With my Leeds fan blinkers on, I made the mistake of losing Jesus rather than Bamford for Haaland this week. Ouch. Should I swallow my pride and bring Jesus back for Bamford this week?

Was gutted after Haaland failed to score and I captained him, Cancelo has helped me though

But the best part of the day was after the game, outside the Etihad and we was all celebrating the fact that Brentford had just scored the second goal.

Winning 4-0 was just hilarious

My musings from today.

1. Aston Villa looked far from convincing, but Watkins and Ings were some of the better performers, alongside Buendia. Bailey is a sell, but only if Andreas is injured. Either way, it’s a transfer that is needed.

2. Everton toothless, until Onana came on. Defensively they were alright, and Coady + Tarkowski looked good. Coleman on the bench so Patterson owners need to be wary but I think playing him and Neco next week is a genuine option.

3. Haaland seems better suited to away games, this is where the home team naturally push on leaving spaces in behind for him to exploit. I will be captaining him against Newcastle, 90%.

4. Jesus is a captaincy option in the future. Not sure I like next week because Bournemouth looked resolute, but a good differential Captain gameweek 4.

5. Rodrigo looks an incredible pick. Bamford injury most likely puts him on pens. Chelsea next, but he is firmly on my radar.

6. Martinelli another solid pick. 90 mins today. I’m a non-owner and he scares me.

7. Fulham are premier league quality. Yes, it’s still a team to target but caution advised.

8. Da Silva is a decent option, but only lasted 60. Wouldn’t be using a precious FT on him if I am honest.

9. Walker is my number one priority. Looks an excellent pick at 5.0m.

10. Newcastle assets could be a keep for the next 3.

Think I'm doing Mahrez and Rashford to Rodrigo and Dasilva. Leaves me with £4m to play with which could mean Neco to Robertson or Andreas to £8m mid (which I realise I could do Mahrez to but allows me to avoid price changes and gives me the remaining games to pick). May mean a hit if I did all three moves this week, but feels ok
