Brighton and Hove Albion are the only club with four Premier League fixtures across Gameweeks 34 and 35, with their first “double-header” undoubtedly their most enticing from a Fantasy perspective.

Bournemouth and Cardiff City are the visitors to the Amex Stadium in Gameweek 34 before the Seagulls face two less-appealing away fixtures at Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur in Gameweek 35.

Brighton assets will obviously be more popular than usual going into this Friday’s deadline, then, so it is worth exploring some of the Seagulls’ underlying statistics to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Our Members’ piece below looks at both attacking and defensive options in Chris Hughton’s side and studies Albion’s team numbers as a whole.

Now that we are past the halfway stage of the season, memberships are available for just £10 and can be bought by clicking HERE.

      Nope
Leicester can be susceptible@ the back. So I'd keep Rondon.

Why are you not WC this week mate ??
You can get the desired team right ? I'm not able to see the profit in waiting

Would like to take advantage of Vardy and Maddison vs NEW, Pogba vs WHM, Ryan and Duffy double, Doherty vs sou. None of them will be in WC draft. Players I want dont have any better fixture this week either.

Good point 'in theory' but next week is by far the best week to bench boost and you will lose that option. Newcastle are not a bad team at the back and Pogba sucks right now.

Anyone els concidering using there TC on Aguero or Sterling in GW38 against Brighton away? City will have no Champions League distraction, will most likely fight for the league title and Brighton probably on the beach by then. To me It's eighter then or Mané for GW36, but a friday night against Hudds a few days before of a Champions League semi final...

Was looking at that, but the Leicester game is sandwiched in between two Champions League semi finals. Should they fail to reach that, the Leicester game looks much more appealing.

Those who are WC this week & have both BB & TC left are generally planning for BB in 35 & TC in 36. Just to float a different idea, why not playing TC in 35 & BB in 36?

    The logics are:
    1. Most of the draft WC team that I have seen have 2-3 SGW players (Pool, Verdy) & 2-3 from BHA & Sou. Those SGW players can easily out score the DGW players from BHA & Sou in 35, BHA & Sou players can be benched.

    2. A tripple up on BHA for their DGW in 34 then bench in 35 may become an option.

    3. Both BHA & Sou have OK fixtures in 36, can be productive in bench boost.

    4. Many of us are targeting Pool players for TC in 36 but Salah only score a goal in ages & Mane has hasn't done anything in last two GWs. It may also be the perfect GW to rotate for Pool ahead of potential CL semi.

    5. Jimenez(BHA,ARS), Denny(hud,SOU) even Arsenal/Spurs can be the TC options for DGW 35.

There may be few others like loading up with 3 pool with WC now rather than using FTs before 36, Hazard may become an option etc.

    Thoughts?

I'd have done that if i had TC to play.
Gw 36 will be very very difficult with all squad having great fixtures

A general BB team for DGW 35 would easily be good enough for BB in 36 If someone is not going all out for for BB with 14-15 DGW players I think.

That's an interesting plan and one I'll give some thought to, counterintuitively I do see more points potential for the likes of Brighton & Soton fodder in 36 than 35.

    4. Bob Sacamano
      • 7 Years
      6 years, 11 months ago

It makes sense I guess. However, I took a look om my team and compared them for 35 and 36 and I just can't see my team bb36 outscoring my team bb35. Also, I don't really have anyone I fancy captaining in GW35, so to then use triple captain would feel wrong.

Who would you play this week?

    A) Murray (BOU H, CAR H) (Swap for Deeney GW 35)
    B) Camarasa (BUR A, BHA A) (and get Deeney instead of Murray on WC GW 34)

Love the Siggy pick. Doing this myself this week and will then bring in Mane for 35 and 36. Captaining him though is very brave. Well worth the punt

I might not. Just made sure I have enough funds for the switch to Mo Salah, in case he picks form.

If not siggy, who then are you captaining?

2 goals (14 points) against Fulham even when Everton weren't in fine form

16 points away to Cardiff, some weeks ago. Fingers crossed.

Tbh I'm bringing in Ryan + Duffy but I'm absolutely convinced they will let goals in v Bournemouth and Cardiff.

So why am I bringing them in I ask you?

Ryan / Foster seems the GK weapon of choice for WC'ers

I'm leaning towards Ryan / Gunn though, as it allows Duffy over Dunk

SOU's 36-38 games seem a wee bit better, and the risk of Gomes getting a pre FA-Cup-final home send-off in GW 38 weighs on my mind a wee bit too

    Am I missing somerhing ?

Fosters appeal in 35 is Huddersfield A and Soton H,

No doubt, and that's better than Gunn's New & Wat away

It's the three after that are a wee bit more to Gunn's favour, esp if there are worries (in my fragile mind, at elast) about Foster playing in 38

Yeah the run in for Soton is a lot better think watford go to Chelsea

I have similar logic but I'm getting Valery already and don't rly like doubling up on defences (although I am doubling up on Ryan/Duffy, mainly because GW34 double is quite good)
