The Scoutcast is back once again to cover the key discussion topics ahead of Gameweek 11.

David will be joined by Az and current FFS Mods and Cons joint-leader Andy Goddard this week.

The show will run from 20:00 GMT until 21:00 GMT. You can watch it on our YouTube channel.

Up first, the Scoutcast crew will reflect on a Gameweek 10 fraught with contrasting emotions.

Andy did exceptionally well – David and Az did not.

Then, moving forward into Gameweek 11, we will tackle the Manchester City rotation debate, how seriously to take Leicester’s recent form and whether budget defences are coming back into fashion once again.

Few ideas... 1.1 itb 2 FT

    Hendo
    TAA Perreira Tierney Lund
    KDB Mount CHO Mane
    Vardy Abraham
    (Button, Wilson, Rico, Longstaff)

    A) Button to Mcgovern (if krul is injured) to play him over Hendo in 12 and 13

    B) CHO, Wilson to Tiel, Rash

    C) Mane to Sterl

    D) Wilson, CHO to Connolly, Martial (upgrade Longstaff next week)

    1. Hazz
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member

I think D looks best long-term, but if CHO starts it could be painful vs. Watford.

What can you do with Wilson > Connolly & upgrading Longstaff?

(Even though I'm not sure Connolly will start either. With CHO 50/50,might be plain with fire.)

    2. Citizenkane91
      7 years, 4 days ago

Don't play a Norwich goalie ahead of anyone. The team can't defend, fixture difficulty really isn't very relevant for CS probability in their case.

  6. Remo85
    7 years, 4 days ago

    Schmeichel
    Soyuncu, Otamendi, Boly, Diop
    Salah, Mount, De Bruyne, Cantwell
    Aguero, Abraham

    Subs:Pope, Pukki, Saka, Pieters
This was my team last week.
What suggestion for transfers? Got 2FT but willing to take a -4 hit in order to make 3.
    Cheers guys

Cheers mate. Yeah BOLY was a cert to ship out. Also thinking of replacing pukki to Connolly and maybe improving Cantwell or Saka to a better midfielder. Maybe Tielemans or Maddison

like the sound of that, both good choices, i like tielamans, priced out of him this week due to lanzini drop, may bring in barnes who has had a couple of assists,,good luck

Let's try this one again... 2 FT. 0.9M ITB.

    Pope
    TAA / Pereira / Lundstram
    Mané / KDB / Maddison / Mount
    Vardy / Wilson / Abraham

    Button // Boly* / Rico / Cantwell

Not sure of my best move...

    A) Wilson/Maddison/Boly > Connelly/Sterling/Janmaat (-4)
    B) Wilson/Boly > Maupay/Robertson
    C) Other?

A is interesting, as I could play Janmaat in GW12. (Most other fixtures are poo.) However it's a downgrade I'll likely want to move back to Robertson, and that'll likely be via dropping Sterling/KDB... so is it pointless?

C is good, although I have a benching headache. Reluctant to bench Lundstram for that fixture, can't bench the Liverpool defenders and... basically not sure who else.

Look at someone other than Robertson?

    Pope
    TAA Soyuncu Lundstram
    Mount Mane Kdb CHO
    Vardy Abra Kun
    Button - Rico - Boly* - Dendo (0.8itb 1ft)
Various issues with Kun, Boly and CHO...
    A. Hold for this week and reassess.
    B. Kun and Den to sterling and Connolly.
    C. CHO and Kun to Sterling and Connolly (allows cash for Boly to Robbo soon).

Really need help, this season has been a killer for me after a TOP 5K last season. Only 11.9M to spend.

Otamendi and Cantwell to Mount and Lundstram? Any other option?

    Pope
    Soyuncu - TAA - ?
    Mane - Sterling (C) - Yarmolenko - ?
    Abraham - Pukki - Auba

My bench is poor: Rico - Hanley - Hayden

    1. how now brown cow

Tielemans or mount is a close pick for me.

Bro, since I wildcarded after the Norwich-City game with Aguero, Pukki, Cantwelll....killed my season.

        1. Rogue Todd

Anytime scorer odds: Auba 10/11, Vardy 5/4.

                7 years, 4 days ago

You get my point though. I'd have expected auba lower odds each week but arsenal defy odds and logic.

                1. Rogue Todd
                  7 years, 4 days ago

Of course it is not an exact science, but regardless I don't see that Vardy is "buy at all costs" at the moment as many are portraying. Obviously a great option though!

                  1. how now brown cow
                    7 years, 4 days ago

Agreed. I always try to be patient rather than knee jerky but it isn't serving me too well this season.

        2. Peter Ouch
          7 years, 4 days ago

I am not a fan of big strikers, they simply cant match big midfielders so I never go for auba or kun or kane that's why I have Vardy and tammy and go big on midfielders.

And I don't trust arsenal st all

For me everyone forgetting city the best attacking team in league, period. I didn’t want Vardy for Palace but got already this week because I do want him for next 6 weeks and don’t want to pay 9.5 after the weekend.

This season the big underpriced consistent players are Vardy, KDB, Abraham, Mount, Leicester midfield period, Lundstram. Gotta have them

      Wouldn't lose Tammy vs. Watford.

Maupay is interesting, but you'll want rid of him after Norwich possibly (fixtures).

    4. Citizenkane91
      7 years, 4 days ago

Yes, particularly when you see Brighton's fixtures after he 11, and Jimenez gw 12 vs Vardy's. Can't have them all. Plan to get in Vardy for gw 13 or 14 if you really want him, Ings could be an enabler with some very promising fixtures coming up.

      1. JIMMY TUGGINS
        7 years, 4 days ago

Vardy has Arsenal at home GW12, that's an amazing fixture for an attacker.

        1. Citizenkane91
          7 years, 4 days ago

Still prefer Jimenez in isolation for gw 12. And Tammy Vs gw12 Maupay or a ft less is a nobrainer.
