Crystal Palace take on Everton in the final Premier League match of Gameweek 16, with kick-off at Selhurst Park at 16:30 GMT.

Patrick Vieira makes three changes from the Gameweek 15 defeat at Manchester United, with Joel Ward, Will Hughes and Odsonne Edouard coming in for Nathaniel Clyne, Jeffrey Schlupp and Christian Benteke, all of whom drop to the bench.

That means influential defender Joachim Andersen remains out, despite returning to training last week.

As for Everton, Rafa Benitez also shuffles his pack. In come Mason Holgate, Fabian Delph and Andre Gomes, with Yerry Mina and Allan missing out completely, while Anthony Gordon is a substitute.

Lucas Digne, meanwhile, is once again absent from the matchday squad.

GAMEWEEK 16 LINE-UPS

Crystal Palace XI: Guaita, Ward, Tomkins, Guehi, Mitchell, Kouyate, Hughes, Gallagher, Ayew, Zaha, Edouard

Subs: Butland, Olise, Eze, Mateta, Schlupp, Clyne, Benteke, Kelly, Riedewald

Everton XI: Pickford, Coleman, Holgate, Keane, Godfrey, Doucoure, Delph, Gomes, Townsend, Gray, Richarlison

Subs: Begovic, Kenny, Iwobi, Gordon, Gbamin, Branthwaite, Rondon, Simms, Onyango

Picking James, Gundogan, Bowen, Kane over mount, Silva, Dennis has led to 5 red arrow in a row (121k to 327k).
What's the difference between them? What stats should we be considering to pick from the 2nd list and not the first? Or is this where luck comes in?

The difference in stats between Kane and Dennis was that Kane has scored once in the league and Dennis 4 or 5 times

      1. waltzingmatildas
        • 15 Years
        4 years, 4 months ago

Yes, this season. What about Kane's scoring history for the past 7 seasons?

        1. bombonera
          • 4 Years
          4 years, 4 months ago

You were asking about stats - that's a clear difference between the two players. One had good form, the other no form at all

    5. Jerse
      • 6 Years
      4 years, 4 months ago

Stats are ok to look at and part of the picture, but can be over-emphasised by many of the fantasy geeks. That said Kane had no points, no stats, and was so bad on the eye test I thought he was so over hyped based on reputation alone by many of the so called experts it was ridiculous.

Another good example was the King v Dennis debate. King could well catch Dennis up, but having watched Watford two or three times recently, Dennis looked far better on the eye test to me and seems more dangerous. I plumped for Dennis based on points and the eye test. Against Brentford he was the most advanced of the two and whilst King was unlucky in that game, the bottom line is Dennis has 20+ more points than King

    Here we go again...

    https://theathletic.com/news/manchester-united-group-training-disrupted-by-covid-19-outbreak/ETVjmaSEHkjP/

Manchester United have been hit by an outbreak of COVID-19 which meant Sunday’s group training could not take place as planned.

Ralf Rangnick’s side were only able to complete individual non-contact outdoor sessions after a small number of players and staff returned positive tests this morning.

The individuals who tested positive for the virus were sent home before the training session.

It is understood the whole group who travelled to Norwich have tested negative. The Premier League have been made aware of the situation.

As it stands, it is unclear whether their Premier League game against Brentford on Tuesday will go ahead.

Man Utd couldn’t train as normal today due to small number of player/staff #COVID19 cases. All negative for Norwich but some positive LFTs this morning sent home - others worked non-contact outdoors. Status of Brentford game unclear @TheAthleticUK #MUFC
