Everton v Arsenal was the only Premier League match to take place on Sunday, so attention now switches to the FA Cup semi-final between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Watford.

Both of these sides enjoy two fixtures in Double Gameweek 35 and several of their players will be very much in the minds of Fantasy managers as they prepare their squads for the season run-in.

There are three changes to the Wolves side that beat Manchester United in midweek but the team that lines up at Wembley is effectively Nuno Espirito Santo’s first-choice starting XI, save for the inclusion of cup goalkeeper John Ruddy over Rui Patricio.

Romain Saiss gets the nod over Ryan Bennett at centre-half, while Jonny returns at wing-back as Ruben Vinagre makes way.

Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota resume their partnership up front, while Matt Doherty – owned by more than one in five FPL managers – lines up on the right flank.

Javi Gracia has made two changes to the team that beat Fulham on Tuesday, with Heurelho Gomes replacing Ben Foster as anticipated.

More noteworthy for Fantasy managers ahead of Gameweek 35 is the inclusion of Andre Gray over Gerard Deulofeu up front.

Gray set up two of the Hornets’ goals against the Cottagers in midweek and was talked up by fellow striker Troy Deeney in the club captain’s post-match interview.

Wolves XI (3-5-2): Ruddy, Saiss, Coady, Boly, Doherty, Dendoncker, Moutinho, Neves, Jonny, Jota, Jimenez.

Watford XI (4-4-2): Gomes, Kiko Femenía, Mariappa, Cathcart, Holebas, Hughes, Doucouré, Capoue, Pereyra, Deeney, Gray.

Good plan though i worry about Trent being called off before 60 mins and Doherty's minutes being managed in the double.

Seen a lot of kdb love here. Hasn’t really been involved but is this precisely the point? The fact that he’s been out makes him less of a rotation risk?

Risk is Pep wrapping him in cotton wool for CL fixtures & crunch games considering how stop-start his previous returns from injury have been.

Huge differential if it pays off. Not sure fully about the risk at this point. I’d say he’s finally to the point where it’s feeling expected again to see him in the lineup.

No clue what to do this week for the first time in awhile.

    Fab/Boruc
    Robbo/TAA/Ake/Schlupp/Bednarek
    Sterling/Hazard/Mane/Brooks/Tielemans
    Vardy/Higuain/Jimmy

    2fts and 2.1 available.

Should I just focus on getting Kane in? It just feels like a perfect blow-up spot this...easy (C) decision as well.

  26. Differential C (Mark)

Its a crime that Deeney hasn't gotten a single cap from England. If Lambert could debut at 31, why cant Troy? So underated cuz he plays for Watford.

Not saying he should be amian starter lol,, but even a friendly as a cameo? Just to cap off a great career.

Southgate said that Deeney's style dosent suit the England team.

Has he? That's a shame, but an understandable reason. Just a cameo in a friendly wouldnt hurt, though, would it?

A player who has played limited minutes like Hudson Odoi gets a England call up over someone like Deeney tell you that its highly improbable for him to get a call.

Starting to think a risk on Aguero will be a better option than Laca.
Yes he’s a rotation risk, esp as just getting back from injury but his sheer importance for title run in means he’ll be no.1 option majority of time. Can see him being benched for both CL games v Spurs & play in PL.

    Would leave me with this:

    Lloris
    Bednarek Dunk Duffy Valery Kola
    Mane Sterling Son JWP Jota
    Kane Aguero Jiménez

Since they switched to the 3412 I think. Used to play 343 until Jota joined Raul as a two up front.
