Three clean sheets on the bounce have placed West Ham’s defence back on the Fantasy Premier League radar.

The Hammers have not conceded a single goal since Andre Gray (£5.9m) scored for Watford in Gameweek 3.

Following the 3-1 win at Vicarage Road, Norwich, Aston Villa and Manchester United have all gone up against Manuel Pellegrini’s men and failed to make a breakthrough.

Interest in West Ham’s defensive assets is understandably on the increase, but are they worth the investment.

This article aims to uncover the Hammers’ clean sheet potential over their upcoming fixtures and which individual assets warrant the spending.

As it uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those who are signed up for the 2019/20 season can access it in full.

What is West Ham’s clean sheet potential?

Lessons learned from Gameweek 6:

    Captain options this GW:

    A) Abraham (BHA)
    B) Kun (eve)
    C) Son (SOT)

With the way Spurs are playing I'm put off Son. Gotta be Kun, the man is the most consistent points scorer in the game

Any feedback on my Wildcard option A or B? Essentially my decision is to have Sterling+Greenwood OR Son+Vardy. Risk is going without Sterling vs getting ahead of the curve for a Son/Vardy streak. FPL decisions!

    A)
    Pope (Button)
    TTA, OTA, Aurier (Lundstram, Rico)
    Salah, KDB, Mount, Cantwell, Sterling*
    Pukki, Abraham (Greenwood)

    B)
    Pope (Button)
    TTA, OTA, Aurier (Lundstram, Rico)
    Salah, KDB, Mount, Son (Cantwell)
    Vardy, Pukki, Abraham

    Thanks guys.

I have toyed with something similar. It just feels a risk to me. In a few weeks, I might be offloading TTA but Liverpool after GW12 have a clear run of good fixtures where TTA could haul.

Love that midfield though! FPL risks!

Chelseas defence do not seem settled enough to bank on clean sheets & will Tomori be nailed or rotated. I like the Soy & Diop choices.

    VVD, Ota, Soy
Salah (C), Sterling (v), KDB, Mount
    Pukki, Haller, Abraham
    (Button) (Cantwell, Lunds, Rico)

It's not the first time Bernardo has appeared to reference Mendy’s skin colour on social media tho. He'll be get a ban, IMO, just not sure how long.

Actually going to say C, what better time to captain Vardy tbh and many going differential captain this week so it’s not as risky as normal.

      I'm probably going Vardy.

Maddison news isn't ideal, but it's Newcastle, Leicester will have plenty of the ball and hopefully enough creativity with Tielemans (looked good last nice, six key passes), maybe Praet and Barnes, the full-backs etc.

Son plays further forward and is the better player. Kane could get a penalty, if not, most likely a 2 pointed.

Son the easy choice for me here.

Think I'm right in saying Saints didn't have a manager for the 3-1 last season, Kelvin Davis took charge, just before Hasenhuttl was appointed.

That would have been Pellegrino in the dugout I believe.

By the way, I'm not saying Son isn't a good option this week. Spurs form is a concern, but I still think he'll get something.

I think there is a point where if one team batters another team every season (there was a 4-1 away win the season before where), both sets of players just get used to it, regardless of the managerial situation.

Yesterday I pulled a trigger and took a -4 for Digne/Zinchenko/Greenwood >> Tammy/Soyuncu/Rico as I had exact cash and was scared of Tammy rising

Today I wake up to this Maddison news. I've got Cantwell first sub but I really need Sterling to feature now as I really don't fancy Lundstram against Liverpool

Btw who's the better captain option this week - KDB or Salah?

Like all the bellcheeses on here last week thatsaid he was definitely going to start when it was obvious their was a doubt. Some people just have an inability to learn.

Plenty said he could be rested. I myself posted that he will either get a full rest or play 20+ minutes, unlikely to start.
Selective hearing is a serious problem.

But I am confident that the elite player tipped by Xavi and many others to succeed Ronaldo and Messi as the best player in the world will not get benched in the Prem 2 Gameweeks in a row.

Also, he was a doubt because he needed a rest, not because of his performances.

Strait back into the starting 11 this week imo.

Yesterday there was a hot topic on who will be next bandwagon. I've just seen it and I don't want my opinions would stay there.

I don't expect any bandwagon after this point of the season. Casuals has stopped to play anymore.

Look at to firmino. He had 12,8,9 points in last 3 GW and he even hadn't risen 0.1 m and only have 13% ownership that is very near to Greenwood who had only 4 points so far.

Or look Bernardo Silva. After getting a hat-trick and 19 points he should already had a rise if it was GW2.

So I believe we shouldn't expect more bandwagon to jump in order to increase our TV.
