There is a whole of options for the captain’s armband in Gameweek 18 and now you can cast your vote in the latest poll below.

Manchester City’s home match against Crystal Palace instantly looks like one fixture to target with the defending Premier League champions so dominant at home.

Leroy Sané (£9.6m), Raheem Sterling (£11.6m) and Sergio Aguero (£11.2m) are expected to be the most backed Citizens given their form at the Etihad Stadium this season.

Those perhaps unwilling to risk a ticket for ‘Pep Guardiola Roulette’ might look to Tottenham’s Sunday afternoon trip to face Everton.

Harry Kane (£12.6m) may have been sluggish against Burnley but the Toffees are without a clean sheet since Gameweek 13, while the Spurs forward netted a brace amid criticism from Fantasy managers at Goodison Park last season.

Christian Eriksen (£9.3m) and Son Heung-min (£8.5m) may also be considered by anyone with little faith in Marco Silva’s defence.

A return to a more familiar attacking style for Liverpool in their 3-1 win over Manchester United may reinvigorate support for Mohamed Salah (£13.1m) and his colleagues.

Elsewhere, an in-form Eden Hazard (£11.0m) hosts a Leicester City side without a clean sheet on the road since Gameweek 11.

Arsenal are the outfit hosting the obliging Burnley defence in Gameweek 18 but it will be interesting to see how much the disappointing scores of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.5m) and Alexander Lacazette (£9.6m), combined with the Clarets’ tight display against Spurs, will affect their share of this week’s vote.

    Fabianski - Button

    Salah - Hazard - Richarlison - Fraser - Masuaku
    Kane - Wilson - Success

    Pogba £7.8
    Martial £7.3
    Rashford £6.9
    Lingard £6.7
    Mata £6.2

These cheap prices just show how pathetic Manchester United are as a football club. FPL priced them in the dirt where they deserve to be. However, if these boys can learn how to start playing attacking football we can all take advantage of their cheap prices. But that's a big if of course, so I won't be buying ANY of their players until they can prove they're capable of sticking the ball in the net more than twice in 90 minutes. If Carrick takes over for the rest of the season then he will just setup the same way that Mourinho did. Hopefully they continue to have a terrible year in 2019 and FPL price them like scum again in the summer before a new manager takes over.

8m was fair for Pogba and all of the others were/are rotation risks. Don't think any of them were underpriced tbh.

Harsh first sentence they are a great club but a source of great entertainment last few years. Martial, Pogba, Lukaku could all improve massively in terms of FPL points- lets hope they can fight for top 4 now. Good riddance Jose tbh for the sake of United

What a ridiculously stupid opening sentence?

      Ozil 8.1
      Ramsey 7.2
      Mkhi 6.7
      Iwobi 5.5
      Torreira 5.1

These prices are cheaper... Does this make Arsenal a pathetic football club who are priced in the dirt where they deserve to be?

      Really don't understand your point.

personal reading of the man city vs everton match was sane looked very leggy in that match, how often did he burst in behind, dribble, embark on one of his trademark long sprints etc? when he did need to sprint i thought he looked a yard slower than his extreme norm.
point being here i don't think it was at all unusual, throw in the 2 germany games and he's played a crazy amount of football lately, the amount where pep surely ideally wanted to rest him. my theory here is pep started him despite being in the red zone because he is so important right now. they can live without sterling as mahrez is sensational too, maybe he feels they can't live without sane. the trade-off being sane adapted his game imo, was more of a wide david silva or wide kdb performance, more holding back and creative and less sprinty/dribbley/burst in behindy!

long story short, although wasn't ideal to see him a bit leggy was great to see him starting yet again while sterling had his 2nd rest in 3 games in comparison (makes sense, mahrez is a wonderful productive player too).

I posted this 21hours ago and todays events comes as no surprise

    “Jose Jose Jose - Turmoil

Clearly issues and lack of trust at Manchester United

With next four fixtures quickly coming up, it should be about what Man U players to keep or get in.

