    who do i play?

    Mitrovic vs. CITY
    Hughes vs. MUN
    Tarkowski vs. WOL
    Costa vs. BUR (H)

      A) and D) for me. I think Mitro is a pretty good shout to claim city's customary single goal allowed and Burnely are a bit of a mess atm so I'd fancy Costa as well

Crazy as it sounds, I'd play Mitro. Seems to be like Arnie - can score at any time against any team

How'd you rate this team ?

    Hennessey
    Alonso-Mendy-Doherty-AWB
    Hazard-Mane-Silva
    Aguero-Mitrovic-Lukaku

    Hamer-Billling-Bennett-DannyWard

Silva or Pedro is the big dilemma now!!!

Looking at it this way are we saying City will dominate as much this season? I went three city players at the start because last season they scored so highly the rotation didnt really matter. I have a feeling it wont be as big a gap this time round.
Also does this mean Arsenal finished in the bottom half 🙂

from an FPL perspective, I hope that the race for the title/top 4 is very tight and that this translates into less rotation of their key players.

Richarlison is nearly back now, so don't lose if you want him back.

Tosun to one of the firing forwards like Mitro/Wilson?

Wonder what's really happened with Sané. Surely he knows what he's signed up for under Pep? And last season is proof as to how well he works under him?

Although makes Mendy a fair bit safer with the current situation so I'm not complaining.

    1. APN
      • 7 Years

Sane's situation is due to Mendy returning from injury. Mendy is providing the width that Sane gave last season. I believe this to be a contributing factor. Again, maybe other reasons.

Scoutcast comment: A quiz is not an awful idea but it was FAR too complicated. Why have different scores for each category's? No need.

The idea of a forfeit is pathetic and actually made my toes curl. It's not an early 90s children's TV show.

The discussion and the meat of the Scoutcast was really quite decent. Gimmicks are to cover up weakness. Improve the chat and bring in new stuff slowly. The quiz really was done poorly, but could be made to work. But if I have to see Az eat a jar of coffee or something I may turn off for good. It's childish.

1 FT, 0 ITB. Pretty afraid to not own Alsono this week but I don't want to WC nor do I want to take a hit really after taking 12 points recklessly over the past 2 GW's. Best way to get him in if I was to hit though?

The problem is you need to play 4-3-3 everyweek and 2 of defender is 4.0. After Shaw is g2g, then its Bennett / AWB everyweek. I would never start with Hojeberg / Billing.

So its kind of meh to me

I agree, some comments are a bit snarky. While the site is a commercial enterprise, scoutcast is free to all and is ultimately just 4 blokes with day jobs rambling about fantasy football. It fills an hour in a boring part of my week, I get to hear some extra thoughts about FPL strategy for the coming week, and that's all I really need from it.

Anyone considering Ghezzel for 5.3 as a Maddison alternative?

Played 90 minutes against Liverpool in Mahrez's old position, has scored 2 goals in his last 2 games. Potentially sharing set pieces with Maddison. I personally can only afford a 5.9 or below mid this week and I'm very tempted to punt on him. Here's an opinionated article on him:

Vardy's return won't effect him if you're talking about minutes. His main contender right now is Pereria if he gets pushed up forward again. But doing that would mean starting Amartey at RB (Who's naturally a defensive midfielder)

Could be a decent Fraser alternative if his injury proves troublesome.
