Premium Members of Fantasy Football Scout can now get their own complimentary Transfer Planner to help with their Fantasy Premier League (FPL) preparations for the 2022/23.

Rob and James, the brains behind the Championship Manager FPL game, have relaunched their Transfer Planner for the new season, exclusively for Fantasy Football Scout subscribers.

The planner allows you to enter your FPL team as it currently is and then to set to work on what you would like it to become over the next few weeks, taking account of transfers, captaincies, chips and formation preferences.

The road ahead is kept up to date for you via a link to the Fantasy Football Scout Season Ticker and, if you think we’ve been a little too harsh on the Wolves attack or not given the Southampton defence enough credit, you can tweak the ratings to your satisfaction.

HOW TO USE IT

Get your FPL Transfer Planner for 2022/23 1

To get started, you fill in your player selections in the dropdown at the top of each player box on the Planner tab. Typing in the first few letters of a player name, or even “4.5” or “MUN” brings up a relevant shortlist to choose from.

Those same dropdown boxes are used to select your potential transfer targets in the columns for coming Gameweeks and your proposed starting XIs are indicated by tick boxes. Your transfer plans will be neatly summarised via In and Out sections at the foot of each Gameweek column.

If you want to narrow your focus to the next couple of unusual Gameweeks or jump ahead to consider the consequences of a hit there are “+” and “-” options for hiding and re-showing columns at the top of the Planner and Fixture Ticker tabs.

If your chosen FPL device doesn’t have an attached keyboard then downloading Google’s “Sheets” tab provides full functionality for mobiles and tablets.

HOW TO GET ONE

You’ll need to be an FFS Member to request your Transfer Planner. A link to the request form is available at the left-hand side of the Premium Members Area. Fill that out and your sheet will be on its way, though please be patient during this initial release as each one must currently be despatched manually.

Once your Transfer Planner arrives, it may take 20-30 seconds to load when you first use it. The Transfer Planner needs an internet connection to stay active and may sometimes need to be refreshed to re-establish the link.

The first thing I'm going to do when I take over the world is have every single person on here who ever included "threemium" in a post locked up in a Cowdenbeath jail for twenty years minimum.

Very much dependent on whether Martinelli & Broja start regularly. If they do, it looks good, although you're going to have a hell of a captain dilemma each week.

I like this draft, only missing Spurs:

      Mendy
      TAA - Cancelo - Chilly - Tomi
      Salah - Saka - Diaz - Neto
      Haaland - Toney
      4.0 - Neco - Andres - 4.5

      A) Chilwell + Toney > Cash/Doherty/Trippier + Jesus

      B) Chilwell + Neto > C/D/T + Coutinho/Rashy

      C) Keep as is

"Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira says it is "not ideal" so many senior players are absent from his club's tour of Singapore and Australia.

Nine players, including Wilfried Zaha, Eberechi Eze, Christian Benteke and Marc Guehi, have not travelled.

Palace have said some players were not fit and others did not meet entry requirements for the countries "when travel arrangements were made". "

      BBC

They have awful opening fixtures anyway, but it doesn't look like Palace will hit the ground running.

They could have arranged games somewhere that would admit non vac players, they are chasing money to the detriment of preparation.

Most of all though, I don't understand why player contracts don't cover this issue: Get vaccinated or it is breach of contract.

I know its a controversial subject and not for here but could you imagine if Employers had the power to inject you with whatever they wanted or you don't get a job.

It was standard practice for clubs to be able to mandate treatment (patch him up, give him a pain killing injection) so given that, mandating covid vaccination is comfortably less draconian. I know there is a bit more enlightened treatment these days but I still would have thought that consciously making yourself unavailable when you are contracted would put the player in the wrong legally.

            But what do I know.

Many jobs in healthcare settings require mandatory vaccinations. Likewise many countries enforce mandatory vaccination for entry. It's not new.

For anyone who qualifies and wants to join - I've set up a top 10K all time league

You can check your all time rank here (you still need to use last seasons ID for now)

      https://www.premierfantasytools.com/whats-my-all-time-rank/

Here is the link to join if you qualify

      https://fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/auto-join/pb0qri

I will vet the teams after GW1 when new ID’s should be working.

