Fantasy Football fashionistas Joe, David and FPL Family’s Sam attempt to second guess the next big trends over the coming Gameweeks.

Chelsea’s increasing array of young talent, Wolverhampton Wanderers’ improving form and fixtures as well as Liverpool’s double-up potential are among the next big things being tipped by our trio.

They also find time to wonder whether there really can be a better party than the one hosted by Norwich striker Teemu Pukki earlier in the season.

Sam has already left the forward’s party, David is reluctantly staying put while Joe is insisting everyone keeps dancing. Could the marksman’s brace for Finland, as the show was being streamed live, herald a renaissance? Joe’s goals imminent table certainly suggests patience with the East Anglian based hitman.

Elsewhere, Leicester’s favourable long-term fixture run is discussed and Sam coins a new Scoutcast phrase – “doing a David”. This refers to David’s transferring out of Foxes’ stars just before favourable form or fixtures.

Clean sheets, a particularly unlucky rough with the smooth entrant, as well as Gameweek 9’s captaincy and transfer plans are also on the bill.

In addition, there’s a birthday, a pair of flares and praise for the entire town of Bournemouth.

This Scoutcast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel. Be sure to subscribe to get notified of future live episodes.

The range of pronunciations of soyuncu on last night's scoutcast was quite funny. Joe got the wooden spoon for See-on-you I'm afraid.

Soy-un-juh I believe is pretty close.

Re the scoutcast, thought Sam had a really good debut. Very envious of her rank and still with wildcard too!

    Sorry repost for more opinions....

    Best combo on WC?
    A) Wilson + Soyuncu
    B) Jimenez + Schar

Tempted not to be boring with A... I'm liking B as it allows a straight swap form Madds to Martial when he hits form

Something stat heads like me wouldn't have perhaps picked up as his pen box touches are still high.

But the ear and eye test shows that he's on the edge of that box not right in the middle or coming in to score.

City really need Mendy back fully fit so he can have his natural width on the left and then Sterling can move back into the centre.

      1. Pukki Blinders
        • 7 Years
        6 years, 9 months ago

Agreed, though Mendy is curse, at this rate he will never be back fully fit

      2. I Member

Pep consistently played Sterling on the left in the run in last season and he did just fine without Mendy.

    3. I Member
      • 11 Years
      6 years, 9 months ago

Yeah but football doesn't work like that. Just because Pep gave him those instructions in that particular game doesn't mean it will be an ongoing thing. Wolves play with three CBs so it made sense for City to want to go down the outsides.

      1. Pukki Blinders
        • 7 Years

You're right, Wolves structure was likely the reason. Generally he hasn't been as central as we would like though

No offense but Auba isnt explosive enough and is unlikely to be top scorer in any week, let alone this one with Wilson, Tammy and Kane all having plum fixtures

As an Arsenal fan having watched every minute of every Arsenal game this season as well as a lot of Sheffield utd games since I own Lundstram, I can assure you that no amount or stats and numbers can convince my that Auba will be top scorers this week. I watched 90+ mins of us struggling to break down a leaky Bou defence last week.

Also as an Arsenal fan, he is one of the most prolific strikers in our history over his first fifty games for the club. He is certainly capable of a hat trick even if he only gets three chances.

I would love a hattrick, it would be his second for Arsenal, and first in the PL. The only one hes scored is in the enropa league last season.

But for now, in 8 PL games, hes only got one double digit haul. So yeah, I'll still stick to my prediction instead of the members area.

Anyone with common sense and knowledge about football understands that its bollocks that Auba has the highest rating this week. If RMT disagrees theres something wrong with the parameters for the algorithm. Hes not even playing at home...

Not definitely, maybe 95%?.. Returning against Utd was the plan around a month ago, and he was nearly back for the last game (I suspect they didn't want him playing internationals, and the extra time to prepare).

On WC: Callum Wilson or Maddison and use the extra money to upgrade defence. (Already have Vardy)

Glad Aguero escaped without being hurt from his car accident. The bad news is his insurance premium will likely go up now unless he has his no claims protected. Hopefully he does.

I am 0.1 short of Pukki to Wilson so need another transfer to do that.

Would you play Cantwell over him and have you looked at Brightons attacking stats in Members area?

Both sh!té but decent value. In the long run it probably won't matter which one you pick.
