How Richarlison has adapted to centre-forward role at Everton

Richarlison (£6.9m) has made a mockery of recent suggestions that he cannot play as a centre-forward for Everton.

Two weeks ago we compared his first two performances in that position against his displays as a left attacking midfielder and discovered some discouraging results.

However, it appears both Richarlison and his manager Marco Silva were spurred on by the criticism. They stuck to their guns and persisted with the new role, and in the last two Gameweeks the Brazilian has registered two goals and an assist, averaging 10 points per game.

    Do you think Sarri even knows that Everton is Barkley's former club? I'm no man manager but surely having a player up against his former club is a sure fire way of knowing he's going to be motivated to do well.

    Maybe foreign managers don't put much stock in that, or maybe he considers Barkley wouldn't handle the situation well? Bit annoying if he doesn't start as this game was one of the main reasons for me buying him.
