How good are Pukki’s upcoming fixtures after hat-trick heroics?

Teemu Pukki (£6.8m) has already taken FPL by storm, scoring four goals in his first two Premier League matches.

Fantasy managers are flocking to sign the Norwich forward, with a third price rise of the season occurring overnight.

The hat-trick scored against Newcastle in Gameweek 2 sent the demand for Pukki into overdrive, but his new owners were clearly also impressed with his ability to score even at Anfield in Gameweek 1.

However, there are still some who are a little concerned about Norwich’s upcoming fixtures.

So we’ve analysed the numbers recorded so far this season to test whether or not Pukki is a sensible signing for Gameweek 3.

As this article uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those who have signed up for the 2019/20 season can access it in full.

        Yeah I saw that. On par or better than Salah, Sterling, Pukki, Kane for goal threat and good fixtures to come.

        Really not sure if its worth paying 2m extra for Rash.

          Also, the gulf in expected returns between Laporte/VVD and Montoya/Soyuncu as against the expected difference between Barnes and Rashford according to stats, long term fixtures and even returns so far (especially with Martial positioned centrally and Rash on the wing) makes me suggest closing all FPL-related tabs and apps until the deadline

          If you started with Barnes, you hit gold. Why even consider a switch? Maybe get Martial in the your midfield for Man U's fixtures if you're so inclined

    Very nearly went with KdB option over McGinn with minimal defence - which would have crushed it week 2 even more and anticipated all these week 3 WCs. Just don’t see that team balance being good for 16 weeks!!

    The one misstep seems to be Jota. Still happy to hold for a couple anyway. He was always a 2 mill cash itb player though. I’m waiting to see how to put that money into midfield and/or defence. Options are.

    A 6 mill mid plus 4.5 defender
    B City defender

    McGinn I still like over Ceballos for security of starts and fixed role in side. Time will tell. No thoughts of moving him in any time soon

        Thing with pretty much all the 6.0s and 4.5s is that they all seem punty right now. Idea was to give myself 2 more weeks data anyway before moving.

        Dubious that the universal Brighton 4.5 will hold up. Last season form and Potter defensive record make weeks 1 and 2 feel like outliers to me

          Leaning towards the latter as they are way more nailed.

          Pope just seems too good value to turn down so Ederson is a no for me.
          Plus ill be more inclined to downgrading a def if I need money rather than a GK.

            Vvd Laporte I slightly regret. But experience of last season puts me off. Had them both in good times and bad. Felt generally suboptimal and Laporte hauls fluky - I may be playing the wrong season of course 🙂

      Adrian a wasted pick as he is soon a transfer out . Get Pope and a 4M. King is a poor pick . No Salah/Mane is way too risky.
      Better picks than Otamendi at the price.
