Kenneth Tang’s Fantasy Premier League career history is nothing short of breathtaking.

A third of his 12 season finishes have been within the top 500 and a quarter within the top 200.

In total he has nine top 10,000 finishes and impressively almost broke into the top 100 during his first ever campaign, back in 2006/7.

In our latest Meet the Manager interview Kenneth reveals how close attention to the fixtures of the top six sides each year has been crucial to his success.

Wildcard timing is also vital, with his first of this season still to be played. Using his big-six fixture strategy he also explains why Gameweek 16 looks to be the optimum time to deploy this chip and ensure he marches up the overall rankings, perhaps even jettisoning his premium defence along the way.

As a veteran of FPL he explains how the advent of the second Wildcard saw the game change and forced him to tweak his strategy and planning.

The value of the eye test is also key for Kenneth. From his Hong Kong base he is able to regularly spend Saturday and Sunday nights watching matches, although with a new born baby this has not been as regular as previous campaigns.

The chat with Kenneth is available to view on Youtube here and in the embedded video below.

why is richarlison not flagged, when everywhere saying he was playing with injury and could be worse day after?

Protecting coming price rise by any chance before somebody flags him?

True, very much the preferred option. Matip won't get two games in a row, so it may very well be TAA-Gomez-VVD-Robbo for Fulham

Looks like a Robertson rest at the weekend allowing Moreno to play, Salah off at 60 mins for Shaqiri and a Firmino hat trick.

Robertson is playing tonight, why bother playing him against Fulham? Even Moreno is capable of playing that game. Liverpool 'B' team should be able to wipe the floor with Fulham. Might as well use the game to manage the minutes of the important players.

Wrong. Liverpool havn't been playing convincingly, they have a 2 week break. They will go full strength at HOME to fulham for the fans to lift the spirits after the dropped points vs Arsenal. They also need to improve their goal difference, Klopp will want a big win

Maybe, but Jurgen knows Robertson will probably play 180 mins for Scotland. So might protect him in advance of that.

    3. JasonG123
      • 12 Years

Sterling was actually directly on par with his xG and xA until the last game where this was blown out the water. Aguero does indeed have very strong xG and xA, but he's actually massively outperforming his xA.

Also note that his xG and xA per 90 minutes often doesn't tell the full story if he's constantly subbed at 60 minutes. It was interesting that he played 90 on the weekend - if he's over any injury and continues to play 90 then he really does become essential. With him playing 60 you can afford to go without and go with Salah, Hazard and Sterling instead.

    4. *sigh*
      • 14 Years
      7 years, 8 months ago

No doubt Sterling is in great form but I’m keeping away from City mids. With Salah and Hazard good captain options in midfield and Kun up top it gives my team a good balance. Haven’t had a captaincy fail yet between those three.
Aguero with Ederson and Mendy is the way to go for me.

No Shaqiri in the match day squad means that he may start vs Fulham. Are you bringing him in?

So. What does it all mean for Liverpool XI vs Fulham?

Best possible team in order to win after that defeat?

Or the likes of Robertson could be on the bench?

Nothing you want to change with one of 2FT? Or are you going for the "let one FT slide" achievement? Patricio has Arsenal, could swap him.

Well he has a tough fixture against Arsenal but after that he got some nice fixtures. I am unsure but I am thinking about it

Yes maybe but he has been good. Who would you replace him with? Fabianski?

Hey guys, bite the bullet, and take a hit for Mitro> Arnie here?

    Patrício
    Mendy, Robertson, Alonso,
    Hazard, Salah, Barkley, Richarlison, Fraser
    Mitrovic, Agüero

    Hamer, Wan-Bissaka, Kamara, Doherty

Need to conjure up 0.3 to do it. Or are there other fwds worth looking at?
