In the final Premier League match of the day, there’s a small matter of a north London derby at the Emirates as Arsenal take on Tottenham Hotspur.

The Gunners, who are unbeaten in their past 10 Premier League home games against Spurs, make one change as Granit Xhaka (£4.9m) returns to the starting XI after a three-game ban, with Nicolas Pepe (£7.2m) dropping out.

That means a third consecutive start for Aaron Ramsdale (£4.5m) in goal.

At Tottenham, Japhet Tanganga (£4.6m) and Davinson Sanchez (£4.5m) replace Emerson Royal (£5.0m) and Cristian Romero (£4.9m) at the back, while Lucas Moura (£6.4m) comes in for Giovani Lo Celso (£5.9m) further forward.

Steven Bergwijn (£6.0m) and Ryan Sessegnon (£4.4m) both miss out through injury.

GAMEWEEK 6 LINE-UPS

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Xhaka, Saka, Odegaard, Smith Rowe, Aubameyang

Subs: Leno, Pepe, Martinelli, Lokonga, Cedric, Maitland-Niles, Holding, Tavares, Lacazette

Spurs XI: Lloris, Tanganga, Sanchez, Dier, Reguilon, Hojbjerg, Ndombele, Alli, Moura, Son, Kane

Subs: Gollini, Rodon, Gil, Lo Celso, Skipp, Romero, Royal, Scarlett, Davies

Harry Kane isn't the reason for the bad performances

How is it his fault there's 0 service, 0 ability to hold the ball and a terrible defence

I think the guy who replied to my post is right - the fact he doesn’t want to be there is resonating throughout the whole team.

I think you can sense it when you watch them

This is Nuno ball, this is how it is under him most of the time

Are you watching the same game?

Harry Kane solely to blame for the third goal. Tanganga has put in several crosses and Kane is nowhere near where a centreforward should be.

This is so Arsenal. Pulling off a massive result and stringing a few wins together to give the fans hope that they've turned a corner. A few weeks and they'll be back in crisis mode.

ESR and Odergaard as 5.3 and 5.5, given Arsenal’s fixtures, probably need some consideration on the WC … is ESR going to be a regular starter …. Saka more so but at 1m more … will definitely have to take a look.

Kane isn't the reason for this bad performance, he's an easy target sure

    1. diesel001
      • 9 Years
      4 years, 9 months ago

He is. Because his morale is down. Which has brought down the morale of the squad. Players like Son are sitting there seeing Kane unhappy and thinking 'what does this mean for me?'

He is Spurs' best player. If your best player wants to leave it makes everyone else stop and think about their future too.
