Wolves v Leicester team news: Maddison a sub, Barnes absent

Sunday’s Premier League action continues at Molineux, as Wolverhampton Wanderers host Leicester City at 16:30 GMT.

Notably, this is Wolves’ first Double Gameweek 26 match, with a trip to Arsenal to follow on Thursday.

Bruno Lage makes just one change from last weekend’s 2-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur, with Joao Moutinho coming in for Luke Cundle, who drops to the bench alongside Pedro Neto, who last appeared in April 2021.

For the visitors, James Maddison is only a substitute after feeling unwell in midweek, whilst Harvey Barnes is out because of a tight hamstring.

That means Marc Alrighton and Ademola Lookman line-up on the flanks, supporting lone forward Patson Daka.

Elsewhere, Luke Thomas replaces James Justin, who is out with a muscle injury.

      Weggy if you want to play the double. Home vs Leicester is a great fixture!

      If not, I'd target Leeds. Son running in behind or Kane with the chances he'll get in the box, can't go to far wrong with either of them.

    People here managed to change my plans from FH27, FH30, WC and BB around 36 to
    WC27, BB28, FH33, FH36.

    Why?

    In this way I could prepare for the uninspiring GW30 fixs without using a chip + have a good team until GW 30 and then have both FHs for 33 and 36.

      The problem with WC27 is you don't have enough info yet.

      We will know the GW30 blanks for sure in GW28. There's also the possibility of Chelsea doubling in 28, Chelsea's doubles in general since they have really nice base fixtures.

      I have no interest whatsoever in WC27 as a result. A GW28 WC is quite a bit different from a WC27 imo and Burnley is a big reason. I don't want any Burnley beyond this week.

    FH27 is such a conundrum for me...

    My team has a lot of players that would make a FH squad already but still I'm only fielding 10 and there's some high ceiling picks available as well.

    FH: Pope, Mee, Sterling, Son, Fernandes,
    Non-FH: DDG, Dalot, Maddison, Bowen, XX

    6 players already in my team I'd pick for a FH team (after I do King > Weghorst as my FT) including Kane and Mahrez.

    Will the FH get me 20+ points more?

        Not sure what you mean. The only thing is I get to keep Josh King instead of Weghorst for GW28. Yay. Makes no difference.

        FH is purely to score more points than what I'd otherwise field.

      Looks like you cover the main threats including Mahrez who seems to be the template City mid on FH and Kane, so probably worth saving. Only risk is if MUN go wild, but Watford aren't looking quite as bad defensively anymore.

    Who does everyone think are the best (i.e. most nailed) MCI targets for GW27?

    Right now I’m on Cancelo, Laporte and Mahrez.

    I’m considering KDB vs. Bruno but could go for KdB and drop Laporte…

          If you have Arsenal and Liverpool you have GW29 doublers.

            Sorry, yeah I mean hardly any relative to what others seem to be planning on going in with - I’ve got just 4 in total from Arsenal and Liverpool - feel it’s worth the FHs to get out 11 doublers
