Tottenham Hotspur take on Manchester City in the final match of Gameweek 10, with kick-off at Wembley at 20:00 GMT.

There are few major shocks in the respective line-ups, save for perhaps Christian Eriksen‘s (£9.2m) non-inclusion in the Spurs starting XI given that the Dane played 90 minutes of his side’s 2-2 draw with PSV last Wednesday.

Eriksen is joined on the home bench by the fit-again Dele Alli (£8.9m), who hasn’t featured since Gameweek 6.

Mauricio Pochettino has made only one alteration to his side from the team that beat West Ham United, with Mousa Dembele (£4.9m) replacing Harry Winks (£5.5m) in central midfield.

Kieran Trippier (£6.3m), Lucas Moura (£7.2m) and Harry Kane (£12.4m), the only three Spurs players to be owned by more than 10% of Fantasy Premier League managers, all start tonight.

Pep Guardiola has made two changes to his starting XI from the side that hammered Burnley last weekend, with Raheem Sterling (£11.1m) replacing Leroy Sane (£9.2m) on the left flank and Kyle Walker (£6.6m) ousting Vincent Kompany (£5.2m) in defence. John Stones (£5.3m) moves across to centre-half to acommodate Walker’s return at right-back.

Given the length of his lay-off, it is not a huge surprise to see Kevin De Bruyne (£9.8m) only named as a substitute by Guardiola this evening, particularly given the condition of the Wembley pitch following yesterday’s NFL game.

Sergio Aguero (£11.3m), the second-most-popular captaincy choice of Gameweek 10, starts for the tenth league match in a row.

City have recorded five clean sheets on the bounce in the Premier League and their defence has only been breached on one occasion – by Willy Boly’s controversial goal in Gameweek 3 – on the road this season.

Of the four players who scored in this fixture last season, only Sterling starts tonight.

Kane has only one home league goal to his name in 2018/19, despite Spurs facing Cardiff City and Fulham in two of the three Premier League fixtures to be contested at Wembley so far this season.

Spurs XI: Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies, Dier, Dembele, Sissoko, Lamela, Lucas, Kane.

Manchester City XI: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Laporte, Mendy, Fernandinho, Silva, Bernardo, Mahrez, Sterling, Aguero.

Really don't like Vardy - both him and Leicester well off form

Would switch to Arnie if fit, otherwise Murray

Mendy's dribbling style is pretty comical in all honesty.

I don't know, he always seems to be off balance to me. Perhaps this match is tainting my view of him though.

Who’s watched man city this year? First time watching and Mendy looks a really poor defender, great FPL asset.

    Long term, thoughts?

He's not great at defending but I could not care less. Amazing fantasy player and cheaper than Alonso.

Mahrez is looking more and more important for City's attacking play.
You can tell he has his mojo back - time to consider bringing him in, even at the price of odd benching.

I think Aguero isn't enough City coverage anymore. You need triple City. Their defence is spectacular and I wouldn't mind doubling up on it.

    1. Hulk Smash
      • 10 Years

Better going for Mendy, Aguero and a midfielder if tripling up. Defence offers a great mix of premium and value players this year and I don't see any City defenders other than Mendy getting regular attacking returns.
