Fantasy managers intending to play the Norwegian edition of FPL this season are reminded that it starts this weekend.

The deadline for Gameweek 1 of Eliteserien Fantasy is at 14:30 GMT on Saturday, March 30.

We’ve been building up to the opening round of fixtures in recent weeks with plenty of articles on all facets of the game.

      Passes the eye test.
      Probably starts both.
      Low ownership.
      Zaha is probably injured.
      Easy match Vs Huddersfield could swing the tide in his favour.
      Decently priced.
      The only time you could get him in your team and get away with it, is on a FH.

        Why not going for Jiminez then at that price range? At least Jiminez is proven goal scorer this season and may start both games as well after that one game rest during the IB. Also Wolves a much better attacking unit than Palace.

          I think he'll start the first. And get subbed on for the second. Nuno would definitely want him fresh and won't be risking an injury before the FA cup match.

          Since Watford players will get their rest too, and this is Nuno's best shot at silverware, rotation is highly likely.

          Yes, they have nothing to lose in the PL & they've proven to be a strong opposition.
          But focus should be on the FA cup, for both.

    I know it’s an been a much-asked question over these past 2 weeks, but:

    Are you going for Ederson, Laporte, or triple City attack (likely DSilva for me)
    ... and why?

    It feels wrong not to max out on City attack with those fixtures. Surely DSilva will get decent enough minutes? Didn’t play over IB. Additionally, there are other options like DDG, Foster even for GK over Ederson, while Laporte could be rotated?

        Reasonably good surely? He’s a consistent points scorer when he plays, for the most part. Always chips in a/ assists etc - surely a higher ceiling than Ederson who at best will get 2CS and maybe some saves, but could end up with 4pts

      Triple attack - Ederson unlikely to get more than 12 or 13 points whereas an attacker could score lots more if the matches are cricket scores (which is very possible).

    When I take Kane out I just don't think the extra funds are distributed well enough. I end up picking D. Silva instead of Laporte for example which might not necessarily be a good thing

      If you're not using FH, then this is definitely a great TC shout.

      I'd go Aguero though, always a slight risk Sterling gets rested.

        Played FH last week...hadn’t done enough prep and therefore had barely anyone playing otherwise.

        Slightly fallen on my feet though because had a lot of the DGW players this week ready, which is why it feels an ideal opportunity to play TC.
