Everton’s popular attacking assets have underwhelmed Fantasy Premier League managers so far this season.

After two matches, they have scored just once, only Crystal Palace finding the net fewer times than the Toffees at this stage.

Perhaps we should not be too surprised to see Marco Silva’s men struggle in front of goal at this stage.

During their pre-season campaign, they scored just three goals in seven matches, with Richarlison (£8.0m) the only key figure missing for most of it.

One was registered against Kenyan side Kariobangi Sharks, while Monaco and Mainz were the only other teams to concede against Everton.

The Toffees drew blanks in four of their summer friendlies, against FC Sion, Wigan Athletic, Sevilla and Werder Bremen.

Of those who found the back of the net, Joe Williams and Lewis Gibson are not first-team regulars, the former now a permanent Wigan player, while Seamus Coleman (£5.5m) is the only summer goal-scorer to have played in either Premier League match so far this season.

Accordingly, ahead of a Gameweek 3 trip to Aston Villa, Fantasy managers might be looking to move on their Everton attackers.

We have assessed the underlying statistics from their first two matches of the campaign to find out if the Toffees have simply been unlucky not to score more often, or if there are some tangible reasons for concern.

As this article uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area only those who have signed up for the 2019/20 season can access it in full.

Asked on previous page, anyone considering double EVE defence?

Really considering going for digne/mina/vvd over digne/vvd/awb , the full merseyside defence..

    Laporte, Digne, A-Arnold, Jota

    KWP, Coleman, Soyuncu, Kane

The difference between having Kane and downgrading for Jota or someone else at that price is outrageous. Yet why do I still have Kane in my team, even when I wont ever be captaining him ?

I wouldn't have Kane if I wasn't gonna captain him
Most I'd go to is KDB price

Wowsers that's some difference all for the sake of Kane. I could understand if he was Messi-like, but for a player you don't intend on capping or trusting, it's a no brainer not to include him.

Final WC decision guys. A little input thanks

    A) Walker Peters & Cantwell (442, Cantwell benched most games, Walker Peters playing most but rotated with Soyuncu next GW)

    B) Lundstram & Ceballos (352)

      No WC surely

As Kiwi points out you’re wasting the chance to make money.

Decent overall squad actually. I’m counting about 7 players who are WC template. Villa defender isn’t urgent and Deeney can be fixed next time. Very reasonable 4-5-1 there this week

Really want to get in kdb, am thinking of moving perez out.
Also have deeney I need to shift now as well.

    Does this look awful?
    Perez & deeney
    To kdb & wickham(or any 4.5)

Would mean playing 4-5-1 or 5-4-1 every week till I wc, with either diop or dendoncker starting.

    1. jason_ni
      • 10 Years
      7 years, 1 day ago

I can do these moves now for -8, or wait and take a -4 after deadline tomorrow

      1. DVassell
        • 15 Years
        7 years, 1 day ago

Don’t do a -8 effectively for KDB (seeing as a Wickham is bench fodder)

Just play Perez and bite the bullet this gw

          • 10 Years
          7 years, 1 day ago

          This is sound advice.
How does it look as an option going forward rotate 4-5-1 5-4-1 with pukki up top.
Have wc in reserve if it fails!

  13. jimmyabs1987

    Bottomed

Due to the Gray price drop and me getting some team value from Pukki I can do this on WC. It gives me arguably the strongest midfield I have ever had with 2 playing forwards and all my bench being options.

    Pope

    Zinchenko, Digne, Montoya (Pieters, Lund)
    Sterling, Mane, Martial, KDB, Son
    Pukki, Gray (Greenwood)

I know it’s a bit left field but with rotating on fixtures I think I can get a decent 11 out each week

    Thoughts?

    1. DVassell
      • 15 Years
      7 years, 1 day ago

Don’t like Gray and not sure whether Son will slot straight back in.

I’d rather get Mount/Troussard/Ceballos and upgrade Gray to Rashford

Best 4m defender that's not Lund?

None honestly. There is Hanley, and Kelly, who isn't necessarily nailed when the likes of Sakho are back.

    Is a liverpool attacker essential?

not essential, but very highly advised in my opinion. If you haven't got one, Mane over Salah without a shadow of a doubt

    Thanks in advance ladies and gents;

    A) KdB, Salah, Pukki

    B) Mount, Mane, Kane (-4 hit)

Am I wrong to want to ship VVD over Robertson?

Just feel that Robertson has more points in him but, people with both seem to be favouring getting rid of him over VVD.

    Why?

VVD is cheaper with more goal threat. And TAA being on set pieces means he’s the most popular full back

Robertson isn’t on any set pieces?

      To save the 0.5 difference

I will ship VvD over Robbo. Robbo is soon going to up his attacking threat as Mane is fully back now.

If I had both I'd do the same. I feel Robertson will assist more than twice the amount VVD will score.

If they were equal price, I'd take Robbo but with the price difference it's a tricky choice.
Depends what u can do with the 0.5.

There is a theory that VAR gives VVD an edge because he can't be blatantly pulled down when attacking set pieces. For the saving I could see the case.

I kept Rob, and ditched VvD for AwB

Is it worth getting Pukki in over Barnes?

    A) Wilson + Barkley ---> Martial + Barnes (2FT)

    B) Wilson + Barkley + Pérez ---> Martial + Pukki + Mount (-4)

      B.
      My plan atm is
      Fraser + Perez + Wilson -> KDB + McGinn + Pukki

Thanks! That looks good - would love to fit KDB in myself but that'll take another 2 weeks probably!

          Is KDB actually outperforming expectations?

Any gw3 move to bring KDB in just seems like you’re doubting your start of season team to me.

Same to be said of bringing in Kane. You can’t have them all and presumably settled for no KDB in order to distribute funds equally elsewhere.

I’m really interested by these wildcard teams that put in the premiums that are firing (after 2 weeks) but allow no flexibility if a mid range option presents themselves as essential in another couple of weeks time.

If a mid range option starts firing then we sell KDB and have money to spare.

            Don't see your argument mate.

KDB looks solid, healthy and a real threat in anything city do going forward.

Wolves looked good and their strikers still good value but bit worrying they can be Agueroed off because of fixture pile up.

    A) Digne and KWP
    B) Coleman and Shaw

Can't afford Mina and AWB or that would be my preferred choice
