurate the RMT predictor in the Members section has been?

And are we all as doomed for GW7 and 8 as it shows?

GW7 & 8 is because of Pool facing Cheslea & City. It’s tough predict who scores points in those games. Although both could be high scoring as all 3 teams are attacking teams.

Use it as a guideline by all means but understand that it is a machine and incapable of certain nuance. Partly because I didn't get a membership is because I didn't want to be influenced by RMT numbers as I never found them to be of much use.

Ok thanks.does that mean If I’m on a wild card now the prices are frozen from when you activated it? Or do price drops/rises still occur for me? Just any transfers I make aren’t taken into consideration as to whether a players price rises or falls ? Never really took much notice of price drops until this season.

      1. MTPockets
        8 years, 11 days ago

Just means that any transfers made by people once they've hit the wildcard button don't count as transfers for purpose of overall price rises/falls. You're still subject to any price changes that happen.

I think BSilva is the problem...get rid this week or give him Fulham?…or would you do something else with this team……

    Pat. Hamer.
    VVD. Mendy. Alonso. Shaw. WB.

Not planning anything until next week as I don't believe I'll be priced out of any of the major moves but what would you be considering if you were me?

    Foster, Fab*
    Alonso, Robbo, Mendy, PVA*, Wan-B
    Salah, Mané, Mkhi*, Wally*, Hughes
    Aguero, Wilson, Kamara*

The *s are players I would be happy to see gone at some stage (PVA only because I have AWB anyway)

    A) Mkhi / Wally > Pedro / Maddison / Fraser (FT)
    B) Salah, Kamara > Hazard, Mitro (-4)
    C) Salah, Mkhi/ Wally > Hazard, Dilva (-4)
    D) Mané, Wally/ Mkhi > Hazard, Fraser (-4)
    E) Mkhi, Wally, PVA > Hazard, Billing, Bennett (-8)
    F) Fab > Hennessey/ McCarthy/ Patricio
    G) WC
    H) Nothing

Currently leaning towards A or D but spending way too much time thinking and is always good to get a rough idea of what the majority would do!

    Sorry for length of post!

I see. Don't worry about your E) or F) option, wait to change your gks when using your WC. I've had Fraser from the start and he's playing very offensively, I expect him to return som points the coming GWs. Mane + Wally > Hazard + Fraser might be the way to go

Maybe, but whou would Emery drop to get him back in? Mesut looked great at n. 10, and he likes Rambo, good at pressing. And then there is Laca & Auba, Pure class.

What match were you watching where Ozil looked great? He is pants and showed nothing imo. Admittedly Emery made a baffling comment at the end saying he was an important part of the team - but I just don't see it

Mkhi is far more of an active contributor imo

This. Also Emery had a proof of well Auba/Laca cooperation and still he wasn't convinced to start them both. Ozil and Ramsey did nothing. You just have to consider Cardiff game as a big failure.

Bilva, even if he plays there is no goal threat.

He has already scored tho. It wont be easy for Arsenal away to Newcastle. Benitez know how to set up his teams defensively, we saw that against City as well. City could easily win 4,5-0, and if Bilva starts he might be involved. Problem is I dont know if either of them starts.

        1. GianniBanani
          • 8 Years
          8 years, 12 days ago

I had the same problem and my thinking was that they have similar chance of start. Then i realized that Mkhi is way more threat than Bilva. Specially in closed game against Newcastle. Bilva will be rather behind the ball against open playing Fulham

Any of the scouters on wildcard this week?
I heard something about Joe/Jonty being on his, so I assume it will be on the next cast.

Joe's looking at GW6 according to latest tweets. Doubt Az is WCing with Maddison and Mitro in his side.

      General's hit the button though.

What to do with this team?

    Fabianski (Foster)
    Alonso, Mendy, Robertson (Wan-Bissaka) (Peltier)
Salah, Mane, Pedro, B. Silva (Stephens)
    Agüero (C), Ings, Zaha

Probably this week Zaha -> Mitrovic
Next week B. Silva and Ings -> Richarlison and Wilson.
    Or is this stupid?

    Thank you!

Why not Zaha > Wilson and then Richarlison and Mitro?

Same team as me except for Stephens. Would wait on Zaha news. Thinking of getting rid of B Silva also, see how he gets on this week. Are you for keeping all three pool players for their tough fixtures?

I think to rid B. Silva is more urgent than to rid a Liverpool player. Hazard has nice fixtures, but he trolled me a few times. It can also backfire when Salah or Mane will have a good day. I also have Pedro as Chelsea cover. Good luck to you!

What are people's predicted minutes for Salah and Mané over next few FPL fixtures GW5-8 given the schedule looks like this?

    A) 15/09: tot
    18/09: PSG (CL)
    B) 22/09: SOU
    25/09: CHE (EFL)
    C) 29/09: che
    03/10: nap (CL)
    D) 07/10: MCI

It is relentless and no easy games apart from possibly GW6 - how much minutes managing are we expecting for these two?

Selfish context is I am weighing up dropping Mané or holding...

Salah is key to how Liverpool tick throughout, mane more likely than Salah..

So you’re saying Mané more likely to be managed? I hope so (as considering dropping for Hazard) and with his form and chance creation/ conversion rate atm Klopp May look to capitalise on this and spread his impact across the fixtures

Who is that for? A combo of both each week? Do you think each will play similar mins? I’m starting to think (and hope) that Mané is likely to be spread more thinly across the fixtures

    Kepa
    Mendy, Robertson, Waz Bizniz
    Salah, Mane, Mhki, Bilva
    Aguero, King, Zaha

    Hamar, Bednarek, Peltier, Stephens

    A) Mhki and Bednarek to Alonso and Billing (4-3-3, Billing on bench)
    B) Bilva and Bednarek to Alonso and Billing.
    C) Robertson and Mhki to Alonso and Pedro.

Looks like a WC in GW 8 for me.

Just dont think I can fit Kane in without taking out Aguero.

My current plan too. However, I'd need to see signs of Kane firing before going through with it.

      Yes same.

Kane going to have to show some form though, at the moment Kun nailed in my team for the forseeable.

Kane has Cardiff at home that week right?

I'm going for WC in GW6 i think, but tempted to leave a bit of cash behind so Kane could be got in 2 moves.

Problem is Aguero still has BUR / SOU / whu / BOU from GW9-14. Even if he only starts 3 of those he could haul.

Spurs games much harder from 10 onwards.

How is this 3-4-3 WC -team looking?

    2x 4.5
Alonso - Mendy - Shaw (Bennet - AWB)
    Mane - Haz - Maddison - Schurrle (4.5mid)
    Kun - Lukaku - Wilson

    Lukaku and Schurrle being differentials.

Or just go 4-3-3, play Bennet or AWB every week and get Mitrovic in for Wilson and Hughes first on the bench.

get patricio + hamer and youll have an extra 0.5 to spend . would upgrade schurrle to maddison

    Wild card team looking like:

    Begovic
    Alonson - Mendy - Robertson
    Hazard - Mane - Moura - Pogba
    Ings - Wilson - Aguero

    Stek - Neves - Wan B - Bennett.

    £0.7m ITB

Now I've got this mad little idea that Ozil is going to turn it on and become a great differential over the next few GW's, so I am looking to shift out Lucas Moura for him. Only thing is I am £0.4m short. Do I need to dent my defence to get him in?

I hope your mad idea is right. I have Ozil stinking up my otherwise well-performing team. But I definitely wouldn't be bringing him in to replace someone who is playing well and is cheaper.
