Thoughts on de bruyne in for martial to try and get ahead of the curve? Have pogba and no city currently

Nah too risky with how good Silva is and how well Bernardo Silva is playing

Hey guys, 2 FT and 0.7 ITB. Looking to do Hart & Ings > Arnie and cheap GK but am short of funds. Patricio has City away so a new GK seems crucial. Any thoughts on these options?

    A - Hart & Jiminez > Gunn & Arnie
    B - Hart > Heaton and save 1 FT

Is Gunn risky in that if McCarthy plays in the FA Cup and does well could take the gloves back?

    Hart - Patricio
    Robbo - Shaw - Digne - Doherty - AWB
    Salah - Son - Pogba - Rich - McArthur
    Kane - Jiminez - Ings

How would you work Salah into this team? I have 1FT and 1.2ITB.

    Fabs (Hamer)

Digne - Alonso - Robertson (Bennett, AWB)

Pogba - Son - Richarlison - Anderson (Deulofeu)

    Rashford - Auba - Kane

It would however I have twice gone to take them out and they go and haul! So i’m reluctant to do that....

Very similiar tomine. I decided to go one more week Salahless. Reason is simple do you think that Salah+Kamara will outscore Auba+Rich/Anderson this week? I dont think so

Why am I seeing so many Doherty and Digne appearances in wildcards but no Pereira who offers genuine prospects of clean sheets.

      Is it short term fixtures?

    2. AuFeld

Fixtures are putting him off. AWB can cover GW24-26 if you wanted to bench him. Personally, I may take a hit to bring him in.

    3. FPLHaggis
      • 11 Years
      7 years, 6 months ago

With these 3 and the addition of TAA, we are a little bit spoilt at this price point. I agree that Periera is a nice option - practically playing as a 10 at times

    4. fenixri
      • 10 Years
      7 years, 6 months ago

Because attacking returns. CS are rarity, and it is so easy to concede even in easy fixture with 3-0 lead.

  6. Toby Lerone

Digne vs BOU, Sane vs Wolves, and Snodgrass vs ARS are all good matches for returns. I think it's going to be difficult to cover the -4 this week.

Thoughts on these moves lads? Current side below:

    Button
    Alonso Robbo AWB
    Son Pogba Rich Snoddy
    Kane Auba Rash
    (Pat, Doch Shaw Kenedy)
    2FT 3.5itb

    Robbo & Son > TAA & Salah

Can follow up with Kenedy & Auba > Sane & Jimmy the following week(s)

Looking at this move for GW23:

Son, Mitro, Auba >> Salah, Arnie, Jiminez -4

Would give me a team of:

    Fabianski,
    Luiz, Doherty, Digne
    Sane, Salah, Hazard, Pogba, Anderson
    Rashford, Arnie

    Button, Jiminez, Schindler, AWB

According to https://www.anewpla.net/fpl/report-test/index.php my captains have gotten 71.59 % of the highest possible captain points. I'm actually quite happy with that, but is it any good? What do your scores look like?

    Ederson Button

So I’m stuck between a couple of ideas

    Back line stays the same:

    Fabs Button
    Robbo Digne Taa Doherty Bennett

But mids/forwards could be 1 of the three below

    1
    Haz* Salah Eriksen* Sané Pogs
    Kamara* Arnie Jimmy*

    2
    Brooks/Kante* Salah Rich* Sané Pogs
    Kane* Arnie Jimmy*

    3
    Fraser/6.9 Salah Rich Sané Pogs
    Kamara Arnie Kane

    Any thoughts?

It's like people have forgotten that Alonso is the defender with the best return this season. Looks like everybody is selling him for every week that goes

This game’s not about past returns. Would be easy if it was

Not worth your WC in my eyes. I just got rid of Fab for Guaita - which lets you upgrade elsewhere with the extra money and your 1.0 ITB
