The seventh match of Gameweek 36 takes place this evening as Brighton and Hove Albion face Newcastle United.

Kick-off at the Amex Stadium is at 17:30 BST.

Chris Hughton has made four changes to the side that took on Spurs in midweek, with Glenn Murray handed a recall up front.

Florin Andone doesn’t drop to the bench, however – the Romanian striker is joined by Murray and winger Jose Izquierdo in a front three.

Murray, Izquierdo, veteran right-back Bruno and central midfielder Beram Kayal come into Hughton’s starting XI, with Martin Montoya, Yves Bissouma, Jurgen Locadia and Alireza Jahanbakhsh making way.

Solly March is among the substitutes, while Anthony Knockaert only makes the bench despite a return from a three-game ban.

Rafael Benitez has made two enforced changes, with Miguel Almiron and Jamaal Lascelles unavailable through injury and illness respectively.

Christian Atsu and Federico Fernandez are the men to replace the sidelined pair, while Jonjo Shelvey is handed a rare start in midfield at the expense of Ki Sung-yueng.

A win would almost certainly secure Brighton’s Premier League safety as it would take them six points clear of Cardiff City with two games to play.

The Seagulls currently have a superior goal difference than the Bluebirds to the tune of 14 goals.

Hughton’s side have not scored in seven league and cup games, however, and are without a Premier League victory since Gameweek 29.

Newcastle have won their last two top-flight games, with Ayoze Perez scoring all four goals in that brace of victories.

Brighton and Hove Albion XI: Ryan, Bruno, Duffy, Dunk, Bernardo, Gross, Stephens, Kayal, Andone, Murray, Izquierdo.

Subs: Bong, Bissouma, Locadia, Knockaert, March, Button, Burn.

Newcastle United XI: Dubravka, Manquillo, Schar, Fernandez, Dummett, Ritchie, Perez, Shelvey, Hayden, Atsu, Rondon.

Subs: Ki, Diame, Muto, Kenedy, Yedlin, Barreca, Darlow.

    Can Leno, Shaw, Pogba, Hazard

Get 45? If so I'm in danger of losing manager of the month in my mini league.

We both have Aguero so that cancels out, I also have Laporte left to play.

The other one who could catch me is 14 behind, and has Aguero/Shaw to my Aguero/Laporte.

Hoping to see it through. On 113 (-4) for the week as it stands

No chance those 4 get 45 points between them I’m afraid n

Leno and Shaw are going to get no more than 6 each which is unlikely so even if Hazard and Pogba score three goals between them you are still quite a bit off. Not going to happen

Sorry I may have been unclear, I'm the one with only Laporte/Aguero! 🙂

I have a silly question: Would you want to be a fan of a yoyo club/team? (Sorry Norwich, it just got me thinking)

The excitement of promotion would be great but the nature of relegation would be brutal

Absolutely not. Only support teams who can match my ambition

Real fans are born into their team, they don’t get to pick and choose

    Which one? 2FT

    A) Eriksen, Martial > Sterling, Højberg (play Delu)
    B) Eriksen, Son > Sterling, Jota (bench Delu)

    Best way forward here

    Patricio — foster
Doherty Laporte Kola - Valery Duffy
    Son Sterling Mane Pogba Jwp
    Kun Jiménez— Gray

    A) Jwp + Gray >> Elliot + Rashford (-4)
    - Jiménez > Mitro in gw38
    - Leaves a poor bench (Doherty, Duffy, Elliot) for gw38 if rotation happens

    B) Laporte + Gray >> Shaw + Rashford (-4)
    - Jiménez > Mitro in gw38
    - Covers rotation for attackers in gw38 as I will have jwp on bench

    C) Gray >> DCL/Ings and bench jwp
    - Jiménez > Rashford in gw38 and start jwp
    - Covers rotation for attackers in gw38 as I will have DCL on bench

    D) Save FT and start JWP in gw37
    - Then aim to do Doherty + Jimenez >> Lindelof + Rashford in 38
