Adam Levy is currently leading the OR in FPL, by quite a margin. If he doesn’t win it this season, that would probably be a greater upset than Liverpool eliminating Barcelona after losing the first leg 3-0!
Adam Levy
New Zealander Adam Levy (team name #TheyareUs) has 2588 points so far, and a 60 point lead over his closest rival in the overall standings, Falah Allawati. If he gets 79 points or more in GW38 then he will beat the record FPL points total set by Jon Reeson back in 2009-10.
There was only one wildcard that season, and no additional chips, but there were no less than ten double game-weeks, mainly caused by matches postponed because of frozen pitches, including several at Blackpool (Charlie Adams was a must-have)!
Adam also leads our main FFS League by 72 points over Jay Lovejoy, our FFS Members League by 94 points over Isrightlad United, and my Opening Day League by 164 points over Timothy Shelbourne. The Opening Day League is only for teams that entered it within 24 hours of the FPL Launch, so he appears to have been taking FPL seriously this season right from day one.
History
This is Adam’s 6th FPL season, his previous best finish being 10,847th last season. He has been in the top thousand since GW11, in the top ten since GW26, and world number one since GW29. He played his First Wildcard in GW16, triple captained Aguero in DGW25, and followed the popular strategy of Free Hit in DGW32, Second Wildcard in GW34 and Bench Boost in DGW35, with centuries in GWs 25, 32, 35 and 36.
He has only taken hits on four occasions – 4 pointers in GWs 4 and 23 and 8 pointers in GWs 31 and 35. His TV reached a peak of 107.0 in GW30.
Captaincy
His captain points totalled 627, using 11 different captains (Aguero 11 times, Salah 8, Kane 5, Sterling 3, Lacazette, Hazard and Aubameyang twice each and Vardy, Robertson, Higuaín and Erikssen once). His favorite formation was 3-4-3 (28 times), but he also used 3-5-2 and 4-4-2 three times each, 4-3-3 twice and 5-5-3 once.
His form in the second half of the season has been particularly impressive, scoring 1250 points from GWs 21 to 37. That is 93 points more than Andrew Hughes, the current leader of my January to May League.
Conclusion
Have there been any more convincing winners in FPL? (I don’t have any records of the winning margins in previous seasons).
Adam Levy follows in the footsteps of past FFS winners Jon Reeson, Tom Fenley, Matt Martyniak, Simon March, and Ben Crabtree.
What is it about Adam’s season that has put him so far ahead?

I can't believe how far ahead he is, massively well played. Usually it seems as though there are about 4 of 5 going into the final week who could win it
