With one eye on Gameweek 17 and the other on the Double Gameweek, Az looks at some low-owned FPL players to in his latest Pro Pundits piece.

Hi everyone, hope you all had a great Christmas (even under strange circumstances) and are looking forward to the New Year and 2021.

I’m not going to focus this article on my team as Mark and I will be discussing what’s going wrong for me in our next episode of FPL BlackBox.

Instead, I’m going to present some differentials ahead of the upcoming Double Gameweek. I’m building my side out with the Free Hit in Gameweek 18 in mind, which leaves me free to plan who to have in place ready for Gameweek 19 – how exciting!

    Sorry for my ignorance, if I carry a transfer into a week that I use my FH chip in, will i have the double transfer available the following week? or does FH nullify any transfers banked.

    I have 2 this week and may fh next, if I use one this week, will I have 2 in 19.

        Only 1? Really? I would call the FPL kids and get it clarified:

        “Please note that when playing either a Wildcard or your Free Hit chip, any saved free transfers will be lost. You will be back to the usual 1 free transfer the following Gameweek“

      Looks alright, and I agree with the punt advice as not much you can do here. Maybe upgrade Mitchell to a more nailed 4.4 playing defender? Who are you planning on starting between Johnstone and Martinez?

    Can someone please give me some consolation for choosing Meslier and KWP instead of McCarthy and Dallas on my wildcard?

    It was a complete brain fart but is there any way it could be justified?
    I think I thought Meslier could get save points in the favourable DGW fixtures meaning more likelihood of bonus points with a clean sheet. Obviously should have picked Dallas though.

                  Spurs/Leeds being 0-0 seems highly unlikely. But I get why you dont trust Spurs to cap
                  On paper its an open game, could be an absolute thriller, the potential is there. But yes, it could be something like 1-1, 2-1.

          Raphina seems to be getting better and more dynamic. This cat is like Salah, Pulisic, Sterling.., Marcus Trashford dreams that he looks like Raphina when he dribbles. He plays faster than Adana Traore without oiling himself up

      Same, was gonna BB but thats off the table now. Will have 10 double gameweekers in my xi. And anothyer 2 on the bench for cover (KWP and Stuijk), but no 2nd keeper and Bissouma, so not BBing that mess.
      FH in 18 still on, excited for that.
