          I don’t really fancy a triple up on any club either.

          Whether these fears of postponed games end up being realised is another thing. Don’t think there were that many last winter when cases were through the roof. Although as the article says, players are no longer in “bubbles”.

            Also don't forget self isolation rules change August 16th , double vaccine and clear test after being in contact with someone positive you just carry on as normal if I understand it correctly so probably less chance of matches being called off unless major outbreak in club .

      Connor Gallacher going to Palace. At 5.0 I'd be on him, but he's 5.5. Is he worth considering, i.e. will he be nailed and create chances?

        Almost certain to be nailed you'd think - we've been after him for yonks - but at best a wait and see.

        No one really has an earthly how the 4-3-3 will work out but he should be at the pointy end of the midfield trio and does have goals and assists in him but hard to see him doing a Willock

            Olise would I think be more likely as he he'd likely feature in the front 3 and he's also bit of a set piece specialist and that's been a Palace weakness for years

            Zaha might well be on pens as Mili is possible/probable fall guy for Gallagher. Tekkers central and Zaha slightly tucked in - which is where he is most effective - seems likely.

          That’s my point though, if he joins which I think he will, it’ll be nearer to TDD and then it’s an easy switch (I guess there’s no reason to have another city player in the spot from the off but you know there’ll be plenty of early city goals)

      How am I looking? 1m ITB to catch an early bandwagon. Feel I may need some attacking cover but don't want to rip up my team to afford Bruno and there's questions over game time and immediate impact for greenwood, Cavani, martial and sancho

          I have fond memories of the points rolling in week after week with the TAA Robbo combo so maybe I'm just nostalgic but Liverpool's opening fixtures are fantastic so it's the best way to take advantage IMHO. Time will tell! Thanks for the comment

        Im on something very very similar but have used the extra 1M for Sanchez > Henderson and Raph > Barnes. Raphs first 4 fixtures are awful.

        I like it. I’ve kept 1m back for the same reason. It was 1.5 but with Covid I’ve gone for a second playing GK as well just in case. I’m not in to the Liverpool double up - I’ve gone without Liverpool defence but that’s just personal opinion.

            Do you have a better way to predict what is going to happen than looking at past stats? Obviously you take in factors like new signings, managers and injuries but beyond that you’re just guessing. That might be more fun but it won’t get you a high rank.

      This Leeds fixtures being awful doesn’t really stack up

      Man Utd away - lacking return of most players
      Everton at home isn’t a tough fixture imo
      Burnley away but early on isn’t tough either

      My plan is to bench Harrison for Utd and then play him GW2 onwards - no doubt Utd will be the game they score a fistful tho

        Big fan of that. Given the certainty of starts in that team you could probably move one of the 4.5 defenders to a 4.0.

        I Triple captained Salah on day one season before last v Norwich.

          I have done it three out of the past four seasons and think I had only one no show out of those three boosts...I could be wrong but I think we should have a fair idea of 15 decent starters by deadline even this season

          Nah it's a horribly overrated chip imo and managers end up losing good assets in the lead up to DGW concentrating too much on mediocre assets for their benches

              far too hyped up on places like this...perhaps I'm not so into it or patient enough or a combination of both I dunno...the season I finished top 5k I boosted in GW1 and felt I took advantage of other managers limitations with BB chip in second half of that season, so I guess that also plays on my mind

                I also did it last year and got 20 bench points. The downside of it is the fact that it forces you to WC straight after, and in my opinion WC is the most valuable chip in the game, that's why I chose not to do it this year.

      Transfers don't happen team has: Havertz, Torres, Nacho
      Transfers do happen team has: Harrison, ESR, Kane

      Got Salah in both versions.

      I'm not as upset by that midfield downgrade as I thought I would be (especially as I think Torres becomes a non option if Kane moves).

      I wanted to stick with one premium but am coming round to the idea of having Kane and Salah.

      I haven't really got a question other than you can post your thoughts.

      Bug report.

      Mods, the new player comparison system highlights in green the higher value of "Minutes per xGI, xA, and xG". Should it be the other way around? Lower minutes per xGI etc. is better, therefore that should be highlighted in green?

      Also, when you type Dallas' name in the player comparison tool the website crashes for some reason.

        I’d do ASM > Welbeck, Coufal to a 4.5 and then get a 7.5 mid in the Raph/Buendia spot. Pepe, Jota, Greenwood…one of them.
