Brighton and Hove Albion are the only club with four Premier League fixtures across Gameweeks 34 and 35, with their first “double-header” undoubtedly their most enticing from a Fantasy perspective.

Bournemouth and Cardiff City are the visitors to the Amex Stadium in Gameweek 34 before the Seagulls face two less-appealing away fixtures at Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur in Gameweek 35.

Brighton assets will obviously be more popular than usual going into this Friday’s deadline, then, so it is worth exploring some of the Seagulls’ underlying statistics to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Our Members’ piece below looks at both attacking and defensive options in Chris Hughton’s side and studies Albion’s team numbers as a whole.

Now that we are past the halfway stage of the season, memberships are available for just £10 and can be bought by clicking HERE.

Morning guys! Having a bench headache this week and have a feeling that Liverpool will have a CS against CHE. They have two days of rest more than CHE, they are better team and in a title race.
GTG or should I change something?

    Begovic
    Laporte Pereira Duffy
    Salah Son(C) Pogba Barnes
    Laca Wilson Barnes

    TAA Matip Fanderson

Wee repost, cheers to Rocky.007 for input though.

Are you considering any Arsenal/MUN attacker’s on WC? If not, why? If so, who?

Maybe not the most enticing DGWs but DGWs nonetheless, and good closing fixtures too. Personally, kind ttempted to hang onto Pogba, and Pierce34 got me considering an Arsenal fwd in for Vardy next week rather than Aguero (will have Sterling - my current draft is in my comment history)

    1. Holmes
      • 12 Years
      6 years, 11 months ago

Wont be considering any on WC but as of now I'm stuck with Pogba. Was considering Luka for TC purpose this week but Man Utd's attack as a whole have been underwhelming recently, so its 50-50

Dont like Arsenal's fixtures, so not expecting many hauls. Monreal will probably be the only one if I go that route.

Rival (no wc) has Murray in a crucial H2H with me. Do I:

    A) Include Murray on my wc to block him then switch to Jimenez in 35?

    B) Go with Jimenez in my wc and trust him to outscore Murray this week?

2 Cardiff, 2 Brighton doesn’t set you up well for the stretch, particularly if this is off a wildcard. Draws too many transfers / potential hits from 35 onwards. Duffy / Dunk or Duffy / Camarasa. Who else you looking at from Cardiff?

This WC is driving me mad!

I've put together the following team and it's left me 9.2m in the bank! The thing is, it's probably the most interesting line up. It would mean a hit in 35 to put a strong bench boost out, but I feel this gives me the best team for 34. Currently sitting with a 120k OR. Honest feedback welcome!

    Ryan
    Duffy / Trippier / Doherty
    Eriksen / Son / Knockaert / Camarasa
    Vardy / Jimenez / Kun

    Foster / Valery / Robbo / Hojbjerg

For the following GW I'd bench boost and probably make the following changes

    Vardy to Lacazette
    Camarasa to Sterling

Thoughts? Have I entered the Wild Card delusion phase of the week?

It's a hard call Kun could be rotated.
Similar to you I have considered having Murray and going without Kun and havin a chunk of money to spend next week.
I have Vardy and Jimenez to but really don't think Vardy to Lacca in 35 might be worth a bit think I will hold Vardy for 34 and 35.

    Morning Guys !!

I've asked this yesterday too, but got mixed replies so ...
    My WC team is:

    Lloris • Foster
    Robbo•Taa•Doherty•Duffy•Valery
    Sterling•Eriksen•Jota•Deulofeu•Son
    Kun•Jimenez•*****

    A) Vardy © gw 34
Vardy >>> Bobby Firmino gw 35

    B) Vardy >> Bobby Firmino on WC itself &

We are v similar except I’ve got Foster & Laporte over Lloris & Cathcart (plus my Robbo JWP issue!)

City defence stats have been outrageously good for weeks but maybe Laporte isn’t ‘essential’. Not convinced by Watford defence though even though their DGW35 is so good.

I’m playing both out of necessity. Troy if I had to choose though.

I was going to say B by a mile. Then thought about the double. And concluded B by half a mile.

Ok thanks I will leave it on B as it is. Half a mile is conclusive enough 🙂

How do these tranfers look for 35 after the upcoming GW?
Rondon + Duffy to Jimenez + Valery (-4)?

no wildcard mate, saved FT but have still taken a -8 to bring in 4 players (Son, Duffy, Dunk, Lloris) this week to replace my WHU junk and Fraser. Rondon is on my bench this GW.

Check the amount of away fixtures for Arsenal til end of season it might change with easier fixtures but they have not been good away from home.

      I wouldn’t get either

Laporte sheet chances not great in the medium term. Nor are Kolas.

PIck this apart please, WCT, 0.0 ITB, not quite the template. Defence too rubbish?

    Ryan Foster
Laporte TAA Holebas (flagged?) DUffy Valery
    Eriksen Son Mane KDB Redmond
    Aguero Rashford Jiminez

Redmond and Rashford I don't like - KDB could be a nice diff.
Defence is fine maybe Cathcart instead of Holebas.

Looks a nice team with a few differentials in there. Not sure Rashford is worth the extra 1.5m over deeney given the immediate fixtures and with Lukaku in the side and with a few slight changes, you could get Robertson or even trippier in for holebas I'd you want them.

Yes, a run of good fixtures after the Chelsea match and they have a tonne of attacking threat. I could see Liverpool getting clean sheets in 3 out of their next 5 games.

Can do Rashford/Holebas out for Murray/Vertonghan (Murry > Deeney in 35)

I prefer that personally, I don't think holebas is nailed either.

For those with a triple captain chip left, who will be bench boosting in gw35; it looks like the two best opportunities to use it would be gw36 with Mane/Salah v hudds or Gw38 with Son v Eve /Mane/Salah v Wol, who will have home fixtures and everything to play for. Son has the additional caveat of playing an Everton team with nothing to play for. Obviously in the unlikely event that Kane's back before Gw38 and proves his form, then he'd be a better bet than Son.

If pool are in champs league semis then both salah and mane could get hooked early.

I wouldn’t gamble on hazard ever

Thinking maybe lukaku last day. Didn’t he score five on last day once

They'd still get minimum 70 mins, Klopp doesn't do early subs. Agree with hazard, too risky. Lukaku is a nice shout. A last day son punt is appealing more and more to me, I was dead set on kane before his injury, Everton are on the beach, spurs need top 4, has the makings of a goal fest.

    A) Mane+Deeney
    B) Deulofeu/Doucoure+Firmino

Will get the remaining of Mane/Firmino on GW36.

      A then
As Deulofeu is not confirmed fit

Close but I'd say A. I prefer Deeney to the mids as he has pens and is more nailed than Deulofeu and Mane to firmino as he's more explosive and id feel more confident captaining him.
