How good are Pukki’s upcoming fixtures after hat-trick heroics?

Teemu Pukki (£6.8m) has already taken FPL by storm, scoring four goals in his first two Premier League matches.

Fantasy managers are flocking to sign the Norwich forward, with a third price rise of the season occurring overnight.

The hat-trick scored against Newcastle in Gameweek 2 sent the demand for Pukki into overdrive, but his new owners were clearly also impressed with his ability to score even at Anfield in Gameweek 1.

However, there are still some who are a little concerned about Norwich’s upcoming fixtures.

So we’ve analysed the numbers recorded so far this season to test whether or not Pukki is a sensible signing for Gameweek 3.

As this article uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those who have signed up for the 2019/20 season can access it in full.

        No FTs unfortunately.
        Was just seeing what I could come up with.
        Have a few players in my team that I don’t really want and could drop in price, which would mean I couldn’t afford this W/C.
        Add into that some of the players likely to go up...

            You could be right.
            I just look at that team and prefer it to what I have and the fact that it’s exact money would mean that I would have to move quick.
            Not only are some of my current players due a fall, but some of those in my W/C could still rise.

      Quite like. Good balance and preferable to the very big mid template emerging imo. That’s code of course for saying I have a variation of this 😉

      Ceballos could be gold but Emery makes me think he’s a wait and see.

      Kwp - Poch problem with resting wingbacks.

      Like Firmino call as something different. Makes sense to me as a potential placeholder for Haller Wilson Vardy etc.

      In my opinion KWP and Ceballos are too much of a rotatiion risk, Firmino is not enough Liverpool cover and Pukki can only regress. Maybe take a -4 and swap out Wesley and Perez. I wouldnt wildcard that original team.

      I'd probably just skip Jota. Fraser and Perez out sounds decent. Players I'd target there are Martial and KDB whichever you'd prefer. Or one option could be Vardy, Fraser and Perez -> Pukki, Martial and KDB?

              Chelsea has a quite obliging defense, so that fix doesn't really worry me. He managed 3 shots at Anfield (averaged 3 shots a game in the Championship) and 9 shots at Newcastle. At West Ham he'll probably knick a goal at least

    Is Team Value worth considering when making potential transfers and does it prevent any of you from making one? For instance, would team value and player price rises stop you from getting in a player who you sense may be on the up for a player in your current squad that has rises say £0.6m since you have owned him?

    Just intrigued to no other peoples thoughts on this, my team value is currently £100.9m, but it means i've been fortunate enough to get players in that have risen sharply and likely that those same players are getting snapped up by other players.

      Mane in recent games wins on the eye test for me, always looks the more likely to score, but it's the fear of Salah grabbing a brace and him being so highly owned that's making me cautious... although saying that Mane is also capable of doing the same

      Mad to wildcard that team, IMO. Wait for pressers, but if you transfer out one of Wilson/Haller (or both maybe for a hit) then you've got a solid first 11 this week.

    It's looking more like Digne will miss this week doesn't it.

    They play on Friday, still no reports of a scan, not spotted in training. Local reports talk only of how Baines has stepped up his recovery and in contention to replace digne.
