Breakfast Club is back this morning in its usual slot.

It’s a live stream/podcast with a difference this week as the Fantasy Premier League deadline has already passed, so the focus will be less on Gameweek 33 than on the fixtures ahead.

From 11:15 am we will be live on our YouTube channel, and in the embedded link below, discussing plans for the mini-Double Gameweek 34 and beyond.

Joining Joe today are the site’s deputy editor Neale, in for the absent David, and former FPL winner Simon March.

They’ll reveal their strategies for the Wildcard, Bench Boost and Triple Captain chips and highlight some of the players that are catching the eye for the season run-in.

  1. Whats the Mata?

Think I'm set on this WC team with FH in 35. Subject to very few changes if any.

    Ryan - Foster
    Laporte - Bednarek - Kolasinac - Robertson - Duffy(Duffy to Boly in gw35)
    Mane - Eriksen - Jota - JWP - _____
    Lacazette - Jimenez - _____

Would appreciate if y'all could help me decide the final 2 positions.

    A. Kane + Bernardo Silva
    Or
    B. Son + Aguero

    Cheers all 🙂

Both involve some sort of doubt/rotation, but I prefer (A) purely based on health/fixtures

Kane is most nailed of them all & also a great © candidate over next few fixtures.
      So, A

Any view on better wildcard option, taking into account rotation?

    A...sterling and son

    B....kdb and eriksen

Agreed but knowing how badly Eriksen has trolled me this season, could be (B) by a mile, too.

Raz is most explosive of them all imo. City have 3/4 away matches where we can © Raz too.
So A has higher ceiling for me

Same here. Quite amazing. Almost as amazing as the belief in the same Kane who's been dropping deep for club and country and only seems to score a brace from penalties...

Overpriced when you’re overhauling your 15. Plus poor form and another poor performance despite his goal. Pretty obvious why he’s not in teams, though he’ll creep back in to many for the huds game.

“Another poor performance despite his goal.” Haha alright mate
Will be happy to have him as a differential
Looking at WC teams it just seems like people are picking a load of players that haven’t done a great deal all season but they’re picking them as differentials or just because they have a WC to use so they want new players. Sometimes at the expense of more consistent performers.

As a Liverpool fan I was chuffed to bits with his goal and hope it renews his confidence, but he was poor again. Who the hell picks the most expensive player in the game on a
WC in a DGW when he’s out of form and has one game? All this fake shock and pleasure at him being absent from WC teams from people who’ve spunked their WC already is pretty desperate imo. Still I hope he scores a hat trick.

Dunno what you’re on about tbh. I’m a Liverpool fan. Couldn’t be more happy right now, not least with Salah. He’s just an obviously daft overpriced pick on a WC is all. Sorry if you don’t like that being spelled out. Hope he rips it up for both of us. Relax, brother.

          Gw 35 is poor.
Transferring them out if playing BB (popular) will take a FT (equivalent to 4 points) so ....
And Bournemouth has natural goal scorer's. They can easily get 1 from out of nowhere.
I'm going in with Duffy only.
2 is more than enough imo

Going triple here. But rather not triple on bb in 35 so might go with a team set ul which allows one out. Spurs defends set piece badly. Going both can give you a goal-)

Steady returns but low ceiling and a rotation risk. Perfect second or third striker but not really captain material for me - and I often captain cheaper differentials.

Hi guys! Ive got a low-ish TV, compared to many on here, have discussed previously, and its been well noted that a lot of players are good squad fillers for the WC. Anywere i could improve this team? (103.5 TV)

    Ryan Gunn

    Kolasinac Robbo Duffy Bennett Valery

    Mane Sterling Son Eriksen JWP

    Kane Jiminez Deeney

Its tough but do-able. Triple Spurs, 1x man city, 2x liverpool. Thoughts?

Ive got a good feeling about Spurs, their fixtures are delicious, and if history is anything to go by, Spurs usually finish strongly.

So all of the big teams now have huge games every 3 or 4 days - you just know this is going to be a rotation nightmare.

I think everyone is fair game now.

You just have to pick your players and hope they see enough time to do something in the remaining DGWs.

One of Brighton, Saints and Cardiff will probably make up the last of the trio to get relegated, so they can’t afford to rest their best players. But there’s not much there you’d want other than for bench fodder.

    How she looks now ?

    Loris
    TAA, Laporte, Dunk
Sterling, Son, Jota, Ward - Prowse
    Avuero, Kane, Jimenez

    Sub: Foster, Deulofeu, Kolasinac, Valery
    0 in the bank

Like it. Would prefer Robo over TAA. Maybe do this by Kane or Aguero to Aubam or Laca.

    Hmm, midfield too weak?

    Foster Ryan
    TAA Doherty Kola Duffy Valery
Salah B.Silva Doucoure JWP Camarasa(becomes Jota week after)
    Kane Aguero Jimi

Sacrifices Sterling and actually leaves 1.5 ITB but can't see where to upgrade, can't get to Son who I do want.

I’d pick 2 from Kane, Aguero, Salah and then go from there. All 3 sucks up too much of the budget

Yeah, this was more of a 'Salah draft' incase I get too worried he goes on a run.

You don't think it's possible Salah outscores Sterling when he's away to Cardiff in 35 despite Sterling having two games?

Yeah, that's in my main draft, just getting some feedback on ones that still have Salah.

Am I the only who thinks that Redmond is the better pick to JWP?

Redmond playing up front and Liverpool made him look like Messi last night.

I thought he was originally, but then JWP kept popping up with the points.

There was a members(?) article a while back on Southampton offensive assets. Was a decent read.

      Nope
      I also think so.

Maybe will keep Camarasa & money as place holder to give some more time to think about & get one in gw 35

    Foster - Ryan
    TAA - Kola - Doherty - Valery - Trippier
Son - Mane - Sterling - JWP- Camarasa
    Kane - Lacazette - Jimenez

    Any thoughts on this WC?
    Maybe Laporte over Trippier?

      35- Cardiff
      36- Hudds
