We are delighted to introduce a new article to Fantasy Football Scout to help collect our community’s thoughts on the biggest talking points in Fantasy Premier League.

Each week we will create a Google Form for you to submit a poll and some options for fellow Fantasy Football Scout users to vote on.

We will pick the best ones and publish them in an article later in the week.

For example, you could submit something as simple as ‘Should I sell Mohamed Salah’ with the options of ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.

Or alternatively, you could submit something with a bit more detail like ‘When is the right time to sell Mohamed Salah’ with potential options of ‘Gameweek 30’, ‘Gameweek 31’, ‘Gameweek 32’, ‘Gameweek 33’ or ‘Gameweek 34’.

Maybe you’d like to find out what the consensus is on the best Liverpool triple-up, you could submit options such as ‘one defender, two midfielders’, ‘two defenders, one midfielder’, ‘three defenders’ and ‘one defender, one midfielder and one forward’.

We are looking forward to seeing what subjects you would like to collect votes on and hopefully, this article can help canvas opinion on each Gameweek’s key talking points.

    My actual team in FPL:

    Fabianski
    VVD Pereira Robertson
    pogba son salah f.anderson
    Auba - rondon - jimenez

    etherdige - lascelles - doherty - billing

    FT:2
    ItB:1.3

How to use the FT in GW30 for GW31?

    GW30: son + auba --> hazard vardy?
    GE31: doherty --> rice

    or

GW30 auba doherty --> rice vardy
    GW31: son --> hazard

    thanks

I'm in a very similar situation whether to bring in Hazard this week or next week for Son.

I think I'm going for GW31 and doing Shaw & Jiminez > TAA & King

i think that i can do 2 FT today or one.
        and in GW31 1 or 2 free....

the problem is game GW30, GW31 and have a team for GW32

Which combination out of these :

    A. Arnie,Brooks,Clyne, Boruc
    B. King,Brooks, Rice, Boruc
    C. King, Snodgrass, Clyne, Boruc

I already own Clyne and Boruc and wondering who to get in place of Jimenez and CHO. If I were to double up on BOU attack, I'd need to change Clyne into another defender - tempted with Rice.

King. Should start all games, likely on pens. Wilson’s a great option but doubts around how much game time he will get immediately after coming back from injury.

This. It's not a question of starts, it's a question of minutes on the pitch: he's been out for 8 games, no way he gets rushed back

      Neither

That Chelsea win is countered by their 2-0 loss to Cardiff. 3/4 goals for the team in the next 3 matches seems quite plausible to me.

I like your logic. I personally think Liverpool are more suited to chasing than leading, Salah could do it this week. Mane back to the left with Firmino up top, I'm going Salah. TAA tempted me though!

Is it worth a -12 to do these moves?

    Sterling + Son + Kamara + Bennett + Etheridge > Brooks + Maddison + Higuain + Azpi + Boruc.

    Let's me have 11 players in gw 31 & 33 with FH 32.

Currently have the following team for 31:

    Robbo TAA
    Salah Hazard
    Rondon Barnes

I'm absolutely sick of owning double Wolves defense (Patricio and Doherty). I will admit Doherty's attacking threat has been nice with the odd assist/goal over the season.

Their next run of fixtures are very ugly (che BLANK bur/UTD BLANK).

Having said that, worth a hit to remove both and set up for 31/33?

    Patricio + Doherty > Boruc + Luiz (-4 HIT)

Playing away to Arsenal, in a deeper position, with a depleted team. If Matic is declared fit then this may change. Don’t let ownership cloud your judgment.

        1. No Kane No Gain
          • 7 Years

          still madness.

Firstly, arsenal can concede goals for fun and in such a big game with pogba not playing PSG he could be fresh to make big runs even playing deeper.

He can still pick out a good pass.

          Takes penalties.

Only needs one good run to get a goal and that might be all it takes.

United not winning could result in him pushed upfield near the end.

Nothing to do with ownership, i think your decision is crazy.

Don't let 1 game cloud your judgement, united were losing for most of the game, I wouldnt be surprised if they change formation and not have him deeper again as it wasnt a great performance.

Love how you’re so absolute about this. Your arguments that Arsenal concede, he could be pushed forward, he could go on one run etc could be said about the majority of teams/midfielders. I’ve already said if it looks like Matic is fit, then i’ll reconsider. United winning last week, may suggest they won’t change unless different personnel become fit.

                  Please do remind me.

One of the most in form players in the game and you’re benching him against arsenal at home and he takes penalties.

My apologises thinking he was at home.

In form very much so but maybe not shown in goals and assists recently. He could easily be the difference between the 2 teams on Sunday.

2nd sub and not playing for Maddison is just plain right hideous and stupid.

