Everton v Arsenal was the only Premier League match to take place on Sunday, so attention now switches to the FA Cup semi-final between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Watford.

Both of these sides enjoy two fixtures in Double Gameweek 35 and several of their players will be very much in the minds of Fantasy managers as they prepare their squads for the season run-in.

There are three changes to the Wolves side that beat Manchester United in midweek but the team that lines up at Wembley is effectively Nuno Espirito Santo’s first-choice starting XI, save for the inclusion of cup goalkeeper John Ruddy over Rui Patricio.

Romain Saiss gets the nod over Ryan Bennett at centre-half, while Jonny returns at wing-back as Ruben Vinagre makes way.

Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota resume their partnership up front, while Matt Doherty – owned by more than one in five FPL managers – lines up on the right flank.

Javi Gracia has made two changes to the team that beat Fulham on Tuesday, with Heurelho Gomes replacing Ben Foster as anticipated.

More noteworthy for Fantasy managers ahead of Gameweek 35 is the inclusion of Andre Gray over Gerard Deulofeu up front.

Gray set up two of the Hornets’ goals against the Cottagers in midweek and was talked up by fellow striker Troy Deeney in the club captain’s post-match interview.

Wolves XI (3-5-2): Ruddy, Saiss, Coady, Boly, Doherty, Dendoncker, Moutinho, Neves, Jonny, Jota, Jimenez.

Watford XI (4-4-2): Gomes, Kiko Femenía, Mariappa, Cathcart, Holebas, Hughes, Doucouré, Capoue, Pereyra, Deeney, Gray.

Amazed the commentators are praising that goalkeeping from Ruddy, he dropped it, very lucky no-one was there!

Everton must be the worst fookin troll team ever.

They lose against Southampton, lose against Milwall, lose against Watford, draw against Liverpool, lose against Newcastle.
At this point all of their assets are deemed shite and are offloaded.

And then all of sudden they magically beat Chelsea, beat West Ham, beat Arsenal.

People getting back to full fitness and actually playing a striker (rather than Richarlison) helps. This is Everton's best team IMO. If they could sign a striker and avoid playing European football (they don't have the squad for it yet) then they could do well.

Quick RP to gather opinions on the matter...

Thoughts on City assets for WC34 and beyond appreciated....

The way I see it, Sterling Aguero Laporte will be the most owned ones. Sterling is the only one currently in my WC draft, though - I think other, cheaper forwards with better fixtures (think Deeney, Jimenez etc) that are also probably more nailed than Aguero given City's fixture congestion.

The same I feel applies for Laporte - typically nailed on, but City will be playing a game every 3 days or so at that point (bound to be some rotation), and not the pretties DGW fixtures for him either (tot+MUN)...

Sterling same risks as Aguero, but maybe more likely to get more minutes?
