a stat:
kane 12.5mil, 16 starts, 6 non penalties.
ings 5.4mil, 11 starts, 5 non penalties.

i had kane for burnley, tonnes of other people have kane with those fixtures and aguero getting injured.

i cannot justify that 7mil (7mil!!!!) extra for the same output, 7mil that means i've got tom cairney instead of eden hazard

Longer term looks the best way to go as part of the uber cheap frontline such as Ings-Jiminez-Kamara Not sure right now with two nice fixs followed by two tough ones and the fact the matches come thick and fast given his fitness record.

I had him before the injury and just got rid of Laca this week to bring him back in. With some of the sprints he was putting in to try and close down the ball, I didn't see any signs of a hamstring problem. With the more attacking philosophy of the new manager, I expect good things.

If he stays fit, I'm sure he will be tremendous value. But a couple of tough fixtures coming up, so may wait a few weeks.

IMO he's a fantastic option. I think I'm right in saying only Kane, Aguero, Aubameyang, Wilson and Vardy amongst forwards have a better xG so far this season, which is pretty impressive when you consider how bad Southampton have been.

I worry about Rashford rotation, but there is a chance the new interim manager will find a way to play them both with Lukaku.

I'm looking forward to Matic being dropped so we get more dynamism in midfield. Should help transitioning out of defence and keeping possession more.

is obvious to now say martial and pogba, but martial was a starter even under mourinho by the end, only missed out recently due to injury set-back. pogba for sure, but he may have lost pens to martial, still a wait and see imo, so many other good mids right now that 5 spots is no way near enough, e.g i'm cursing myself for not selling fraser and richarlison for snodgrass or felipe anderson, fraser and richarlison are great options!

rashford am only interested if he becomes the #9 ahead of lukaku. thought a couple of months ago was no one will give lukaku as much gametime as mourinho did, but then even he dropped him recently. think winger rashford will always flatter to deceive, for every fulham haul there are at least 1 or 2 frustrating 2 pointers
