The first of two Premier League matches on Sunday kicks off at 14:15 GMT, as Everton entertain Bournemouth at Goodison Park.

The Cherries had injury doubts over three of their attack-minded players coming into this fixture, though Ryan Fraser and Joshua King have recovered from injury and illness respectively to take their places in Eddie Howe’s starting XI.

Callum Wilson, however, misses out with a hamstring strain.

Bournemouth’s teamsheet showed Fraser and King being joined by Junior Stanislas in a front three, with David Brooks stationed in a more withdrawn position in central midfield.

Dan Gosling has shaken off a knock to feature, while there is an unexpected return for Adam Smith too – the full-back had been anticipated to be absent until February.

Nathaniel Clyne gets his first league start for Bournemouth at right-back.

Richarlison is back up front for the hosts this afternoon, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin dropping to the bench.

Ademola Lookman and Bernard, who both scored in the 2-1 win over Lincoln City last weekend, will provide the width on the flanks, as Theo Walcott takes his place among the Everton substitutes for the first time since Gameweek 17.

Gylfi Sigurdsson lines up in his customary “number ten” role.

Seamus Coleman is reinstated at right-back after missing the Toffees’ last league match, with Lucas Digne returning at left-back after a breather in the FA Cup.

Yerry Mina is the fall guy at centre-back as Kurt Zouma is paired with Michael Keane.

If the form book is anything to go by, then this fixture ought to have goals: Everton haven’t kept a clean sheet since Gameweek 13 (only Manchester City are on such a bad run), while Bournemouth had conceded more goals than any other Premier League side (22) in the eight Gameweeks preceding this one.

The two sides indeed shared four goals in the reverse fixture in Gameweek 3, with Walcott, Keane, King and Nathan Ake on target.

Richarlison was sent off in the very same game.

Wilson registered two assists that day and the Cherries may miss the talismanic England striker this afternoon: the third-most-owned forward in FPL has been directly involved in 17 (nine goals, eight assists) of Bournemouth’s 31 league strikes this season.

Everton XI (4-2-3-1): Pickford, Coleman, Keane, Zouma, Digne, Gueye, Gomes, Lookman, Sigurdsson, Bernard, Richarlison.

Bournemouth XI (4-3-3): Begovic, Clyne, Ake, S. Cook, Smith, Gosling, Lerma, Brooks, Stanislas, King, Fraser.

Son replacement upto 6.9. Who do you reckon?

Was dubiously going for Richarlison. But Everton not looking good.
Will Lucas Moura take his place?

Moura will probably get a good bit of game time yes

Mid priced midfield differentials for the mid-long term.

I'm looking for a midfielder for 6.1m or less.

I've looked at Deulofeo (5.5m) and although his fixtures are mainly a nice blue on the ticker, I think if you look into them more they aren't that great. BUR, tot, bha, EVE, car, liv. Burnley have tightened up, Spurs, Brighton and Liverpool away are all tough game and even Cardiff isn't the easiest fixture away from home. Everton at home does look nice.

Brooks (5.1m) & Fraser (6.1m) don't have very good fixtures and I feel they aren't really a differential with many active managers already owning them.

I know Nasri (5.5m) is the flavour of the weekend and may be a decent option. He was very composed against Arsenal but may have questions over his minutes. But is he just another Snodgrass trap "trying" to cover Anderson rather than a good pick in his own right?

Jota (5.9m) looked like he started to play well before his injury, registering two goals and two assist in 2.5 games before coming off injured. Is he likely to go straight back into the squad? He could be worth a punt with some great upcoming fixtures?

Not very sexy but the Southampton lads Redmond (5.2m) and Armstrong (5.1m) have great fixtures and a nice price. But can we trust the Saints? Redmond has flattered to deceive in the past, is there anything different here? If the Saints are worth a punt, which one of the two look the better pick?

Any thoughts on good options for this spot would be much appreciated.

Camarasa and upgrade elsewhere. That’s assuming this is for a fifth mid?

No it’s a fourth mid. I wouldbt ever buy these types of players for a 5th mid to not play most weeks and would, as you say rather have Camarasa and extra funds free.

Harvey Barnes 5.5m from GW27 if he can win a starting spot, but even then it'd be a massive punt

Brooks and Fraser still best IMO. Bournemouth still attack in bad fixtures as they can't defend

Yes this is a fair point. I don’t know why I’m just really not “feeling” them even though all logic says they are good picks.

    4. Deulofail
      • 10 Years
      7 years, 6 months ago

I would personally want to avoid this price range entirely right now. Fraser is the best long-term option and could still perform against tough opponents, though would be good to bench him where possible. Nasri could be a decent punt, and probably the one I'd go for right now if I had to.

I agree it’s not a great price range to look at. Nasri’s is certainly intriguing, I just worry with such a long lay off how big a risk of injury or ‘knock’s he may be.

Fraser & Nasri look decent... Brooks always seems to register on the eye test. Not a fan of Deulofeu, he is a strange little man :

It was an open question about whether you should think about it for your team and I should think about it for mine. So collectively, ‘we’ is correct. Good attempt at humour though fella

So your question was only directed at fellow Richarlison owners? which would exclude me from offering my opinion.

I am sorry if i offended you in anyway but you see where i was coming from.

To answer the Richarlison question well then i think it is about how much value you have tied up in him.If you got him on the cheep i would keep considering he is oop and even if he is not scoring freely still offers good value. On the other hand if you do not have much value tied up in him i would sell for someone else.

    Stat of the day:

Mo Salah now has more FPL clean sheet points than David de Gea, despite playing at the opposite end of the pitch.

    - Liverpool have 13 CS this season = 13 points for Salah
    - United have 3 CS this season = 12 points for de Gea