When in the past has there been such little discussion on here about United, whenever they have had such amazing fixtures approaching.

Jose’s stock has plummeted - time for someone new at United. New board New coaching staff, new players
    It’s time to build again.”

The caretaker-manager to replace Mourinho, who took over from Louis van Gaal in May 2016, will not be assistant coach Michael Carrick or academy boss Nicky Butt.

The candidate will be drawn from outside the club, but will not be former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

I never liked Mourinho but he is a very good coach. He made mistakes and couldn't manage his players. What i saw these 3 years is that Mourinho tried and worked hard to make ManUtd better, the players didn't.With these players though he couldn't achieve something special. You can't win the league with childish behaviour from Pogba and Lingard and with the poor quality of Herrera, Jones, Lindelof and Smalling. One league cup, community shield and the Europa are still a success imo.

take this season for example, utd have no chance of winning the europa league because (1) mourinho finished top 4 last season and (2) they finished 2nd instead of third in their CL group. so because they didn't fail enough in either case they can't win the europa league (beating relatively lame teams like anderlecht, celta vigo and ajax). it's a silly trophy for 'big club' imo, as is the league cup, well done for scraping past southamtpon in the final.
liverpool's CL final last season was three times the achievement of either of those, and that's ignoring the style of the football where mourinho is borderline criminal. personally i think he lost the dressing room and should have been sacked after the 0-0 at anfield last season, that was the match where he effectively told his squad they are not capable of challenging for proper trophy

as in if mourinho got the same finishes and trophies (or lack of them) at tottenham?

i'd consider it a bit more of a success as in relative terms tottenham are not as a 'big' a club, or at least haven't spent the obscene amount of money that utd have.

but no, if mourinho did what he at man utd with tottenham last 2 and a half seasons i think it would be less of a success than what poch has achieved there.

At the end of the day, both Wenger and Mourinho had both regressed massively and were at the worst stages of their career, and yet they still Wenger won 3 FA.Cups and Mourinho won the Europa League/League Cup, Poch/Klopp still haven't won anything ...

Zidane has proven he can control big egos. And managing Pogba will be one of the biggest challenges of the job. He's someone the players will respect.

This^ Pogba strikes me as the kind of person who would think "You were a crap footballer had can you tell me how to play". Zidane was one of the best so this argument won't wash under him.

    Fabianski
    Doherty Alonso Robertson (Digne AWB)
    Salah Sterling Richarlison Fraser (Hojbjerg)
    Wilson Kane Jimenez

    2 FT and 0.2 ITB.

Thinking Sterling & Fraser to Sane & Felipe Anderson?

Who would realistically be a good fit for Man Utd job right now?

Zidane need world class players and there are basically none at Utd atm, Poch needs serious organisation and board. On the other hand, I think Conte could work something out with this squad

11.6 mins per point is a far cry from washed up. Kun has been performing well at home. However, he only has three home matches to CRY, LIV, and WOL over the next seven matches.

Thinking of replacing Jota or Madisson from my draft midfield.

Would you replace any of them for one of these:
    a)Willian
    b)Lindgard
    c)Paterson
    d)Alexis sanchez
    e)Deulofeu

time to take a chance with utd?

Jota just seems to be hitting some form, I'd be reluctant to switch him out. Madisson is currently probably better than the other options but keen an eye on B & D.

    Morning peeps,

Relatively mediocre gameweek with 59 pts.

    Would really appreciate some advice on the below team;

    Ederson
    Laporte Alonso TAA(!)
    F Anderson Hazard Fraser Richarlison
    Aub(c) Kane Jimenez

    Hamer Bennett Wan-Bisakka Hojbjerg

    2 FT & 0.4 ITB.

Ideally would want to bring in Sane but want to keep Aub for his easy GW.

    Thanks in advance.

Than i don't see any way to get City attack.

I guess it´s more sensible to do it like this. Is it time to wild card?

    Robbo Doherty Alonso AWB Kola
    Haz Salah Fraser Son Billing
    Auba Wilson Success

    Needs City attack desperately.
