    Which one to play?:

    A) Shaw
    B) AWB

Am playing Shaw and AWB first on the bench. Do you think Shaw is really playing?

This is my current setup but i am thinking what if both play? I believe AWB has more chances for clean sheet. And what if Shaw starts but he is not feeling well to complete the match because of his concussion? It could be a mistake to start him so early and risking for an early substitute..

AWB, Shaw won't play most likely because of his concussion.

Any Wolves fans who can clarify the long term nailedness of Bennett?

According to the line up lessons Dendoncker is a potential future risk:
    https://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2018/09/04/fpl-line-up-lessons-gameweek-4-part-two/
"What we learned: The threat posed by the versatile Dendoncker in central defence/midfield has yet to materialise, with Ryan Bennett – thought to be the player most at risk from the Belgian’s arrival – excelling at centre-half again."

Checking this article from101greatgoals.com it seems to be only a matter of time:
    https://www.101greatgoals.com/news/why-dendoncker-hasnt-wolves/
"It’ll take him a while to adapt because the standard and pace of the Premier League is very different to the Belgian league.
It might take him a little while longer to get up to the same physical level as the others.
But from what we’ve seen we think we’ve got a player who will help us in due course – once he’s settled in we think he’s really going to strengthen the group."

Not sure how accurate the above is but it sounds like Dendoncker is likely to be competition for for Bennet sometime soon but it is not clear when exactly this will be?

    1. MTPockets
      7 years, 11 months ago

Wolves forums seem to think it's a risk, but currently playing very well so would be undeserved.

Nobody really knows. Bennett has been one of our best defenders so far this season in my opinion, but his distribution isn't great. I don't think Dendoncker will be in the starting lineup for at least 3-4 more weeks, and even when he is introduced, it's not guaranteed that Bennett will be the one that will lose his place, it's anyone's guess really.

Thanks both, last WC decision is to either go with a 4.5/4.0 keeper combo and have a 4.5 defender instead of Bennett, currently on Doherty. Other option is to have Bennett and then a 4.5/4.5 keeper combo.

I would go the 4.5/4.5 keeper combo. If you have 4 other nailed defenders you're good. If you only have one playing keeper that will most likely hurt your ranking more...

Do we know anything new about Shaw?
Probably missing just one game week?
    Are u bringing him in?

Why bring in a guy who is perhaps missing out?

Might as well wait and see. A better question would be wether or not people are selling Shaw. If I had him, I wouldn't sell. But I wouldn't bother getting him in while being flagged

I feel like Jesus is being massively overlooked. Looks like he will get a good run of games for the next couple of fixtures. Perhaps it is because of Aguero getting all the attention, but I think there is merit in having both for the upcoming fixtures.

Jesus not worthy of lacing aguero boots imo

I look at this and he could do well but he’s expensive. With Salah hazard Aguero Alonso Mendy in favour then not easy to fit in

City has better fixtures than Chelsea. I truly believe that Jesus can outscore Hazard in the next three games. But that is, ofc. just my opinion. Not getting him my self. As I can't afford him nor Hazard at the moment. But he is definetely worth a shout in a freescoring city side

Jesus is a poor finisher. Has everything else going for him though, so maybe it'll come, but for now I'd avoid

It's not just him being overlooked. We have to consider Hazard/Salah/Mane before him in the midfield.

Then there is Aguero and Lukaku in the forward line, who appear more nailed on than Jesus.

He's a luxury no one can afford right now.

Can't believe im saying this. But Robbo.

Spurs will score at home. So your relying on Robbo's attacking returns. Rather rely on Bennet + AWB's CS potential this week solely.

      This'll end well

We know little about how Liverpool will cope with the bigger teams this year. If there are goals there's a fair chance he'll pick up an assist, if there aren't there's a chance of a clean sheet. Stating the obvious I know but with a fair chance at both ends I will not be benching

Given we're still left in the dark with Fraser, which option is best:

    A) Wally -> Pedro
    B) Fraser + Tosun -> Pedro + Wilson -4

Need to take the hit to fund Pedro if shipping Fraser

    1. Ha.
      • 11 Years

      A

You'll want to keep Fraser and Tosun has decent fixture. Tosun > Wilson next week.

Eddie Howe: “Ryan Fraser had a hamstring problem so has been working with our medical team since he returned here. Charlie Daniels picked up a niggle and we’ve not seen him during the international break. Kyle Taylor is back and fit which is a positive.”

I was absolutely convinced to drop Salah on my WC but I do like the look of this one:

    Ryan (Hamer)
    Mendy Alonso Tripper (WanB Bennett)
    Salah Hazard Maddison Pedro (Hojbjerg)
    Agüero Mitrovic Wilson
    0.2 itb

What do you think? Or would you drop Salah for Mané and perhaps get Vardy/Laca up front?

Really think I need hazard as my main rival got him in last gw. I've got mane and he's got hazard.

    Salah > Hazard FT
That would allow me to do this
    Mikhi> silva
    Fraser > rich (following gw)

Or should I just take a hit this week?
    Mane & Zaha > hazard & Deeney
    Mane & Robbo > hazard &(pereira/holebas)

Damn even I'm confused with all this moves I'm trying to do

What are the chances of Pedro playing? Or is he just another transfer waiting to happen

I'm considering doing Walcott > Pedro

I took him in this week. Great price, great team, great fixtures, great form. Yes he will prob miss a few minutes, but at that price in a top 6 club, with an attacking manager. I fell Pedro is golden atm

Would like to do that move as well, but would much rather wait to bring Richarlison back in for Walcott.

Should start this weekend for sure but you know there will be rotation so you just need to accept that before bringing him in.

he can score a goal anytime , think hell start this week as willian was bad and he scored the winning goal . i dont mind it if he gets 30 minutes though because hes always trying to score

Salah / Daniels to Hazard / Mendy ?

Current starting XI is as follows

    Hennessey
    Alonso | Mendy | Robbo | Chilwell
    Hazard | Mane | Fraser* | Walcott*
    Aubameyang | Aguero

    Hamer | Wan-Bissaka | Masuaku | Kamara

Weak bench, I know. Therefore i need advise regarding Fraser and Walcott doubts.

Have one free transfer available and the option of Wan-Bissaka to take the place of either of the above players.

Who do I transfer out and for who? and is taking both of those players out worth a hit?

One can only laugh at he hysteria and mayhem surrounding Fraser. I mean its Ryan **** Fraser, he must be the greatest 5.5 mid in history according to all the comments

It's more about being able to field 10 outfielders for most. And he's just the perfect 4th mid enabler atm.

This. But I think its partly because everyone is stretched thin with perhaps a few injuries and a few non playing bench fodder. I have the same feeling Jiminez possibly out and suddenly my team looks a lot weaker though really it isn't.

I get the occasional question about it. But every second comment is the same. People just need to read five comments above and they would have the answer. Just annoying to read the same thing over and over.

      And Maddison?
At least Fraser has the history stats.
I do agree though, hype can be a painful, boring read.

    Patricio
    Robertson Luiz Mendy
    Salah Bilva Mane Pedro
    Aguero Zaha King

    Hamer Wan-B Tomkins Masuaku

    2 FT, 0 ITB

    1. Bilva & Mane >> Hazard & Pereyra (then Pedro >> Rich next week)
    2. Hold (use a throwaway FT on something less important)

    Thanks.....
