How Richarlison has adapted to centre-forward role at Everton

Richarlison (£6.9m) has made a mockery of recent suggestions that he cannot play as a centre-forward for Everton.

Two weeks ago we compared his first two performances in that position against his displays as a left attacking midfielder and discovered some discouraging results.

However, it appears both Richarlison and his manager Marco Silva were spurred on by the criticism. They stuck to their guns and persisted with the new role, and in the last two Gameweeks the Brazilian has registered two goals and an assist, averaging 10 points per game.

    Not much mention of Paterson on here for a Maddison replacement. Nailed on unlike Shaqiri. Doesn't play city next week unlike Anderson (double up with arnie doesn't sound fun). Has some good goal threat. Fixtures are good especially this week, it doesn't get much better bar Fulham/Burnley at home. Also frees up cash for flexibility with any issues that come from the latest round of internationals

    Really hoping for some advice...

    I did some 'interesting' to say the least transfer this week for a -8pt hit!!! (back on sunday even so propper crazy!)

    Mitrovic >>> Arnie

    Q. I can cancel the -8 using the 'free hit' chip and build a squad incorporating the likes of mane / salah / lacazette / vardy etc

    What should i do?

    A) Save - ive done them now and its best to stick - learn my lesson in future

    B) Cancel and create the best team possible for this GW in the hope of it not being a waste (reclaiming the -8pt hit)

    Your advice is greatly appreciated.

      Still not convinced tbh. His first goal was a counter-attack - he could have scored or assisted that playing on the left wing. His second goal was gifted to him by Dunk.

      FFS articles are just lazy journalism pieces now. Stats are being quoted to suit the narrative.

      "Crucially, he is spending more time in the penalty area itself. In his first two centre-forward displays, he averaged 5.5 touches there per match, but that has increased to 6.0 per match from Gameweek 10 onwards."

      Like, an extra half a touch in the penalty area means he's now an option... seriously?
