As per usual, there are a tonne of questions ahead of the Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 7 deadline.

Manchester City assets continue to be under threat from rotation, Liverpool still can’t keep clean sheets and Norwich continue to blank away from home.

To answer some of these dilemmas, we have put together another panel of Fantasy managers to help you out…

Who’s on the panel this week?

FPL General – Contributor to the Scout site who has three finishes inside the top 400 in the last five seasons and who has a huge following on Twitter. General – aka Mark – also appears regularly on the official FPL Show.

FPL Hints – One of the most-followed names in the FPL community, a seasoned veteran as well as a Scout writer and an Official FPL panellist. Finished 110th in the world in 2011/12.

FPL Heisenberg – Influencer within the FPL community with a top 10k finish in 2016/17, followed by top 1k in 2017/18.

Joe – Our very own Scoutcast and video host, long-time servant of the site, keeper of the Goals Imminent table and seven top 10k FPL finishes.

    Best option here with 2fts and 0.4m

    Heaton — Pope
    Taa • Zincheko • Vvd— Rico Digne
    Sterling • Kdb • Cantwell • James — Docker
    King • Kane (c) • Pukki

    A: James >> Mount and carry FT
    B: King >> Tammy and downgrade one of vvd/digne/zincheko to raise 0.7m
    C: James + Kane (c) >> Son (c) + Tammy....keep King (WHU) this gw and get rid next gw

      All options have merit.
      Tammy over Mount IMO
      Perhaps C?

        I'm thinking for my transfers: Mount + Digne to Son + 4.5 (maybe Diop) for -4
        I already have Abraham.
        other option; leave Mount and go Digne to TAA

    C.Wilson - Pukki - Tammy in a 3-4-3

        Agree with that, if you had sterling or kun who could be deemed rotation risks then having cant as a sub would be good but ur team currently isn’t at risk of rotation really. Maybe firmino could be when Origi fit again

    Should we be looking to add a premium/semi premium (9-12m) striker to our teams if we don't have one?

    Auba, Aguero & Firmino are doing very well.
    Vardy also has good fixtures on the horizon.
    I guess everyone is too fed up of Kane but even he has decent fixtures.

    It's been an amazing season for forwards so far! Pukki, Aguero, Abraham, Aubameyang, Firmino, C.Wilson all with 40+ total points and the only mids able to match that are Man City (KDB leads with 54. less than 40 on Sterling, D.Silva, Mahrez, B.Silva) and Liverpool (Salah/Mane).

    Barnes/Wood have also been great for the price, their mid "equivalents" being Mount, McGinn, Lamela, Cantwell.

    Deulofey, Maupay have also been individuals with excellent form, it's just that their teams have not been able to fully support them.

    I finally converted into a 3 forward system (3-5-2 into 4-3-3) with a -4 for GW7. I feel like I should have done this 3 GWs ago already.

    1. Sgt Frank Drebin
      • 9 Years

      Because of how well forwards have been doing so far people seem have some high expectations for them (ie Haller exodus after just two blanks). In my opinion it is rather unsustainable and we will see many of them slowing down but it doesn't mean the likes of Abraham Pukki or Haller won't be a good value still!

    On a wildcard. Weighing up between Firmino and Auba. Can afford both (no cash left if go Auba). Other forwards Aguero and Tammy.

    Firmino- cheaper but worse draw. Are Pool fixture proof? Auba- more expensive, better fixtures. Does Laca coming back affect?

    I'm torn. Advice appreciated

    Pukki Abraham

    Sub: Button Lundstram Elmo* Greenwood*

    How can I use my 2 FT this week with 0.4 itb?

    A) Ryan, Elmo -> Pope, Tomori/Soyuncu
    B) Elmo, Lowton -> Tomori, Soyuncu
    C) Mane,Greenwood -> Mount, Firmino/Vardy (bench Cantwell - double Norwich away doesn't look good)
    D) something else

    Thanks

    Maguire, Digne, Haller --> Azpi, Otamendi, Abraham -4?

    Allows VVD -> TAA next GW.

    Yeah?

      Sounds good. If it was me I would take the hit now. Tammy price will go up.

        Not sure if it is worth it, Jota might hit a bit of form and decent fixture. Will do Digne to Soyuncu to get extra 0.1 so should be fine to get Wilson or Tammy.

      I would rather lose Cathcart atm. Seems a waste of space.

        I had him rotating with Montoya. Got rid of the wrong one last GW. Can't really replace him with much at the moment though.

        No stellar options at 6.8 really. You could do a -4 though and do digne>ota and lanzini>maddison.
        Assuming Maddison is fit and your money can buy that, Maddison does have Liverpool in two weeks tho if that bothers you.
        Digne is likely getting you nothing this week tho so it’s not a bad move imo for a -4.

          Like this, had considered

          Digne + Lanzini + Greenwood => Aurier + Cantwell + Tammy (-8)

          But seemed a bit expensive for the improvement...