      Cheers

Haaland. I've been waiting for a nailed on number 9 at City due to their elite chance creation. The ownership is also a factor for me, I'd rather move with the herd to start then find the differentials.

I thought about this hokey cokey but WHU are not proven defensively, you'll want Haaland for week 2. Is it not better to do Wilson to Jesus if you're booking in a transfer?

      6. Under my Cucurella

I'm leaning towards Kane now as well but not sure how else to cover City attack, who would be most immune from Pep roulette at this stage, is it Mahrez?

        1. CYN
          • 7 Years
          3 years, 9 months ago

This is the other factor behind me choosing Haaland. Pep roulette is a nightmare and other than KDB, I think Haaland will be the most nailed on player - spearheading potentially the most lethal attack in the league. I don't want the headache of Mahrez and Foden when benches will be weak until we work out who the best budget enablers are.

Haaland because I think he will score more points.

Has better medium term fixtures, and had proven himself in the UCL; scoring against PSG and Liverpool, and bullying Dias against City.

Best part about Man City players is that they never play against Man City.

      9. DelPiero10
          3 years, 9 months ago

Haaland. He's exactly what City need and fits their system so no real settling-in period imo. Also superior fixtures and an obviously far superior team. Looks like gold at 11.5m at least until he gets crocked.

        TAA / Cancelo / Botman(could be Tomiyasu)
        Salah / Diaz / Saka / Rashford / Neto
        Kane(could be Haaland) / Wilson

He’s definitely going under the radar a little, obviously everyone noticed his returns in the first 6 gameweeks but then he went off the boil a little, if you check his stats for the last 10 games roughly he chipped in with a fair few goals/assists. The issue is, Moyes clearly doesn’t trust him fully due to the inability to track back and he regularly loses possession, so he is very prone to being hooked after 60 minutes or worse having 10 minute cameos once the games fully settled.

Fornals would be a more reliable option for minutes if you fancy us (WHU) specifically. Otherwise Bruno G, Gordon etc around that price point are attractive options in my opinion.

Crazy to go Salahless, if he bangs and is captained you will be 20-40 points behind from one player. Not worth the risk

Rule 1 of FPL for me is never bet against Salah. Good luck.

Southampton beat Tottenham in their most recent match 3-2, some forget how ‘Spursy’ Tottenham can be at times. Them getting turned over week 1 is not out of the reckoning here.

I fully expect Haaland to hit the ground running against us don’t you worry. He’s locked into my team from the off…

Yes Spurs should runaway with that game on paper, however I don’t think it will be as easy as many on here believe it will be. First game of the season, anything can happen.

I can't believe it's possible to make a full starting XI entirely out of big 6 club players - the pricing this year is mental. Can't remember it ever being this easy to make a quality team before?

        Mendy
        Trent - Cancelo/Robertson - James/Chilwell - Tomiyasu/White
        Martinelli - Rashford/Odegaard - Salah/Son - Diaz/Mahrez/Saka/Kulu
        Kane/Haaland - Jesus

        Madness.

Same. I'm tempted to swap Diaz for Mount as I've got 3 Liverpool at the minute. Would give me the below (very template):

            Meslier
            Trent - Cancelo - James - Trippier
            Salah - Rashford - Martinelli - Mount
            Haaland - Jesus

I fancy Kulu after his strong finish too, but Richarlison worries me.

Mount is better than 3 Liverpool IMO. I have him too, but instead of Salah, not Diaz. The 5m saving goes a long way in strengthening the rest of my team.

Somehow find myself with 0.5 ITB not knowing where to spend it!

        Mendy - Begovic
        TAA - Dias - Cancelo - Trippier - Digne
        Salah - Diaz - Mount - Martinelli
        Haaland

Bench: Andreas - Greenwood - Forss

Andreas will rotate with Trippier in GW 3 & 5. Rest of bench is just fodder, really.
        Any ideas?
