Starts for Liverpool’s most-owned FPL assets – as well as Shaqiri

A busy Sunday afternoon of Premier League football gets underway at 12:00 GMT, with Liverpool taking on Fulham at Anfield.

This game, for many Fantasy managers, is perhaps the most eagerly anticipated fixture of the weekend, with those who own Liverpool assets hoping that Slavisa Jokanovic’s side continue their woeful defensive form as they visit Anfield.

The Cottagers are the only Premier League club yet to record a clean sheet in 2018/19 and the west London side have conceded more goals (29) than any of their divisional rivals.

There were no major shocks on the release of the Liverpool teamsheet, with Sadio Mane (£9.9m), Mohamed Salah (£13.0m), Roberto Firmino (£9.2m), Alisson (£5.7m), Andrew Robertson (£6.4m) and Virgil van Dijk (£6.0m) – all of whom have double-digit ownership – named among Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (£5.0m) lines up at right-back, too, confounding fears he might be rested for this encounter after two somewhat below-par performances against Arsenal and Red Star.

Xherdan Shaqiri (£7.0m) joins the Liverpool attack in what looks like a 4-2-3-1 formation, which could see Salah used as the spearhead – as he was against Cardiff City in Gameweek 10 and in the second half of Tuesday’s defeat in Belgrade.

The Swiss midfielder has delivered three assists in his two league starts for Liverpool this season and came off the bench to score in that win over Neil Warnock’s side a fortnight ago.

Mane and Salah are averaging 8.0 and 8.4 FPL points per fixture at Anfield this season.

Mane has been the more explosive of the pair in 2018/19, delivering four double-digit hauls to Salah’s one, though the Senegal international has blanked in six of his ten league appearances this campaign.

Salah is the most-captained player of Gameweek 12, with Mane and Firmino the fifth and seventh-most popular options respectively.

Jokanovic has made three changes to his Fulham starting XI from the side that slumped to defeat at Huddersfield last Monday: Cyrus Christie (£4.2m), Alfie Mawson (£4.9m) and Calum Chambers (£4.2m) come into the team at the expense of Timothy Fosu-Mensah (£4.5m), Jean Michael Seri (£5.3m) and Luciano Vietto (£5.5m).

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Shaqiri, Salah, Mane, Firmino.

Fulham XI: Rico, Christie, Chambers, Le Marchand, Mawson, Odoi, Anguissa, Cairney, Sessegnon, Schurrle, Mitrovic.

Looks like Fraser 6 pointer is staying on the bench unless Mendy or Kun don't turn up... will gladly take the TV & future points

I think Wilson or Arnautovic definitely have to go, due to the upcoming fixtures.

Quite like the look of rotating Digne with Doherty.