No I wouldn’t, but would not of expected a big haul away to Arsenal, with a weakened team, having played mid week. This is all I was trying to say, he’s a quality player but had 6 points over previous 3 games and not a good fixture. Your response of my opinion being stupid and mad was so absolute. Their are no guarantees in this game, we all do our best to weigh up how our teams will fair. I ended up with 99 this week, luck or carful calculation? A bit of both. Best of luck with the rest of your season.

FPL think tank is interesting but a bit like a Twitter poll. One of the best and most helpful features ever on FFS was What The Fans Say - a roundup from fan sites which was usually on the ball about who would be dropped/started etc. It would be great to see something like that again.

    1. Agree - I have also suggested an idea many times that each PL teams should have an official FFS "correspondent" (who could be given free membership as a reward) who specifically keeps an eye on that team's forums, news etc for nuggets of information who does a little summary each GW and to answer team-specific questions.

Yes, I like the idea of a correspondent for each club keeping an eye on forums etc. I think that would work well. (Apologies, Jarvish, for delayed reply!)

Think it would be great to have that as a resource, but if just one correspondent per club they could really get it in the neck if they get it all wrong, even if it's just reporting fan gossip.

          Can see messengers getting shot.

True, they’d need a thick skin. Or for that role have a nom de plume. I think it could work well and be a good resource. The old What The Fans Say was my favourite read of the week. Does anyone know who wrote it? I think it was a community article.

Hi folks? I’m using FH in 31. So who to bring in here?

    Guita
    Pereira, Lascelles, Duffy
    Salah, Sterling, Pogba, Jota
    Aguero, Arnie, Rashford

    Etheridge, Lindleof, Bednarek, Puncheon

    1ft 1.5 itb

Would you rather bring in Ederson or TAA this gw?

I’d FH in 33 in your shoes.

33 is a more dangerous week I’d say than 31. Get TAA in this week and switch pogba for Mane in 31 and you’re covered for big losses via template players in 31.

In 33 you could be hurt more if Chelsea Liverpool Arsenal and Spurs all play.

Been leaving points on the table last GW's whilst procrastinating whether to get TAA or Mané as 3rd Pool in addition to Robbo + Salah. Difficult decision this GW, as getting Mané for this week would mean shipping Sterling, or wait another week and possibly leave more points on table. Otoh, TAA I can get in this week for e.g. Yedlin (worrst transfer of the seson for me, which says a lot). TAA also leaves funds for both Haz + Vardy if I fancy that. So choice is:

    A) Yedlin -> TAA
    B) Sterling -> Mané
    C) Hold this GW to do Sterling -> Mané for GW31.

    cheers!

bit scared he may be rested though. And one goal against, and his points are gone. But don't want to lose Sterling if getting Mané this week either, so have to factor in his likely 6+ points this GW.

Possibly not but they’re decent at home, have Fulham and everyone has plenty to prove under the new boss, including Rodgers.

Leicester have been good in patches, Maddison is looking lively and should bag some attacking returns over the next few, especially considering the fixtures.

Also the fact is there’s slim pickings for the BGW, let’s be honest.

I don't get FH31 at all. Most people that don't use it will have bulk of FH31 team minus a couple of 2pt spuds then they'll have same team for 33 if they FH32

Or you could have 5 this week, use 2 FT's to swap two of them for players with fixtures in 31/33 while benching the other 3 & FH32?

      Proper planning allows:

      11 playing for GW31
22 playing for GW32 with FH DGW
11 playing for GW33 (similar teams to GW31)
WC for GW34 to tidy things up for the run in
      18+ playing for GW35 DGW

Quite a lot of points up for grabs across those 5x GW's with strategically executed chips

I also wonder about this City/Watford game - there's quite a body of evidence accumulating that Fernandinho's absence is very bad for City's big hitters - City have played 4 league games without him now this season:

          Palace Home (L 3-2)
          Leicester Away (L 2-1)
          West Ham Home (W 1-0)
          Bournemouth Away (W 1-0)

On paper 4 good fixtures for a team like Man City - however - Kun, Sterling & Sane have only managed a combined 2 attacking returns in total between them across those 4 games

Firstly, I have my TC left and with everyone FH32, I will be able to TC in a DGW to capitalise where you can't.

For GW32, I currently have 5 players with a DGW confirmed and 5 more players with expected DGW's without taking any hits.

I will have two transfers for BGW33 where I can move out two of those City / United players and I will still have between 7-10 starters depending on FA Cup results without taking hits. I might decide to take one or two hits here depending on confirmed blanks, but most people FH32 are taking one or two hits for BGW31.

My TC on a DGW and not having to ship Man City and United players early is the advantage, in my opinion.

Who are your 10x GW32 expected players with double fixtures?

Personally I think a blank cheque to hand pick 11 players in GW32 far outweighs the one extra score from TC being deployed in that week, and that Salah TC vs. Huddersfield in GW36 can easily match/exceed a DGW score - but it will be interesting to see!

            Expected:

TC Aguero with 2 games against Fulham and Cardiff potentially.
