The arrival of Nathan Aké (£5.5m) at Manchester City could improve the club’s defensive prospects in 2020/21.

Pep Guardiola’s men were missing consistency and strength in depth at centre-back last season but Aké can be stabling influence this time around.

            I prefer it how it is.
            Jimenez and £5.5m mid will score higher than the alternatives suggested imo.
            People worry too much about flexibility, you can get anyone with a saved transfer.

        That’s my current team except that I have 4.5 mid instead of Armstrong and 1mio itb to do either of ASM -> foden, or Werner to Kane/Aguero, Justin -> AWB .... more flexibility

          Personally, I prefer Armstrong to ASM quite easily actually! Will likely be wrong but I thought he looked great last season.

          If Saliba is starting in the community shield I may make the switch. I do however like the look of Tierney in my squad. I thought he finished last season strongly also.

                I am joking x I am beginning to falter on the idea a little if Maguire misses out because jokes aside he is quite an important transitional player. I just don’t really like that many players this year

            Yeah, if Greenwood doesn't work out I'll be shifting value to defence, probably to get Laporte as he looks under priced this season.
