Fantasy Premier League managers are faced with some big decisions in Gameweek 12 as premium assets are delivering across the board and causing big swings in overall rankings.

Despite only three players blanking and a total of 66 points, I still got my fourth red arrow of the season in Gameweek 11. Not having Kevin De Bruyne (£11.8m), Mohamed Salah (£12.3m), Harry Kane (£10.9m) and Jamie Vardy (£10.3m) really hurt my chances of having a good round and I think I was fairly lucky to only have fallen 10,000 places in the overall rankings and to still be inside the top 30k.

    Next week Grealish, Kane to KDB and Watkins/Wilson (-4)

    This would give me a front 8 of
    Salah-KDB-Bruno-Son
    Wilson-Watkins-Bamford for the Christmas break

      Looks good, although not mega keen on Grealish out if you can avoid it. I think I’d pick him & Brewster over Watkins and a cheap mid if you can afford it?

    Moving Ziyech on this week and have got plans for transfers in the next few weeks, so please indulge me here as the options are limited:

    1. For Jota?
    2. Raphinha
    3. Neto
    4. Almiron/ASM (if fit)
    5. Any other option around 5.5-6m not mentioned?

    Jota is probably too expensive for what I am thinking of doing (I need to stagger the transfers), so 2-4 or alternative are what I am really considering.

    Any suggestions welcome!

      I went for Neto in a similar price range, six attacking returns in 11 games isn't bad for 5.5 - might get pens if Jimenez is out too...

    With the news that James Rodriguez is also unavailable, I'm leaning more and more towards the gamble of taking a hit to replace DCL with Bamford

    The biggest benefit of this is providing the money to easily upgrade Jota to Bruno (C) for GW13 against Sheffield United. Or is this just too risky?

      I am also thinking DCL --> Bamford for an effective (-4) as part of Kane + Bissouma --> Salah (c) + Brewster with my 2FT.

      I don't think yours sounds too risky though.

      Only way I remove DCL is if both James Rodriguez and Richarlison are injured for 2-3 gmwks. Richarlison still giving DCL potential.

      cresswell on set pieces as well with decent fixtures and double later on. TAA might still be rusty, if doing now tho would rather take Robertson who's taking most if not all set pieces, heck he was sharing them with TAA when he was playing.

      In a similar position. All the straight replacements look average at best. For free then I'd do C.

      My other option is to take a hit to do Vardy + Ziyech -> Bamford + Salah (tempted)

        Bit late now, but for what it's worth...I think i'd be torn with that decision too! I ended up just leaving it as I'd rather the freedom to make more changes next week. I'll have to take Brewster's 1point, 10 minute cameo on the chin!
