White absent as Lukaku starts for Chelsea

Sunday’s Premier League action continues at the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal host Chelsea.

Romelu Lukaku (£11.5m) comes into Gameweek 2 with a significant level of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) interest.

The Belgian starts up top for Thomas Tuchel’s side, and will be supported by Mason Mount (£7.5m) and Kai Havertz (£8.4m) in the Blues 3-4-2-1 formation.

Elsewhere, Christian Pulisic (£8.0m) misses out after a positive Covid test, while N’Golo Kante (£5.0m) and Hakim Ziyech (£7.4m) are back on the bench after being injured in the UEFA Super Cup.

As for Arsenal, Ben White Â£4.5m) has been ruled out, as revealed by David Ornstein earlier today:

As a result, Mikel Arteta turns to Rob Holding (£4.4m), who joins Cedric Soares (£4.5m), Pablo Mari (£4.5m) and Kieran Tierney (£5.0m) at the back.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£9.9m), who has recovered from Covid, and new signing Aaron Ramsdale (£4.5m) are on the bench.

Martin Odegaard (£5.5m) has joined permanently from Real Madrid, however this game comes too soon for him.

        Yeah, Arsenal looked really weak down that side, so I'm reconsidering - but with all the rotating 9.0 is feeling a bit expensive for Mahrez.
        Could rollover again, and just swap Buendia for Raphinha though, because Buendia hasn't impressed

        Should I hold Mahrez one more week?

      I think that you need at least two big hitters to give you a choice for captain each week. Bruno Mo or Rom Mo are both OK but Mo Mount no.

      I didn't get this either honestly. Sometimes I think officials add on less time when they know the game is over and nothing is going to change, shouldn't be the case really but it happens

      Close games tend to get more extra time - in a 2-0 game there’s less to play for.

      I felt the 5 mins in the Man U game was generous (and conversely the 3 mins just now was short). Though no second half goals - that’s usually a minute or two right there.

    I’m considering doing Veltman > Duffy tonight to beat the price change.

    If Duff-man keeps his spot i can see him rising more with Brighton’s fixtures. It’s my 4th defensive slot anyway. (TAA, Shaw, Ayling, Livramento)

    Bank the 0.5 and see how it all goes next week with 2fts.

    If I wait I may as well not do it.

        It's Covid so unlikely to play next week. Think he's a good pick when Arsenal fixtures, but don't fancy the price drops. Think Tsimikas most likely to hold value for a week or so compared with Veltman & White.

    Considering the incoming fixtures, would you try and get Greenwood or rather punt on someone like Benrahma, Bergwijn or Adama?

    In my opinion the game vs Wolves won’t be easy for United which makes me thinking about other options, especially considering Spurs and WH fixtures.

    I think get Lukaku and then the only option that supersedes him is a City Kane and he’s then perfectly set as placeholder if and when that happens
