Gameweek 4 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) concludes this afternoon, with Nottingham Forest v Tottenham Hotspur getting underway at 16:30 BST.

Spurs are unchanged from their win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in Gameweek 3.

That means Ivan Perisic once again lines up at left wing-back, with Dejan Kulusevski, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane in attack.

Antonio Conte is without Cristian Romero and Oliver Skipp, plus Lucas Moura and Bryan Gil.

As for the hosts, Steve Cooper makes two changes to his starting XI, with Ryan Yates and new signing Morgan Gibbs-White replacing Orel Mangala – who is not in the squad – and Taiwo Awoniyi.

Elsewhere, budget midfielder Jack Colback returns for the first time since Gameweek 1 following an illness. Moussa Niakhate and Omar Richards, however, are long-term absentees.

GAMEWEEK 4 LINE-UPS

Nottingham Forest XI: Henderson, Worrall, Cook, McKenna, Williams, Yates, O’Brien, Toffolo, Gibbs-White, Lingard, Johnson

Subs: Hennessey, Biancone, Colback, Awoniyi, Surridge, Mighten, Kouyate, Freuler, Dennis

Tottenham Hotspur XI: Lloris, Sanchez, Dier, Davies, Royal, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Perisic, Kulusevski, Son, Kane

Subs: Forster, Doherty, Richarlison, Sessegnon, Spence, Tanganga, Sarr, Lenglet, Bissouma

Why does a linesman not putting his flag up for offside, increase the risk of injury to a player?

If Lino puts flag up and it’s incorrect (not offside) you can’t go back and get that opportunity again.

If Lino doesn’t put his flag up until chance is completed/goal scored, then if incorrect can still give goal

Ultimately to ensure attackers not disadvantaged by VAR

WHA always raise their game against spurs. Betting against MCI defence, irrespective of last few games, seems dangerous

    Mount out for which punt?

    A) Trossard
    B) Barnes
    C) Other?

Current mid of Salah, Odegaard, Rodrigo
    Already have 3 City..

Better option to bring in place of Mount & Digne for 2FTs?

    A) Gross + James

    C) Rodrigo + James
    D) Rodrigo + Perisic

I'd say Gross and James, Perisic too unreliable to start games and Gross cheaper than Rodrigo + better fixtures.

    3. Nate(U)dog(ie)

I've seen some Spurs fans talking about him elsewhere and they think it's something opposition teams are planning. They're pushing him back to pick up the ball closer to the halfway line (Sessegnon and Perisic advancing is adding to this as he needs to do more defensive work) and for everything he's great at, he's one of the weakest ball carriers in the Spurs team. They're targeting the likes of Kulusevski and Kane but letting Son have more space on his side in midfield, he drops deeper and tries to run with it and doesn't tend to get far

    4. Haalander

Last season yes he was capable of a haul in any game but he really doesn’t look on it and looks bereft of confidence. Think you’re right to lose him. Maybe he’ll come good later in the season. Sterling could be a good replacement with a bit of money in the bank along with it

Had him since GW1, he stays for me. 9,2,7.2 so good returns so far. Southampton don’t look great but he is always involved and on free-kicks and penalties so I’m happy to leave him for the duration. Jumping on a fashionable pick at that price from week to week and expecting last weeks points is just a headache.

He's not a fast winger. Which is quite weird in today's game. He makes up for it in technical ability, vision and strength.

      1. Scapegoat Salah
        • 9 Years
        3 years, 8 months ago

Wouldn’t say he’s slow though, still quite fast just not rapid.

Keeps the ball close to his feet as well which makes him ‘faster’

    3. Iwantmorepointsthanks
      • 12 Years

His mind is faster. Sometimes that is way more important in football than pure speed (look at Traore)

I think he's fast but his running style makes him look slower, he has fantastic balance, control and strength so he's happy to slow up on his runs and pull defenders in, and is capable of holding them off and turning away

I think I'm ready to admit my single premium team using 3 8m mids to cover haaland was a mistake. At least the 3 8m mids I picked were anyway. Looking to bring haaland in on a -4. Anyone see any better options? I know he might get benched but I can't have him crushing me every week and his price is getting out of reach.

    Sanchez, ward
    Robbo, TAA, James, Cancelo, neco
    Mount, saka, Salah, gross, martinelli
    Jesus, archer, stansfield

    2FT 2.3M ITB

    A) Mount, saka & archer -> haaland, Harrison & andreas (-4)
    B) something else

    1. Gubby-Allen

We are speaking of a CL,top 4 contender playing VS NFO ...
They had periods of 70 bal posession at times.

We’re a counter attack team away from home, possession means sod all if you don’t score goals

I saw a stat recently where 60% of spurs goals come in the last 20 mins. They are capable of big scores too.

You can take the manager out of Italy but you can’t take Italy out of the manager.

He was holding him hamstring after he scored (90) and stayed on them was substituted at the end for Ritchie (90+9).

Difficult to know straight away but it’s never a good idea to keep playing once you feel he hamstring going.

Would be very surprised if he doesn't miss a few games, Trippier looked like he pulled up earlier in the game but seemed OK but ASM looked like a very straightforward hamstring pull with the way he was

1 more from Kane in the second half to be joint 3rd (with Cole) in all time top premier league goalscorers

75 more in his career to be the GOAT

Took a bet at 28/1 from Skybet for him beating Shearer's record about 2 seasons after he broke into the 1st team. A long game bet.

Imagine the odds now are Evs or lower

Well from a selfish point of view from owning Kane I hope you’re collecting on that bet by the end of the season

Haha it will still be about 3-4 more seasons before that's likely to happen.

Every goal counts though. Could overtake Rooney by the season end hopefully

Probably a bit of wait and see, but do we think Zinc gets back into the team when he’s fit again? News seems to suggest it’s a v. minor knock?

City were 2-1 down, brought on Gundogan and changed formation. Tactical is the short answer

Not watching the game. Is he not playing well then? Has always been my go to player in FPL. Not this season as yet though but always on my watch list. Thought today could be his day.
