Brighton and Hove Albion are the only club with four Premier League fixtures across Gameweeks 34 and 35, with their first “double-header” undoubtedly their most enticing from a Fantasy perspective.

Bournemouth and Cardiff City are the visitors to the Amex Stadium in Gameweek 34 before the Seagulls face two less-appealing away fixtures at Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur in Gameweek 35.

Brighton assets will obviously be more popular than usual going into this Friday’s deadline, then, so it is worth exploring some of the Seagulls’ underlying statistics to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Our Members’ piece below looks at both attacking and defensive options in Chris Hughton’s side and studies Albion’s team numbers as a whole.

Now that we are past the halfway stage of the season, memberships are available for just £10 and can be bought by clicking HERE.

Madness how everyone is going for Laporte. Would much rather have TAA and Robbo.

I agree, but if you have one of the above already he is a solid pick, not just for the dgw but for the run in.

Yeah I guess double pool attack is one reason. Not as keen on double attack though as I think many DGW players can match or better their points from now till end of season where-as I think there are few defenders that will do as good as Liverpool from now till end of season.

I don't fancy him for GW35 as I don't really fancy City's chances of a clean sheet in either fixture. Some good ones before and after though.

Murray(C) over Vardy. Form's been crap but I need a bit of a gamble. Would you do it?

    1. JohnnyMagrinho
      7 years, 3 months ago

Don't think he'll play both games and even if he did his ceiling is a lot lower than Vardy's.

Can't see Murray getting many points in between now and end of season.

I like Leicester since Rodgers has joined - they look like they're full of goals.

Me too. I have him but unless Poch says in no uncertain terms that he's starting, no cap.

He surely wont say that he is starting...

    3. JohnnyMagrinho
      7 years, 3 months ago

If I was Poch I'd be wanting to win that game 5/6-0.

They need some confidence (yes they've just beat City but they've lost their talisman and that's going to have an impact).

The fight for 3rd/4th is so close it may come down to GD. A gimme fixture is what they've got but they surely want to rack up some goals here.

Will buoy them for next week and give those around them in the league something to think about.

For that reason I'd say Son has a good chance of starting that game.

Obvioulsy I'm not a Premier League manager so my opinion is just as worthwhile as what you're thinking, but ultimately Spurs need to win pretty much every game they play now and I can't Poch underestimating anyone they're up against with just a handful of games to go.

Of course. But it's 12 days and 4 games with triple city sauce
If any of their players get injured people will blame poch for putting pressure on his players

Danny Drinkwater, yet another player happy to collect his wages every week without kicking a ball. He was told by Sarri in the Summer that he wont be part of his set-up and was advised to move on! Sad that he decided to stay to rot away for a full season or perhaps more!

    1. shearer9

Genuinely think he's up there as one of the worst transfers of all time, financially at least. £30m fee and £100k/wages for a handful of appearances. Doesn't even provide an option off the bench.

I'd love to captain Son, but cant risk it, so im thinking in this order at the mo:

Camarasa's predicted points in 34 is only gaining a small amount over who your 1st sub would be.... but his predicted points in 35 for the bench boost DGW is awful with just the 1 fixture to Liverpool and Hojberg is much better there.

Going Camarasa > Hojberg in 35 is just an un-necessary transfer and you may have other problems that need addressing (and if not, saving the transfer for 36 could come in v useful)

A bit different from template (perhaps for a reason!?)...

    Ryan | Foster
    Trippier | TAA | Boly | Duffy | Valery
    Salah | Mane | Son | Eriksen | Ward-Prowse

Cash in the back to do Vardy to Laca or a Duffy upgrade in GW36.

If you are doing this for the rest of the season I’d say 1.

I like Robertson very much compared to TAA. If no money tied on him then B.

More or less done tinkering but want Robertson and can't find a way to do it without a serious downgrade. Anyone see a way?

    Curent draft (0.1m itb) :

    Ryan (Gunn)
    TAA Trippier Duffy (Benderek Valery)
    Mane KDB Sterling Eriksen Son
    Aguero Jiminez (Deeney)

Nope. Aguero to Rashford, is the closest one, but not good enough imo. Eriksen to Moura and additional upgrade better solution, but risky.

Cheers. Only other idea that's come to mind is an aguero to laca downgrade. Would also do trippier to Robertson, Duffy to Laporte and Duffy to dunk. Do you think that would be worth the downgrade?

Can’t see an obvious way but Jesus you must have great team value

Yh, I'm a recovering hit addict. Nowhere near as bad as last season but still very bad, the penny's finally dropped since roughly the turn of the new year and now I rarely if ever take a hit.

See above, what would you think of that? Aguero is an obvious captain option so that would be a big loss but allows 1 slight uograde in defence and one major one.

      Ryan to Lloris,
      Trippier to Dunk,

      save 2 transfers for GW36
and then do Deeney to Quaner and Duffy/Dunk to Robertson

It's what I'm doing! Also gives you an option at Sterling to Salah if you want to opt for that. Think I'm going to bring in Robertson for 36 though and keep hold of TAA.
