The final match of Gameweek 13 takes place this evening between Burnley and Newcastle United, with kick-off at Turf Moor delayed by half an hour to 20:30 GMT because of a “medical emergency” at the ground.

This fixture will be of limited interest to many Fantasy managers, with not a single player on show owned by more than 10% of us.

Joe Hart (£4.5m) boasts the highest ownership of the Fantasy Premier League assets featuring this evening, sitting in 9.0% of squads.

The former Manchester City goalkeeper comes into this match off the back of a 10-point haul against Leicester City in Gameweek 13, having kept a clean sheet at the King Power Stadium and topped up his returns with save and bonus points.

No Premier League goalkeeper has made more saves than Hart this season.

Both of Burnley’s most-owned outfielders, James Tarkowski (£4.8m) and Johann Berg Gudmundsson (£6.0m) miss out through injury tonight.

Only three FPL midfielders have registered more assists than Gudmundsson this season, with the Iceland international a particular menace at set plays – so Robbie Brady (£5.4m) would seem likely to play a more prominent role at free-kicks and corners tonight.

That could be significant given that Newcastle have conceded more attempts from dead-ball situations than any other side in 2018/19.

The Magpies come into this fixture off the back of a three-match unbeaten run and successive wins over top-half opposition in Watford and Bournemouth.

Three of the four clean sheets that Rafael Benitez’s side has registered this season have come away from home.

Newcastle are without regular left-back Paul Dummett (£4.4m), however, who misses out with a hamstring problem. Ciaran Clark (£4.5m) fills in for the sidelined Wales international in Benitez’s only change.

Jonjo Shelvey (£5.3m) is back among the substitutes after recovering from injury, though Jamaal Lascelles (£4.7m) and Yoshinori Muto (£5.7m) miss out.

Salomon Rondon (£5.7m), fresh from a brace against Bournemouth, leads the line for the Magpies once more.

Chris Wood (£6.2m) and Sam Vokes (£5.3m) are paired up front again by Sean Dyche, who has Steven Defour (£5.4m) fit and available to start in central midfield.

Burnley XI: Hart; Lowton, Mee, Long, Taylor; Lennon, Defour, Cork, Brady; Vokes, Wood.

Newcastle United XI: Dubravka; Yedlin, Schar, Fernandez, Clark; Diame, Ki; Ritchie, Perez, Kenedy; Rondon.

He was fine towards end of game. I think he scores 2 sets up 1 v Fulham, possibly more. Long overdue a thunderous haul of points. Fulham just conceded 2 at home to Southampton.

      Nice one.
      My prayers where less impressive.
I needed the average to stay at 47 to draw in my h2h.
The draw will either put me top of my cash h2h or in a better position overall.
That Monday was so insignificant I believe 47 is the same average points as yesterday's.

I think it should stay at 47 as most people were all out on Sunday.

    2. Digital-Real

Dilva ceiling is 6-8pts. Sane is 6-14pts.

the extra 0.7m gets you roughly 6pts more.

Ok you're the book keeper..I like Silva personally.

        1. Digital-Real
          • 9 Years
          7 years, 5 months ago

great to watch, tactic seems to be for Silva to surprise teams and get in the box early and score. He then drops deeper and doesn't get in the box too often.

Just from an FPL POV Sane will likely get more goals and assists.

      2. CloudSky
        • 9 Years
        7 years, 5 months ago

Dilva scored more than 8 5 times this year. So in almost 50% of his matches. How is that his ceiling?

Everyone is clambering to get these players in and Spurs players whether they have WC left or not, so am tempted to get them in using transfers/a few hits like everyone else, then using WC for GW20 to then gain an advantage.

Schurrle maybe? Tricky price point. Gudmundsson looks great for $6m. Brooks at $5.1m looks like the best bang for the buck.

Not exactly a shocker. You somewhat deserved it one could argue

They had not won in three straight matches before the game yesterday, and are not known for scoring goals. Jimenez is a good value pick, but not anywhere near a good captain pick

Thought Wolves would win that one well, hindsight is great. Same could be said for Richarlison and he topped the poll!

Nothing to do with hindsight. Jimenez will never be a good captain pick. No way. You cant justify it. Would have told you the same.before the gw started and will tell you the same for the rest of the season.

He cant even be compared to Rich who yes, topped he poll. Didnt even consider either one of them and I have both. Saying rich was a BAD captaincy pick is more of a hindsigt statement

Richarlison was an equally inexplicable captain pick. I was sure you wouldn't keep the armband on Jimenez in the end as it was such an obviously punty choice. In the end you were somewhat lucky since Aguero blanked for example, but Jimenez has never been a pure goalscorer, or a good finisher for that matter. Although he does get in good positions and he's good value in the game. But he's nowhere near consistent or predictable enough for a captain pick (neither is Richarlison of course).

True that mate, but was very surprised that Hud won that two nil! You had a poor enough GW mate unfortunatley, Sterling being the difference for me from crappy to ok after my -8 which worked out very well!

It's all right, getting AWB's points off the bench was an unexpected silver lining! And yes, your hit for Sterling worked out great, although of course it would've worked even better if you'd waited until the end of the IB and got someone other than Jonny 😉

Whoever I'd have gotten in will be bench fodder most weeks anyway so unlikely to make a huge difference, although I see Jonny has dropped in price so there is that 🙁

But another transfer downog the line.. free tansfers are limited.. you get one every week. Dont waste them on one week punts unless your going to wildcard the week after

So who to captain. This is my dilemma. If Sterling/Aguero starts tomorrow i think theywill be benched against Bournemouth and my captain will be Salah.

If Sterling starts from bench he is my C.

And if Aguero starts from bench i will buy him for 1 week punt instead Lacazete and then sold him for Kane in GW 15.

    This looks fine right?

Jesus did not travel to France. Aguero will start.

But yes, go with Sterling if he plays less than 60 mins

Why would Sterling/Aguero be benched if they start tomorrow? When is the last time both Sterling AND Aguero were benched together?

Cause now began december and in december are a lot of games. After Bornemouth game they play in midweek and than vs Chelsea in London.

His point was that one of them might be rested or play fewer minutes. Especially Aguero as Jesus did not travel. He never said both would be benched but that Salah could be aa safer option which is a fair point imo

Monitor the haz situation and Sterlings minutes midweek. Haz to Sterling could be on the cards

Yep, good advice. I realised the other day I could afford Haz > Sterling if I needed it. Which made me happy.

Experienced Haz owner here though. He'll troll me with a hatrick the minute I sell him
