Jota starts as Torres, Sterling and Mahrez benched for Man City

In the final match of Gameweek 7, Liverpool host Manchester City in a mouth-watering clash at Anfield.  

Kick-off is at 16:30 BST.

As expected, Liverpool are without the injured Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m), along with midfielders Thiago (£5.3m) and Harvey Elliot (£5.4m).

James Milner (£4.9m) starts at right-back, with Diogo Jota (£7.6m) preferred to Roberto Firmino (£8.8m) up front.

For Man City, Ilkay Gundogan (£7.2m) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (£5.3m) both miss out.

Gabriel Jesus (£8.6m), Jack Grealish (£8.0m) and Phil Foden (£7.9m) all start, with Ferran Torres (£7.0m), Raheem Sterling (£10.7m) and Riyad Mahrez (£8.7m) on the bench.

        Any midfielder or back up RB would have helped in these situations.. Relying on keita chamberlain jones origi won't get you the league.

        Not fan of spending that's not liverpool, but at least get what we really need atm wijnaldum shaqiri replacements at least.

    Sanchez has been fine and I usually like a 4.5 keeper but I am looking at ways to bring in Ederson, maybe in GW9. Anyone else considering him?

    Ederson and Cancelo, with Trent and Rudiger, along with Livramento and someone else could be fun.

      I think if there was a year where I was tempted to go for a premium keeper, it would be this one.

      But I would probably take Mendy and buy even more time to decide whether to get Ederson, Allison or Lloris in gw12

      I wouldn't pick him right now but I think he's less a rotation risk than most City attacjers bar De Bruyne or Grealish.

    What do you think of this : Ahead of Man City's nice run of fixtures, if one gets say Grealish, Foden and Jesus, and if he keeps them for 6-8 GW's , their net score can easily beat or at least match the net score of some other players in that price bracket whom would have to been switched between in order to get it right.

      Fixtures look favourable for City wins, not necessarily that some or all three will get decent points. You have three players there who can split City's attacking points in the games that they play but Jesus is a rotation risk for me. Grealish was a better pick for Villa. Could be very profitable but I'm staying away from City attack since I sold Grealish. Might get De Bruyne in soon enough though.

        Well if I steer away from mid price City options, I'd then at least get KDB and cap him against Burnley and Palace. Nonetheless I do think that having 3 mid priced City options can be very very profitable. Cheers!
